The purpose of this study was to reveal the alternative effcient interaction between mowing height and mowing frequency in Kentucky bluegrass turf management. The Kentucky bluegrass cultivar 'Kenblue' (Poa pratensis L.) was used to evaluate the interactions of mowing heights (H1, H4 and H7) and mowing frequencies (F2, F5 and F8) on the performance of turfgrass and turf physiological responses under the feld condition. The results showed that the treatment of H7×F8 had perfect infuence on the turf texture, root elongation, and also enhanced soluble sugar and free proline content in plants. While, the turf quality, color, uniformity and the increasing tiller numbers were performed more superior in the treatment of H4×F5 than other treatments. In all the interacting treatments, the relation between leaf green index and number of shoots (dm2) was positively correlated, thus, it could be speculated that the proper mowing height with frequency had a strong impact on the increasing of turfgrass tillers. On the whole, the interaction of H4×F5 on turf quality was the most excellent treatment in this experiment.展开更多

A key feature of our approach has been the use of a simplified Random Volume Over Ground(RVOG) model that locally estimates forest height. The model takes TanDEM-X interferometric coherence amplitude as an input and uses an external Digital Surface Model(DSM) to account for local slope variations due to terrain topography in order to achieve accurate forest height estimation. The selection of DSM for use as a local slope reference is essential, as an inaccurate DSM will result in less accurate terrain-correction and forest height estimation. In this paper, we assessed TanDEM-X height estimates associated with scale variations in different DSMs used in the model over a remote sensing supersite in Petawawa, Canada. The DSMs used for assessments and comparisons included ASTER GDEM, ALOS GDSM, airborne DRAPE DSM, Canadian DSM and TanDEM-X DSM. Airborne Laser Scanning(ALS) data were used as reference for terrain slope and forest height comparisons. The results showed that, with the exception of the ASTER GDEM, all DSMs were sufficiently accurate for the simplified RVOG model to provide a satisfactory estimate of stand-level forest height. When compared to the ALS 95th height percentile, the modeled forest heights had R2 values greater than 80% and Root-Mean-Square Errors(RMSE)less than 2 m. For a close similarity in slope estimation with the ALS reference, coverage across Canada and open data access, the 0.75 arc-second(20 m) resolution Canadian DSM was selected as a preferred choice for the simplified RVOG model to provide TanDEM-X height estimation in Canada.展开更多

The research combined theoretical analysis, field measurement, and numerical simulation to analyze the influencing mechanism of key stratum. Moreover, the research results were verified by numerical simulation and indicate that the sub-key stratum is prone to be broken to form a "cantilever beam" structure rather than a stable hinged structure during the excavation of working faces with super great mining heights. When the "cantilever beam" structure is unstable, a low pressure will occur on the working face, and the overlying strata will subside simultaneously with the sub-key stratum to induce the breakage of the primary key stratum: the breakage will further trigger the periodic breakage of sub-key stratum, causing a greater load on the working face. Finally, steps, and strength of weighting in the working face vary to be great or small alternatively. This is the main reason explaining why the 1313 working face shows strong mine pressure manifestation. The results provide theoretical and practical experience for forecasting and controlling mine pressure manifestation.展开更多

Selection of an optimum height of release of the submunitions depends on the terminal parameters like forward throw, remaining velocity, impact angle and flight time. In this paper, the effects of initial firing conditions and height of release on terminal performance of submunitions discussed in detail. For different height of release, the relation between range and forward throw is also established & validated for a number of firing altitude and rocket configurations.展开更多

The tools utilized for the analysis of perturbed trajectories are weighting factor functions(WFFs) which are a special kind of sensitivity functions. WFFs are used for calculation of meteo ballistic elements mB(ballistic wind wB, virtual temperature tB, pressure pB, density rB, speed of sound a) as well. An effect of weapon system parameters can be incorporated into calculations through the reference height of trajectory-RHT.RHT are also calculated from WFFs. Methods based on RHT are far more effective than traditional methods that use weighting factors q.We have found that the existing theory of RHT has several shortcomings due to we created an improved theory of generalized RHT which represent a special sensitivity parameters of dynamical systems. Using this theory will improve methods for designing firing tables, fire control systems algorithms, and meteo message generation algorithms.展开更多

文摘In order to study the effects of ventilation modes and outlet height on the airflow field of a nursery piggery, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology was used to simulate the wind speed and temperature of an experimental pig house in the cold northern region. This study was conducted with simulation and a comparative analysis of transverse ventilation, longitudinal ventilation and roof air intake modes.Furthermore, the effects of the air outlet height of 0.7,0.6 and 0.5 m with the roof air inlet mode on the environment in the pig house were studied.Field experiments verified the model of roof air intake model. The results showed inadequate ventilation in both the vertical and horizontal ventilation. However, the airfield gradients were less variable and more balanced when using the rooftop air intake mode. The variation of outlet height significantly affected nursery pig houses’ airflow velocity and temperature.Roof air inlet mode with an outlet height of 0.7 m was better than the other two.The normalized mean square error (NMSE) of air velocity and temperature was less than 0.01,and the simulation analysis could genuinely reflect the distribution of the airflow field in the nursery.

文摘To analyze the influence of movement in shallow-buried working faces with large mining heights on mine pressure manifestation, the key stratum at a working face was categorised using the 1313 top-coal caving face with super great mining height under cover as a case study. The results provide theoretical and practical experience for forecasting and controlling mine pressure manifestation.

文摘This paper deals with the issue of preparation of the aiming angles with the use of tabular firing tables and needed determination of the ballistic elements μ_B(ballistic wind w_B,w_(xB),w_(ZB),ballistic(virtual) temperature τ_B.ballistic density p_B) from the standardized met messages. The weighting factors are used for the calculation of ballistic elements μ_B that are incorporated into the trajectory calculations characteristics of weapon and ammunition. Two different methodologies practically used in the praxis are analysed and compared. For the comparison of the two methodologies the reference height of trajectory determined from the weighting factor functions is employed. On the basis of the analyses conducted, the potential for further increase in accuracy of these aiming angles preparation methods is pointed out.
文摘Submunitions should exhibit optimum terminal performance at target end when released from certain pre-determined height. Selection of an optimum height of release of the submunitions depends on the terminal parameters like forward throw, remaining velocity, impact angle and flight time. In this paper, the effects of initial firing conditions and height of release on terminal performance of submunitions discussed in detail. For different height of release, the relation between range and forward throw is also established & validated for a number of firing altitude and rocket configurations.

文摘Projectile trajectories calculated under non-standard conditions are considered to be perturbed. Using this theory will improve methods for designing firing tables, fire control systems algorithms, and meteo message generation algorithms.
