The Chinese obsolete electric and electronic equipments (EEE) recycling and disposal system on the point of view of legislation, education and dissemination were discussed, because of the highly increasing volume of electric and electronic products and that of its obsoletes today in China. The legislations and responsibilities of go- vernment, industry and consumer were discussed based on the balance of benefit and responsibility depending on the realization of their benefits in the whole life cycle of products and its status in the whole value chain. Not only the legislation and establishment of the so called “compulsory discarding system” will be a possible and effective solution to the difficulty of the obsolete collection and recycling for obsolete electric and electronic reclaiming industry, but also the education and dissemination. Education and dissemination were discussed as an important role which will emphasize the adjusting of policy and law on the development of electric and electronic industry production and its reclaiming. The education of stockholders’ environmental responsibility and the advocating of responsibility sharing should be implement for industry and consumer. Chinese EEE industry should emphasize the control of natural source, and should implement the environmental benign design in their production, such as design for dismantling, no dismantling, thermal treatment and green design. The perspectives for the way to advocate a harmonic society for Chinese people were described. 展开更多

Global citizenship as an idea has become an increasingly important issue on the educational agenda since the late 1970's. The importance allotted to this issue is clear in the attention given to it by for example UNESCO where global citizenship education(GCED) is an area of strategic focus. Increasingly schools all over the world are attempting to or expected to educate the global citizen, but how exactly do you educate the global citizen? What does this global citizenship consist of? While surely the type of training and education needed to train a global citizen will vary greatly depending on culture, pedagogical approach and various other factors, it is also a question worth asking, whether ‘global citizenship'is one and the same all over the world, or whether we should come to terms with the idea that the way global citizenship is practiced in different environments may vary greatly. Another question that begs an answer is whether it is at all possible to be citizens of the world in the same way that we are citizens of a country. While some may dismiss global citizenship as a mere linguistic fancy, there is also evidence,which this paper will attempt to discuss in a preliminary way, that it is possible to develop a feeling of global citizenship in a society. However, it is very important to keep in mind that global citizenship education as treated in the literature so far has been quite Eurocentric(this includes North America). A survey of research on GCED found that two thirds of the research published after 2000 was written by researchers based in the US and if you add other English-speaking countries such as Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand, the proportion is even higher.English in the field of education research often serves as the international lingua franca. Since there is also a tendency among English speaking academics to not be able to read many other languages, the material that would be published about GCED in Chinese, Japanese or Arabic, for example, would have much less global impact than the material published or translated into English, so material in English is likely to have a relatively larger impact than material in most other languages. 展开更多

Objective:Existing research shows that psychotherapists may experience secondary trauma and burnout,often neglecting self-care.This study aims to examine the effectiveness of self-care education in enhancing self-care efficacy among psychotherapists and explore factors affecting improvements in their self-care abilities.Methods:A self-care workshop was conducted for 159 psychotherapists from various fields.Participants’demographic information and self-care ability data were collected.The Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESCA)was used to assess the participant’s self-care levels before and after the workshop.Results:Post-workshop,ESCA total scores and subscale scores of participants showed significant increases(all P<0.001).Notably,score improvement levels differed by gender and years of practice,with female therapists showing greater improvement than male therapists(t=2.069,P=0.040)and those with longer work experience showing greater improvement than those with shorter experience(F=2.537,P=0.042).Conclusion:Providing self-care education for psychotherapists is essential.Future self care education programs or interventions for psychotherapists should consider gender and work experience factors to better support their self-care enhancement. 展开更多

In uncovering the mechanisms of teaching critical thinking in China,scholars tend to ignore the re-quirement of rational thinking in teaching. Based on the discussion of rational presuppositions of critical thinking in Western cultures, this article argues that, while Western critical thinking presets a kind of rationality which is biased to-wards descriptive logic rather than prescriptive logic, the virtue - centered traditional Chinese culture cultivates a gener-al habit of using methods of prescriptive logic. Descriptive logic accounts for “how to get” true judgments while pre- scriprive logic aims at explaining “why a true judgment is true”. Critical thinking education in China should pay more attention to the role descriptive logic plays. The fact that the new - media infomiarion disseminarion is deepening in- tercultiiral communication makes it necessary to implement critical thinking education in China,but the implementa-tion should be focused on cultivating the students* ability to organize discourse in a logical way. 展开更多

There is almost universal faith in "innovation capability", which can realize creations with obvioussocial values, and a knowledge-based needs such creation. The crux of the problem herein is to developinnovation capability and offer a good environment for those creation-driven persons in order to facilitate themto play their roles. The creativity hence is equated with a technical, instrumental existence, and innovationcapability therefore is understood as something with creativity for ever. This kind of research cannot wellunderstand the social nature of innovation, and would lead to our over-dependence on those technical factorsin the matter of innovation of education. In our opinion, the longing for innovation is not only the need of theknowledge-based society, but the need of the whole modern society. As Schumpeter argues, between the growthand the development there is not an absolute gap, where seemingly insignificant may exit a truly earthshakingpower. Our ultimate aim is to build an educational theory of innovation based upon the social nature of innovation,that is, to build a meta-theory of the sharing framework of the action of educational innovation. 展开更多

With the rapid development of big data,online education can use big data technology to achieve personalized and intelligent education as well as improve learning effect and user satisfaction.In this study,the users of The Open University of China online education platform were taken as the research object,their user behavior data was collected,cleaned,and analyzed with text mining.The RFM model and the improved K-Means algorithm were used to construct the user portrait of the platform group and the needs and preferences of different types of the users were analyzded.Chinese word segmentation was used to show the key words of different types of users and the word cloud of their using frequency.The focus of different user groups was determined to facilitate for the follow-up course recommendation and precision marketing.Experimental results showed that the improved K-Means algorithm can well depict the behavior of group users.The index of silhouette score was improved to 0.811 by the improved K-Means algorithm,from random uncertainty to a fixed value,which can effectively solve the problem of inconsistent results caused by outlier sample points. 展开更多
