In hydrochloric acid, cucurbituril is the most soluble one, and cucurbituril is the least soluble one. There is no significant influence of alkaline metal ion on the solubility of cucurbiturils. The solubility of cucurbituril increases greatly in a SrCl2 solution. However, increase of weight of cucurbiturils suggest that cucurbiturils can catch Ba2+in a solution.展开更多

The cleavage mechanism was proposed that was a cooperation process of the CB[6] molecule and the guest BIMH molecule. In this mechanism, the protonated imidazole might bind DNA via the electrostatic interactions and the CB[6] glycoluril carbonyl oxygen atoms activated a water molecule to attack the phosphorus atom.展开更多
The inclusion properties of α-naphthol,β-naphthol with cucurbit[6]uril and cucurbit[7]uril were studied by fluoremetry,respectively.The experimental results showed that inclusion complex of α-naphthol/cucurbit[6]ur...The inclusion properties of α-naphthol,β-naphthol with cucurbit[6]uril and cucurbit[7]uril were studied by fluoremetry,respectively.The experimental results showed that inclusion complex of α-naphthol/cucurbit[6]uril,α-naphthol/cucurbit[7]uril and β-naphthol/ cucurbit[7]uril were formed with a ratio of 1:2,and their inclusion constants were 2.01×104,1.59×107,and 7.80×106,respectively.The thermodynamic function of the inclusion complex was determined by Benes-Hildebrand double-reciprocal method,ΔGθ =-41.7 kJ·mol-1,ΔHθ=66.6 kJ·mol-1 and ΔSθ=354.8 J·mol-1·K-1.According to the thermodymamic parameters,ΔGθ<0,it indicated that the inclusion process was a spontaneous reaction.ΔHθ>0,it was a endotherm reaction;ΔSθ>0,it was a process of molecular randomness enhanced.展开更多

One dimensional supramolecular tubes are formed from the encapsulates A, and two dimensional molecular sieves are formed from the encapsulates B, the tubes and the sieves stack together alternately in the self-assembled entities.
