Studies on Glutamine Synthetase Activity in Sugar Beet (BetavulgarisL.) under Different Levels of Nitrogen 被引量:1

It was shown from the experiment that glutamine synthetase activity (GSA) in both leaf blades and roots under different nitrogen levels rose rapidly to reach its peak from seedling stage to foliage rapid growth stage and declined to its lowest level at the latter stage of root rapid growth, and then increased slightly. GSA in leaf blades had positive correlation with nitrogen level during the whole period of growth. GSA in roots showed the same tendency as it in leaf blades at the early middle stage of growth, but at the latter stage of growth, no positive correlation was established. GSA in leaf blades was the strongest compared with crowns, petioles and roots, and could represent the highest enzyme activity of the whole plant. GSA had quadratic curvilinear correlation with root yield and sugar production. GSA in leaf blades had significant positive correlation with α-NH2-N at the foliage rapid growth stage. 展开更多

Eco-Friendly Fabrication of Selenium Nanoparticles by Solidstate Thermal Decomposition of SeCl4-L-Glutamine Precursor: Spectroscopic Characterizations

In this article, spherical black spots-like selenium metal nanoparticles were synthesized. Accordingly, this experimental work proposed an innovative facile, green, one-step and solvent-free strategy to a large scale synthesis of Se-NPs via thermal decomposition of green precursor. The Se(Ⅳ) L-glutamine precursor was prepared by solid state grinding using selenium(Ⅳ) tetrachloride, SeCl4, and L-glutamine for 2 hr without using any organic solvent. It was characterized by infrared spectroscopy, and micro analytical. The solid precursor compound was subsequently annealed in the muffle furnace at 300 ℃ for 3 hr in static air. Selenium NPs was resulted and well characterized using X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), FT-IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The FTIR and XRD data showed that the Se NPs is pure and has a good crystalline structure because no characteristic peaks of impurity were detected, while the SEM and TEM results showed that the obtained product is tiny, aggregated with spherical-like shape, narrow size distribution with an average size between 5~10 nm. Results show that the solid state thermal decomposition method is simple, eco-friendly, safe and suitable for preparation of SeNPs. This method can also be applied to synthesize nanoparticles pure metal and metal oxides. 展开更多

In this study,the typical northeast soybean varieties Dongnong 42(high protein),Dongnong 47(high fat)and Dongnong 52(mixed-use)were used as experimental materials and planted in pots.Foliar spraying 100,150 and 200 mg•L^(-1)LaCl_(3)solution,30,60 and 90 mg•L^(-1)CeCl_(3)solution and 40,60 and 70 mg•L^(-1)LaCl_(3)+CeCl_(3)mixed solution.To study the effects of different types and concentrations of rare earth on nitrate reductase activity,glutamine synthetase activity of soybean leaves and protein content of soybean grains.The results showed that spraying appropriate concentration of rare earth solution on the leaves could increase the activities of nitrate reductase and glutamine synthase in soybean functional leaves and the protein content of soybean grains.The protein content of the three types of soybean grains was significantly positively correlated with the activity of nitrate reductase and glutamine synthetase in the leaves. 展开更多
