The application of computer simulation technique to electronic controlled fuel injection(EFI) engine was studied to increase the development speed and improve the overall performance of the engine and car. On the basis of an EFI system developed by ourselves, the simulation model of the initial control data and engine operation points during a driving cycle and the car performance pridiction model were established. This method was applied to a mini car. The experiment showed that the simulated control data has good accuracy; and the engine test points and car performances obtained by simulation are useful for the matching of EFI system with gasoline engine and the development speed is increased. 展开更多

A major motivation for this work is to investigate a method of computer simulation for compensating fixed pattern noise of the infrared focal plane arrays. A mathematical model of the output signal of focal plane array was established; a compensating algorithm utilizing reference source was derived and simulating programs were designed. The images of compensating process verify the influence of nonuniformity of responsibility and offset on fixed pattern noise. The result show that simulating method of investigating compensation technology for focal plane arrays is feasible, the generated images and methods can be used to the study of image recognition. 展开更多

In order to study the evacuation behavior of miners during accidents,we analyzed the rational layout of a safe chamber,and improved evacuation efficiency.A visual model of evacuation was developed and used to simulate the evacuation process of mines,given their special underground environments.In our simulation,the working faces of a coal mine and nearby tunnels were divided into 0.5 m×0.5 m grids to reflect the location of occupants and obstacles.Based on a "flow potential of the occupant",we determined the direction of movement and routes of occupants.In the model,evacuation speed changed as a function of crowd density,with an average speed of 1.30 m/s.The model also takes into account detection time of the disaster and the personnel response time.Evacuation time,exit flow rate and evacuation path were obtained by simulation.The results indicate that using simulation technology can present a more visual evacuation process and show the behavior of occupants.Our establishment of a mine safety evacuation system has merit as reference value. 展开更多

This paper presents the use of a computer method of the ventilation process simulation for the analysis of the flow distribution of air and gases in the area of wall mining work and the adjacent goaf.In workings and goaf,the complex issue of the formation of a gaseous atmosphere under variable ventilation conditions and an existing fire hazard level,with the possibility of feeding goaf with an additional carbon dioxide flux as the inertizing agent is considered.Some examples of the simulation of feeding goaf with carbon dioxide illustrating the different patterns of the distribution of the goaf atmosphere gases concentration,said distribution patterns being gas supply place dependent,have been presented.In addition,the impact of the additional sealing of goaf on the distribution level of the concentration of gases,the said sealing made from the wall side with chemical agents has also been considered.The capabilities of the VentGoaf computer simulation program,being the basis for our calculations,enable consideration of the use of the inert gases supplied to the goaf depending on: the location of the gas feeding the pipe outlet,tightness of the fire field,fire centre location,and spatial situation of the mined wall.It has been found that fire prevention elements,such as chemical sealing agents,are of great impact on the effectiveness of fire prevention. 展开更多

The segregation level ofphosphorus with solution temperature 1 050 ℃ at the isothermal holding temperature of 5401 , havebeen measured at grain-boundaries. A non-equilibrium grain-boundary segregation kinetics curve ofphosphorus is given. The critical time for phosphorus non-equilibrium grain-boundary segregation isabout 500h at 540 ℃ for the experimental steel. When the holding time is longer than 1 500 h ,non-equilibrium segregation disappears and the level of segregation reaches full equilibrium. Thesimulation using the kinetic equations of non-equilibrium grain-boundary segregation is in goodaccordance with the experimental observation for phosphorus in steel 12Crl MoV. The non-equilibriumgrain-boundary segregation kinetic model is therefore proved. 展开更多

These methods may cause large errors in pressure balancing so that sometimes the spontaneous combustion can not be extinguished effectively. This paper introduces a quantitative analysis of pressure balancing for different causes of ventilation networks and develops a computer program (SPFPB) specifically written for pressure balancing between faces and connected gobs. It allows a user to choose different metheds to meet his various needs and the underground conditions. The different balancing results are compared, and the proper locations and sizes of the control devices are recommended. 展开更多

A computer-based simulation and test system is developed. This system has the following functions: producing the initial control MAP with good accuracy, calibrating the electronic control unit (ECU) on-line, (identifying) the dynamic transfer functions for air/fuel ratio, idle speed and ignition timing control. So the experiment work is reduced and the calibration is accelerated. In order to increase the simulation accuracy of the initial control MAP, the mathematical models are not only based on theoretical equations, but also on the control data of reference working points, which is obtained by the on-line calibration of special engines. The application of this system on a mini-car shows that the simulated control MAP has good accuracy, the interface of the system is friendly, the integrated simulation and test system is a powerful aid for EFI engine calibration and the development speed is accelerated. 展开更多

Methods \ In the light of basic theory of multibody system dynamics and impact dynamics on the basis of classical theory of impact, R W method is adopted to construct the vehicle occupant system model consisting of fourteen rigid bodies, thirty seven DOFs and slip joints for the simulation. A software named SVC3D(3 dimensional simulation of vehicle crash) is developed in the FORTRAN language. Results\ The results of simulation have a good coincidence with those of tests and the restraint system with low elongation webbing and equipped with pretensioner provides better restraint effect for the occupant. Conclusion\ The model of vehicle occupant multibody system and SVC3D are suitable for use. Occupant should be belted with low elongation webbing to a certain degree and occupant restraint system should be equipped with pretensioner. 展开更多

According to the evolutions of mean square displacement and local atom packing, the coalescence process can be separated into three stages including an approaching stage, a coalescing stage, and a coalesced stage. Metal–organic gel(MOG)derived composites are promising multi-functional materials due to their alterable composition,identifiable chemical homogeneity,tunable shape,and porous structure.Herein,stable metal–organic hydrogels are prepared by regulating the complexation effect,solution polarity and curing speed.Meanwhile,collagen peptide is used to facilitate the fabrication of a porous aerogel with excellent physical properties as well as the homogeneous dispersion of magnetic particles during calcination.Subsequently,two kinds of heterometallic magnetic coupling systems are obtained through the application of Kirkendall effect.FeCo/nitrogen-doped carbon(NC)aerogel demonstrates an ultra-strong microwave absorption of−85 dB at an ultra-low loading of 5%.After reducing the time taken by atom shifting,a FeCo/Fe3O4/NC aerogel containing virus-shaped particles is obtained,which achieves an ultra-broad absorption of 7.44 GHz at an ultra-thin thickness of 1.59 mm due to the coupling effect offered by dual-soft-magnetic particles.Furthermore,both aerogels show excellent thermal insulation property,and their outstanding radar stealth performances in J-20 aircraft are confirmed by computer simulation technology.The formation mechanism of MOG is also discussed along with the thermal insulation and electromagnetic wave absorption mechanism of the aerogels,which will enable the development and application of novel and lightweight stealth coatings. 展开更多

Density of excess modes below the first phonon mode in four-dimensional glasses

Glasses are known to possess low-frequency excess modes beyond the Debye prediction.For decades,it has been assumed that evolution of low-frequency density of excess modes D(ω) with frequency ω follows a power-law scaling:D(ω)~ω~γ.However,it remains debated on the value of γ at low frequencies below the first phonon-like mode in finitesize glasses.Early simulation studies reported γ=4 at low frequencies in two-(2D),three-(3D),and four-dimensional(4D)glasses,whereas recent observations in 2D and 3D glasses suggested γ=3.5 in a lower-frequency regime.It is uncertain whether the low-frequency scaling of D(ω)~ω^(3.5) could be generalized to 4D glasses.Here,we conduct numerical simulation studies of excess modes at frequencies below the first phonon-like mode in 4D model glasses.It is found that the system size dependence of D(ω) below the first phonon-like mode varies with spatial dimensions:D(ω) increases in2D glasses but decreases in 3D and 4D glasses as the system size increases.Furthermore,we demonstrate that the ω^(3.5)scaling,rather than the ω~4 scaling,works in the lowest-frequency regime accessed in 4D glasses,regardless of interaction potentials and system sizes examined.Therefore,our findings in 4D glasses,combined with previous results in 2D and 3D glasses,suggest a common low-frequency scaling of D(ω)~ ω^3.5) below the first phonon-like mode across different spatial dimensions,which would inspire further theoretical studies. 展开更多

This paper describes a new method for simulation of the cross section shape of log. The self-developed MQK3102 log shape recognizing machine was used to acquire the finite discrete sampling points on the cross section of log and those points were fitted with the quadratic B-spline parametric curve. This method can clearly stimulate the real shape of the log cross section and is characterized by limited sampling points and high speed computing. The computed result of the previous curve does not affect the next one, which may avoid the graphic distortion caused by the accumulative error. The method can be used to simulate the whole body shape of log approximately by sampling the cross sections along the length direction of log, thus providing a reference model for optimum saw cutting of log. 展开更多

The model can synthetically describe the dynamic behavior of the load of slewing crane in rotating, elevating and hoisting motions. The dynamic equations of the system are recursively derived by a Newton Euler method. The dynamic behavior of the load of slewing crane in rotating motion is simulated on a computer. The method of robotic dynamics to derive the dynamic equations of the swing of load is accurate and convenient and it has good regularity. The result of the study provides a base in theory on design of crane and an accurate mathematical model for controlling the swing of load. 展开更多

It is based on the fact that LMS algorithm has properties of time delaying and low pass filtering. This paper shows that the algorithm, on the domain of {Ω 1:α∈(0,1)}×{Ω 2:β(0,∞)} , unbiasedly and asymptotically converges to the Winner solution when the signal is a stationary Gauss stochastic process. The convergent property and the performance misadjustment are analyzed in theory. And calculation method of the algorithm is also suggested. A fast U D factorization based Kalman filter for the 21 state integrated global positioning system and inertial navigation system (GPS/INS) is developed from the point of engineering implementation. The conventional Kalman filter is widely used for integration of GPS/INS, however, due to the model and numerical computation errors, the Kalman filter may diverge in engineering implementation. In order to solve this problem, an extended Kalman filter based on the U D factorization is proposed. Moreover, the high order integrated system suffers from the problem of long computation time, leading to difficulties in real time applications. An algorithmic approach is developed to improve the computational speed. A typical aircraft trajectory is simulated to compare the improvement in the computational speed and the navigation accuracy using the conventional Kalman filter and the fast Kalman filter based on the U D factorization. The results indicate that the methods proposed in this paper are very effective in overcoming these problems for the high dynamic integrated GPS/INS system. 展开更多

The three-dimensional Navier Stokes equation and the k-ε viscous model are used to simulate the attack angle characteristics of a hemisphere nose-tip with an opposing jet thermal protection system in supersonic flow conditions. The numerical method is validated by the relevant experiment. The flow field parameters, aerodynamic forces, and surface heat flux distributions for attack angles of 0°, 2°, 5°, 7°, and 10° are obtained. The detailed numerical results show that the cruise attack angle has a great influence on the flow field parameters, aerodynamic force, and surface heat flux distribution of the supersonic vehicle nose-tip with an opposing jet thermal protection system. When the attack angle reaches 10°, the heat flux on the windward generatrix is close to the maximal heat flux on the wall surface of the nose-tip without thermal protection system, thus the thermal protection has failed. 展开更多
