A tunneled planing hull has unique hybrid hydrodynamic and aerodynamic characteristics due to the presence of a tunnel.In this paper,experimental and numerical investigations on hydrody namic analysis of a tunneled planing hull are carried out.The resistance tests of models with three dif ferent masses(127.4 kg,159.5 kg,202.9 kg)are conducted for the Froude number in the range of 0.761≤Fn≤1.925.The results of resistance measured by towing tank imply that the tunneled planing hull with a larger displacement has a superior resistance performance.The numerical simulation of Reynolds Average Navier Stokes(RANS)equations based on the finite volume method is performed to analyze the hull characteristics in calm water(M=159.5 kg)with two degrees of freedom(sinkage and trim).The numerical results are compared with the experimental data,which shows good agreement.Pressure distribution,wave profiles and lift forces obtained by SST k-ωand Realizable k-εturbulence models are compared and discussed.Finally,the local fluid flow of streamline around the hull can be divided into four regions due to the presence of a tunnel,which is different from the behaviors of the conventional planing monohull with prismatic form. 展开更多

In this paper,an improved spatio-temporal alignment measurement method is presented to address the inertial matching measurement of hull deformation under the coexistence of time delay and large misalignment angle.Large misalignment angle and time delay often occur simultaneously and bring great challenges to the accurate measurement of hull deformation in space and time.The proposed method utilizes coarse alignment with large misalignment angle and time delay estimation of inertial measurement unit modeling to establish a brand-new spatiotemporal aligned hull deformation measurement model.In addition,two-step loop control is designed to ensure the accurate description of dynamic deformation angle and static deformation angle by the time-space alignment method of hull deformation.The experiments illustrate that the proposed method can effectively measure the hull deformation angle when time delay and large misalignment angle coexist. 展开更多

随着间歇性能源接入电网,电网的潮流具有一定的随机性。考虑高压输电网中直流潮流的不确定性问题,文中提出了一种带预处理的区间Hull(P-Hull)算法来求解区间直流潮流。该方法首先通过预处理,形成主对角占优的区间系数矩阵,然后利用区间H... 随着间歇性能源接入电网,电网的潮流具有一定的随机性。考虑高压输电网中直流潮流的不确定性问题,文中提出了一种带预处理的区间Hull(P-Hull)算法来求解区间直流潮流。该方法首先通过预处理,形成主对角占优的区间系数矩阵,然后利用区间Hull算法得到系数H-矩阵。为了提高结果的精度,分别利用向上近似和向下近似方法处理H-矩阵的比较矩阵,进而采用迭代方法求得区间直流潮流分布的上下界。采用9节点系统,将文中所提出的算法与蒙特卡洛算法进行比较,揭示了误差主要受网络参数不确定性的影响。此外,采用IEEE 57和IEEE 118节点系统分别对P-Hull算法、区间Hull算法、Krawczyk算子迭代法以及高斯消去法在精度和计算时间上进行比较分析,可以看出P-Hull算法能够得到最高的精度,并且其时间复杂度远小于蒙特卡洛算法。 展开更多

鉴定和克隆水稻花器官突变体新基因,对了解水稻花器官发育的分子遗传机制和分子信号调控途径有重要作用。本研究报道了1个水稻颖壳异常突变体,来源于EMS(ethyl methane sulfonate)处理的缙恢10号(Oryzasativa)诱变群体,暂被命名为degrad... 鉴定和克隆水稻花器官突变体新基因,对了解水稻花器官发育的分子遗传机制和分子信号调控途径有重要作用。本研究报道了1个水稻颖壳异常突变体,来源于EMS(ethyl methane sulfonate)处理的缙恢10号(Oryzasativa)诱变群体,暂被命名为degrade dhull2(dh2)。表型分析发现突变体小花第1轮内稃或外稃横向细胞数目减少,导致内稃或外稃变窄而不能正常勾合,从而呈现开裂现象,其内3轮花器官均无明显变化。遗传分析表明该突变性状受1个隐性单基因控制。利用群体分离分析法(bulked segregation analysis,BSA),将DH2基因定位在第3染色体的IND-5和IND-14之间,遗传距离分别为0.99cM和1.49cM。该研究结果为DH2基因的图位克隆奠定了基础。 展开更多

This paper presents the design optimization of composite submersible cylindrical pressure hull subjected to 3 MPa hydrostatic pressure.The design optimization study is conducted for cross-ply layups[0_(s)/90_(t)/0_(u)],[0_(s)/90_(t)/0_(u)]s,[0_(s)/90_(t)]s and[90_(s)/0_(t)]s considering three uni-directional composites,i.e.Carbon/Epoxy,Glass/Epoxy,and Boron/Epoxy.The optimization study is performed by coupling a Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm(MOGA)and Analytical Analysis.Minimizing the buoyancy factor and maximizing the buckling load factor are considered as the objectives of the optimization study.The objectives of the optimization are achieved under constraints on the Tsai-Wu,Tsai-Hill and Maximum Stress composite failure criteria and on buckling load factor.To verify the optimization approach,optimization of one particular layup configuration is also conducted in ANSYS with the same objectives and constraints. 展开更多

This paper describes a design optimization study of the composite egg-shaped submersible pressure hull employing optimization and finite element analysis(FEA)tools as a first attempt to provide an optimized design of the composite egg-shaped pressure hull for manufacturing or further investigations.A total of 15 optimal designs for the composite egg-shaped pressure hull under hydrostatic pressure are obtained in terms of fibers’angles and the number of layers for 5 lay-up arrangements and 3 unidirectional(UD)composite materials.The optimization process is performed utilizing a genetic algorithm and FEA in ANSYS.The minimization of the buoyancy factor eB:FT is selected as the objective for the optimization under constraints on both material failure and buckling strength.Nonlinear buckling analysis is conducted for one optimal design considering both geometric nonlinearity and imperfections.A sensitivity study is also conducted to further investigate the influence of the design variables on the optimal design of the egg-shaped pressure hull. 展开更多

The 3D clearance of a high-speed train(HST) is critical to ensure the safety of railway transportation. Many studies have been conducted on the inspection of the clearance profile in railway operation based on the vision system, but few researchers have focused on the computation of the 3D clearance in the design phase of an HST. This paper summarizes the virtual 3D clearance computation of an HST based on model integration and the convex hull method. First, both the aerodynamic and kinetic analysis models of the HST are constructed. The two models are then integrated according to the corresponding relationship map, and an array of transformation matrixes of the HST is created to drive the designed model simulating the physical railway motion. Furthermore, the convex hull method is adopted to compute the 3D envelope of the moving train. Finally, the Hausdorff metric is involved in the measurement of the minimum clearance model and the 3D envelope model. In addition, the color map of the Hausdorff distance is established to verify that the designed shape of the HST meets the national standards. This paper provides an effective method to accurately calculate the 3D clearance for the shape design of an HST, which greatly reduces the development cost by minimizing the physical prototype that must be built. 展开更多

Suitability of S-Glass/carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite for submarine hull subjected to hydrostatic pressure has been investigated in the present study.Metallic materials have raised concerns owing to their decomposition due to low resistance towards salinity and hence polymer composites have been explored to showcase their mechanical stability to withstand transverse and impact loads.To this end,the mechanical properties of S-Glass/carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite were experimentally investigated and higher specific strength and stiffness of the composite in comparison to many metallic materials used for submarine hull were reported.The obtained experimental values were used for the static and dynamic crash analysis of the bow,stern and foil through Finite Element Analysis(FEA);where depth of travel was varied from sea surface level of 0-7000 m.Submarine assembly was later developed with the optimum shape and thickness of each part.We also report the nonlinear crash analysis upon impact at velocity ranging from 3 to 21 m/s.Besides,kinetic energy,acceleration peak and internal energy in struck submarine revealed that travel depth 1750 m and 3500 m is recommendable,more particularly,crash safety factor of the submarine is found to be within limit when submarine encounters crash at 1750 m. 展开更多
