Review on integral stiffened panel of aircraft fuselage structure

The increasing demand to decrease manufacturing costs and weight reduction is driving the aircraft industry to change the use of conventional riveted stiffened panels to integral stiffened panels(ISP)for aircraft fuselage structures.ISP is a relatively new structure in aircraft industries and is considered the most significant development in a decade.These structures have the potential to replace the conventional stiffened panel due to the emergence of manufacturing technology,including welding,high-speed machining(HSM),extruding,and bonding.Although laser beam welding(LBW)and friction stir welding(FSW)have been applied in aircraft companies,many investigations into ISP continue to be conducted.In this review article,the current state of understanding and advancement of ISP structure is addressed.A particular explanation has been given to(a)buckling performance,(b)fatigue performance of the ISP,(c)modeling and simulation aspects,and(d)the impact of manufacturing decisions in welding processes on the final structural behavior of the ISP during service.Compared to riveted panels,machined ISP had a better compressive buckling load,and FSW integral panels had a lower buckling load than riveted panels.Compressive residual stress decreased the stress intensity factor(SIF)rates,slowing down the growth of fatigue cracks as occurred in FSW and LBW ISP. 展开更多

With the increasing precision of guidance,the impact of autopilot dynamic characteristics and target maneuvering abilities on precision guidance is becoming more and more significant.In order to reduce or even eliminate the autopilot dynamic operation and the target maneuvering influence,this paper suggests a guidance system model involving a novel integral sliding mode guidance law(ISMGL).The method utilizes the dynamic characteristics and the impact angle,combined with a sliding mode surface scheme that includes the desired line-ofsight angle,line-of-sight angular rate,and second-order differential of the angular line-of-sight.At the same time,the evaluation scenario considere the target maneuvering in the system as the external disturbance,and the non-homogeneous disturbance observer estimate the target maneuvering as a compensation of the guidance command.The proposed system’s stability is proven based on the Lyapunov stability criterion.The simulations reveale that ISMGL effectively intercepted large maneuvering targets and present a smaller miss-distance compared with traditional linear sliding mode guidance laws and trajectory shaping guidance laws.Furthermore,ISMGL has a more accurate impact angle and fast convergence speed. 展开更多

This paper investigates interception missiles’trajectory tracking guidance problem under wind field and external disturbances in the boost phase.Indeed,the velocity control in such trajectory tracking guidance systems of missiles is challenging.As our contribution,the velocity control channel is designed to deal with the intractable velocity problem and improve tracking accuracy.The global prescribed performance function,which guarantees the tracking error within the set range and the global convergence of the tracking guidance system,is first proposed based on the traditional PPF.Then,a tracking guidance strategy is derived using the integral sliding mode control techniques to make the sliding manifold and tracking errors converge to zero and avoid singularities.Meanwhile,an improved switching control law is introduced into the designed tracking guidance algorithm to deal with the chattering problem.A back propagation neural network(BPNN)extended state observer(BPNNESO)is employed in the inner loop to identify disturbances.The obtained results indicate that the proposed tracking guidance approach achieves the trajectory tracking guidance objective without and with disturbances and outperforms the existing tracking guidance schemes with the lowest tracking errors,convergence times,and overshoots. 展开更多

Missile interception problem can be regarded as a two-person zero-sum differential games problem,which depends on the solution of Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs(HJI)equa-tion.It has been proved impossible to obtain a closed-form solu-tion due to the nonlinearity of HJI equation,and many iterative algorithms are proposed to solve the HJI equation.Simultane-ous policy updating algorithm(SPUA)is an effective algorithm for solving HJI equation,but it is an on-policy integral reinforce-ment learning(IRL).For online implementation of SPUA,the dis-turbance signals need to be adjustable,which is unrealistic.In this paper,an off-policy IRL algorithm based on SPUA is pro-posed without making use of any knowledge of the systems dynamics.Then,a neural-network based online adaptive critic implementation scheme of the off-policy IRL algorithm is pre-sented.Based on the online off-policy IRL method,a computa-tional intelligence interception guidance(CIIG)law is developed for intercepting high-maneuvering target.As a model-free method,intercepting targets can be achieved through measur-ing system data online.The effectiveness of the CIIG is verified through two missile and target engagement scenarios. 展开更多

Emotional inference by means of Choquet integral and λ-fuzzy measurement in consideration of ambiguity of human mentality 被引量:1

Research on human emotions has started to address psychological aspects of human nature and has advanced to the point of designing various models that represent them quantitatively and systematically. Based on the findings, a method is suggested for emotional space formation and emotional inference that enhance the quality and maximize the reality of emotion-based personalized services. In consideration of the subjective tendencies of individuals, AHP was adopted for the quantitative evaluation of human emotions, based on which an emotional space remodeling method is suggested in reference to the emotional model of Thayer and Plutchik, which takes into account personal emotions. In addition, Sugeno fuzzy inference, fuzzy measures, and Choquet integral were adopted for emotional inference in the remodeled personalized emotional space model. Its performance was evaluated through an experiment. Fourteen cases were analyzed with 4.0 and higher evaluation value of emotions inferred, for the evaluation of emotional similarity, through the case studies of 17 kinds of emotional inference methods. Matching results per inference method in ten cases accounting for 71% are confirmed. It is also found that the remaining two cases are inferred as adjoining emotion in the same section. In this manner, the similarity of inference results is verified. 展开更多

For deep tunnel projects,selecting an appropriate initial support distance is critical to improving the self-supporting capacity of surrounding rock.In this work,an intuitive method for determining the tunnel’s initial support distance was proposed.First,based on the convergence-confinement method,a three-dimensional analytical model was constructed by combining an analytical solution of a non-circular tunnel with the Tecplot software.Then,according to the integral failure criteria of rock,the failure tendency coefficients of hard surrounding rock were computed and the spatial distribution plots of that were constructed.On this basis,the tunnel’s key failure positions were identified,and the relationship between the failure tendency coefficient at key failure positions and their distances from the working face was established.Finally,the distance from the working face that corresponds to the critical failure tendency coefficient was taken as the optimal support distance.A practical project was used as an example,and a reasonable initial support distance was successfully determined by applying the developed method.Moreover,it is found that the stability of hard surrounding rock decreases rapidly within the range of 1.0D(D is the tunnel diameter)from the working face,and tends to be stable outside the range of 1.0D. 展开更多

An integral sliding mode guidance law(ISMGL)combined with the advantages of the integral sliding mode control(SMC)method is designed to address maneuvering target interception problems with impact angle constraints.The relative motion equation of the missile and the target considering the impact angle constraint is established in the longitudinal plane,and an integral sliding mode surface is constructed.The proposed guidance law resolves the existence of a steady-state error problem in the traditional SMC.Such a guidance law ensures that the missile hits the target with an ideal impact angle in finite time and the missile is kept highly robust throughout the interception process.By adopting the dynamic surface control method,the ISMGL is designed considering the impact angle constraints and the autopilot dynamic characteristics.According to the Lyapunov stability theorem,all states of the closed-loop system are finally proven to be uniformly bounded.Simulation results are compared with the general sliding mode guidance law and the trajectory shaping guidance law,and the findings verify the effectiveness and superiority of the ISMGL. 展开更多

为了进一步提高基于四象限探测器的半主动式激光导引头的目标定位精度,本文以高斯分布的圆形光斑作为入射光斑模型,提出了一种基于Infinite integral拟合方法的改进算法(GII)。在Infinite integral拟合算法的基础上,考虑了外部光能和死... 为了进一步提高基于四象限探测器的半主动式激光导引头的目标定位精度,本文以高斯分布的圆形光斑作为入射光斑模型,提出了一种基于Infinite integral拟合方法的改进算法(GII)。在Infinite integral拟合算法的基础上,考虑了外部光能和死区带来的误差影响,采用最小二乘法获得最佳拟合的解析表达式。为了简化算法的计算量,对部分解析表达式进行分段式多项式拟合,优化拟合区间,并得到GII算法的解析表达式。GII算法相较于传统Infinite integral拟合算法和8次多项式拟合法,精度大幅度提升。仿真和实验表明,该算法在确保良好实时性的同时,能增加四象限探测器的有效探测范围,提高不同光斑半径下四象限探测器的定位精度,为战场环境下精准激光制导武器的发展提供了理论参考。 展开更多

An LMI characterization of the slid- ing surface is given, together with an integral sliding mode control law guaranteeing the existence of a sliding mode from the initial time. The design of servo controllers for flexible ball screw drives with matched and mismatched disturbances and uncertainties is focused to improve the tracking performance and bandwidth of ball screw drives.A two degrees of freedom mass model is established based on the axial vibration characteristics of the transport ball screw,and the controller of an adaptive integral sliding mode is proposed combining the optimal design of state feedback gain matrix K to restrain the vibration and the matched disturbances and uncertainties.Then for the counteraction of the mismatched disturbances and uncertainties,a nonlinear disturbance observer is also developed.The trajectory tracking performance experiments and bandwidth analysis were conducted on experimental setup with the proposed control method.It is proved that the adaptive integral sliding mode controller has a high tracking performance and bandwidth especially for the axial vibration characteristics model of ball screw drives.And the ball screw tracking accuracy also has a considerable improvement with the application of the proposed nonlinear disturbance observer. 展开更多

An adaptive integral dynamic surface control approach based on fully tuned radial basis function neural network (FTRBFNN) is presented for a general class of strict-feedback nonlinear systems,which may possess a wide class of uncertainties that are not linearly parameterized and do not have any prior knowledge of the bounding functions.FTRBFNN is employed to approximate the uncertainty online,and a systematic framework for adaptive controller design is given by dynamic surface control. The control algorithm has two outstanding features,namely,the neural network regulates the weights,width and center of Gaussian function simultaneously,which ensures the control system has perfect ability of restraining different unknown uncertainties and the integral term of tracking error introduced in the control law can eliminate the static error of the closed loop system effectively. As a result,high control precision can be achieved.All signals in the closed loop system can be guaranteed bounded by Lyapunov approach.Finally,simulation results demonstrate the validity of the control approach. 展开更多

So far there are mainly two kinds of inversion methods, based on the finite-element method and alpha centers method. In this paper, the disadvantages of these two kinds of methods were analysed,and a new method of forward modeling and inversion (Tomography) based on boundary integral equations was proposed. This scheme successfuly overcomes the difficulties of the two formarly methods. It isn’t necessary to use the linearization approximation and calculate the Jacobi matrix. Numerical modeling results given in this paper showed that the computation speed of our method is fast, and there is not any special requirement for initial model, and satisfying results of tomography can be obtained in the case of great contrast of conductivity. To improve heat-transfer performance, a novel integral three-dimensional fin-structure on the plat surface was presented to increase the evaporation efficiency. The three-dimensional fin-structure is composed of a spiral micro-groove and multi radial micro-grooves. Both ploughing-extrusion(P-E) and stamping were used to form the integral-fins with a connection between radial and circumferential directions. Based on the SEM results, the relationships among P-E speed v P-E, rotational speed np and feed fp, and among interference length Li, stamping feed angle θc and stamping depth ac were analyzed. The effects of processing parameters on the groove morphology and the matching relationship between parameters were also discussed. The integral finned surface with micro-grooves and cracks can be obtained under such processing conditions: P-E depth ap=0.3 mm, ac=0.3 mm, the interval of helical groove dp=1.24 mm, θc=2° and np=50 r/min. 展开更多

Generally, viscoelastic solid constitutive equation can be written into differential form and integral form. From differential form of constitutive equation the mathematical representation of the state space equation can be derived. Due to the state space equation, general constitutive equation can be solved by precise integration method that can be used in many fields with the advantages of highly precision and convenience. For linear viscoelastic solids with crack, the finite elements program of the precise integration method for viscoelastic solid is developed, which appears to be efficient and precise. C-integral is used to be the characterising parameter. 展开更多

A nonlinear pressure controller was presented to track desired feeding pressure for the cutter feeding system(CFS) of trench cutter(TC) in the presence of unknown external disturbances.The feeding pressure control of CFS is subjected to unknown load characteristics of rock or soil; in addition,the geological condition is time-varying.Due to the complex load characteristics of rock or soil,the feeding velocity of TC is related to geological conditions.What is worse,its dynamic model is subjected to uncertainties and its function is unknown.To deal with the particular characteristics of CFS,a novel adaptive fuzzy integral sliding mode control(AFISMC) was designed for feeding pressure control of CFS,which combines the robust characteristics of an integral sliding mode controller and the adaptive adjusting characteristics of an adaptive fuzzy controller.The AFISMC feeding pressure controller is synthesized using the backstepping technique.The stability of the overall closed-loop system consisting of the adaptive fuzzy inference system,integral sliding mode controller and the cutter feeding system is proved using Lyapunov theory.Experiments are conducted on a TC test bench with the AFISMC under different operating conditions.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed AFISMC feeding pressure controller for CFS gives a superior and robust pressure tracking performance with maximum pressure tracking error within ?0.3 MPa. 展开更多
