Research on multi-scale simulation and dynamic verification of high dynamic MEMS components in additive manufacturing 被引量:1

Metal Additive Manufacturing(MAM) technology has become an important means of rapid prototyping precision manufacturing of special high dynamic heterogeneous complex parts. In response to the micromechanical defects such as porosity issues, significant deformation, surface cracks, and challenging control of surface morphology encountered during the selective laser melting(SLM) additive manufacturing(AM) process of specialized Micro Electromechanical System(MEMS) components, multiparameter optimization and micro powder melt pool/macro-scale mechanical properties control simulation of specialized components are conducted. The optimal parameters obtained through highprecision preparation and machining of components and static/high dynamic verification are: laser power of 110 W, laser speed of 600 mm/s, laser diameter of 75 μm, and scanning spacing of 50 μm. The density of the subordinate components under this reference can reach 99.15%, the surface hardness can reach 51.9 HRA, the yield strength can reach 550 MPa, the maximum machining error of the components is 4.73%, and the average surface roughness is 0.45 μm. Through dynamic hammering and high dynamic firing verification, SLM components meet the requirements for overload resistance. The results have proven that MEM technology can provide a new means for the processing of MEMS components applied in high dynamic environments. The parameters obtained in the conclusion can provide a design basis for the additive preparation of MEMS components. 展开更多

As a kind of high-efficiency explosive with compound destructive capability, the energy output law of thermobaric explosives has been receiving great attention. In order to investigate the effects of main components on the explosive characteristics of thermobaric explosives, various high explosives and oxidants were selected to formulate five different types of thermobaric explosive. Then they were tested in both open space and closed space respectively. Pressure measurement system, high-speed camera,infrared thermal imager and multispectral temperature measurement system were used for pressure,temperature and fireball recording. The effects of different components on the explosive characteristics of thermobaric explosive were analyzed. The results showed that in open space, the overpressure is dominated by the high explosives content in the formulation. The addition of the oxidants will decrease the explosion overpressure but will increase the duration and overall brightness of the fireball. While in closed space, the quasi-static pressure formed after the explosion is positively correlated with the temperature and gas production. In addition, it was found that the differences in shell constraints can also alter the afterburning reaction of thermobaric explosives, thus affecting their energy output characteristics. PVC shell constraint obviously increases the overpressure and makes the fireball burn more violently. 展开更多

Humic acids can promote the germination of many vegetable seeds,but the key active components remain unclear.This study utilized nutrient content,cross polarization magic angle spin ^(13)C solid magnetic resonance(CPMAS-^(13)C-NMR)and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(UHPLC-MS)to characterize the chemical components of humic acids.Tomato seed germination index(GI)was determined with the goal of screening the key active components of humic acids.Humic acids had a significantly higher nutrient content,except for the total nitrogen(TN)and the total phosphorus(TP)contents.Humic acids had a higher content of O-CH_(3)/NCH,aromatic C-O and carbonyl C compared to weathered coal,with significantly lower anomeric C,aromatic C and O-alkyl C/alkyl C.There were 611 different compounds identified among the test materials using UHPLC-MS.Humic acids also had a significantly higher GI(158.0%and 153.1%)than weathered coal(85.5%).The organic matter(OM),TP and available potassium(AK)contents in humic acids were significantly positively correlated with GI,and available phosphorus(AP)was significantly negatively correlated.Among the carbon components,O-CH3/NCH,aromatic C-O and O-alkyl C/alkyl C were significantly positively correlated with GI,while anomeric C was significantly negatively correlated.Furthermore,among the top 10 positive and five negative correlation compounds,lipids and lipid-like molecules[armexifolin,boviquinone 4,3-methyladipic acid,lxocarpalactone A,monic acid,DG(20:1(11Z)/18:4(6Z,9Z,12Z,15Z)/0:0),and brassinolide]and organic acids and derivatives(N-acetylglutamic acid,8-hydroxy-5,6-octadienoic acid,acetyl-L-tyrosine,and hydroxyprolyl-methionine)in humic acids might be crucial active components for improving tomato seed germination.The results provided direct evidence for the identification of bioactive molecules of humic acids,and a scientific basis for the precise utilization of bioactive molecular components of humic acids in sustainable agricultural development. 展开更多

A combined model based on principal components analysis (PCA) and generalized regression neural network (GRNN) was adopted to forecast electricity price in day-ahead electricity market. PCA was applied to mine the main influence on day-ahead price, avoiding the strong correlation between the input factors that might influence electricity price, such as the load of the forecasting hour, other history loads and prices, weather and temperature; then GRNN was employed to forecast electricity price according to the main information extracted by PCA. To prove the efficiency of the combined model, a case from PJM (Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland) day-ahead electricity market was evaluated. Compared to back-propagation (BP) neural network and standard GRNN, the combined method reduces the mean absolute percentage error about 3%. 展开更多

The deformation performance index limits of high reinforced concrete (RC) shear wall components based on Chinese codes were discussed by the nonlinear finite element method. Two typical RC shear wall specimens in the previous work were first used to verify the correctness of the nonlinear finite element method. Then, the nonlinear finite element method was applied to study the deformability of a set of high RC shear wall components designed according to current Chinese codes and with shear span ratio λ≥2.0. Parametric studies were made on the influence of shear span ratio, axial compression ratio, ratio of flexural capacity to shear capacity and main flexural reinforcement ratio of confined botmdary members. Finally, the deformation performance index and its limits of high RC shear wall components under severe earthquakes were proposed by the finite element model results, which offers a reference in determining the performance status of RC shear wall components designed based on Chinese codes. 展开更多

This work aims to find the optimal number of components which should be replaced by new-type units, under budgetary constraints. In this work, the new challenger unit is characterized by lower energy consumption and the optimization steps are based on genetic algorithm (GA). The result shows the importance of this type of replacement in order to economize energy consumption and to deal with obsolescence. 展开更多

This trial was conducted to evaluate the effect of quercetin on egg quality and components in laying hens of different weeks. A total of 240 healthy Hessian laying hens at 29, 39-week-old with similar body weight and laying rate were randomly divided into four groups with six replicates of 10 each replicate, respectively. The treatments were fed with basal diet supplemented with 0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 g-kg-1 quercetin for 8 weeks. The results showed that compared with the control, broken or soft shell rate significantly decreased at 0.2 and 0.4 g.kg-1 quercetin and eggshell thickness significantly increased at 0.4 g.kg-1 quercetin (P〈0.01) in laying hens at 39-47 weeks old; yolk protein significantly decreased at 0.6 g kg-1 quercetin (P〈0.05) in laying hens at 29-37 weeks old; while yolk protein significantly increased at three quercetin treatments in laying hens at 39-47 weeks old; yolk cholesterol significantly decreased by quercetin in laying hens at 29-37 weeks old (P〈0.05); yolk total phospholipids significantly increased at 0.4 and 0.6 g kg-1 quercetin (P〈0.01) and yolk cholesterol significantly decreased at 0.6 g kg-1 quercetin (P〈0.05) in laying hens at 39-47 weeks old. In a word, quercetin affected egg quality and components to some extents in laying hens of different weeks, the older the hens became, the better improvement they would be. The optimum level of quercetin was 0.4 g kg-1 in the basal diet. 展开更多

Introduction The endothelial cells(ECs)lining every blood vessel wall constantly expose to the mechanical forces generated by the blood flow.The EC responses to these hemodynamic forces play a critical role in the homeostasis of the circulatory system.In addition to forming a transport barrier between the blood and vessel wall,vascular ECs play important roles in regulating circulation functions.Besides biochemical stimuli,blood flow induced(hemodynamic)mechanical stimuli,such as shear stress,pressure and circumferential stretch,modulate EC morphology and functions by activating mechanosensors,signaling pathways,and gene and protein expressions.The EC responses to the hemodynamic forces(mechano-sensing and transduction)are critical to maintaining normal vascular functions.Failure in the mechano-sensing and transduction leads to serious vascular diseases including hypertension,atherosclerosis,aneurysms and thrombosis,to name a few[1].On the luminal surface of our blood vessels,there is a thin layer called endothelial surface glycocalyx(ESG)which consists of proteoglycans,glycosaminoglycans(GAGs)and glycoproteins.The GAGs in the ESG are heparan sulfate(HS),hyaluronic acid(HA),chondroitin sulfate(CS),and sialic acid(SA)[2].In order to play important roles in vascular functions,such as being a mechanosensor and transducer for the endothelial cells(ECs)to sense the blood flow,a molecular sieve to maintain normal microvessel permeability and a barrier between the circulating cells and endothelial cells forming the vessel wall,the ESG should have an organized structure at the molecular level.Due to the limitations of optical and electron microscopy,the ultra-structure and organization of ESG has not been revealed until recent development of a super high resolution fluorescence optical microscope,STORM(Stochastic Optical Reconstruction Microscopy).The diffraction of a single fluorescence molecule can be described as the point spread function(PSF).When the light of wavelengthλexcites the fluorophore(emitter),the intensity profile of the spot is defined as the PSF with the width^0.6λ/NA,NA is the numerical aperture of the objective.The diffraction-limited image resolution,for a high numerical aperture objective lens,is^200 nm in the lateral direction and^500 nm in the axial direction,for a conventional fluorescence microscope.The key idea of the single-molecule localization microscopy is to light the molecule,in turn,to achieve the nanometer-level accuracy of their position and reconstruction into a super-resolution image,such as STORM.STORM employs photo-switching mechanisms to stochastically activate individual molecules(photo-switchable or photoactivatable fluorophores)within the diffraction-limited region at different times.Then images with sub-diffraction limit resolution are reconstructed from the measured positions of individual fluorophores[3].To trade the super spatial resolution(accuracy),STORM sacrifices its temporal resolution(efficiency)by switching the state and sequentially exciting the emitters at a high density.Rust et al[3]employed organic dyes and fluorescent proteins as photo-switchable emitters to trade temporal resolution for a super spatial resolution(~20 nm lateral and^50 nm axial at present,can go down to a couple of nanometers if using smaller peptides or antibody fragments instead of currently used whole anti-bodies),which is an order of magnitude higher than conventional confocal microscopy.In the current study,we employed STORM to reveal the major ultra-structural components of the ESG,HS and HA,and their organization at the surface of the cultured EC monolayer[4].Materials and methods We used newly acquired Nikon-STORM system to observe the ESG on in vitro EC(bEnd3,mouse brain microvascular endothelial cells)monolayers.After confluency,the bEnd3 cells were immunolabeled with anti-HS,fol-lowed by an ATT0488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG,and with biotinylated HA binding protein,followed by an AF647 conjugated anti-biotin.The ESG was then imaged by the STORM with a 100x/1.49 oil immersed lens.Multiple Reporters of ATT0488 and AF647 with alternating illumination were used to acquire the 3D images of HS and HA.The field of 256×256(40×40μm2)of HS and HA at the surface of ECs was obtained based on totally 40,000 of EM-CCD captured images for each reporter at a capturing speed of 19 ms/frame.Results HA is a long molecule weaving into a network which covers the endothelial luminal surface.The diameter of the HA segments is 185.3±44.7 nm,155.5±57.2 nm,and 156.9±56.1 nm,respectively,at the top,middle and bottom regions of the cell luminal surface.In contrast,HS is a shorter molecule,perpendicular to the cell surface.HA and HS are partially overlapped with each other at the endothelial luminal surface.We quantified the length,diameter,orientation,and density of HS at the top,middle and bottom regions of the endothelial surface.The diameter of the observed HS is 191.0±46.0 nm,284.3±71.1 nm,and 184.2±59.6 nm,and the length of the HS is 621.0±75.7 nm,651.0±118.0 nm,and 575.2±105.6 nm,respectively,at the top,middle and bottom regions of the cell luminal surface.For the HS orientation,its angle with the cell surface is 92.9±1.9,88.7±8.2,and 96.2±10.9 degree,respectively,at the top,middle and bottom regions.The angle of 90 degree is perfectly perpendicular to the cell surface.For the HS distribution,the average density is0.398 elements/μm2,0.345 elements/μm2 and 0.665 elements/μm2,respectively,and the distance between the adjacent HS is 1 694.4±628.1 nm,1 844.8±758.5 nm,and 1 221.9±450.7 nm,respectively,at the top,middle and bottom regions.Conclusions Our results suggest that HS plays a major role in mechanosensing and HA plays a major role in the molecular sieve,due to their organization,ultra-structure and distribution. 展开更多

LW-AFC and its active components ameliorate corticosterone-induced long-term potentiation impairment in mice

OBJECTIVE LW-AFC is extracted from the classical traditional Chinese medicinal prescription-Liuwei Dihuang Decoction.Previous studies have showed that LW-AFC could improve learning&memory ability in amny animal models.In this study,we focused on evaluating the effect of several main active components fromLW-AFC(B-B;loganin,LOG;morroniside,MOR;paeoniflorin,PF and stachyose,STA)on LTP.METHODS In vivo recording of LTP was used in this study to evaluate the effects of LW-AFC and it′s active components on coticorsterone(Cort)induced LTP impairment.RESULTS The results showed that LW-AFC could ameliorate Cort-induced LTP impairment.The effect of LW-AFC was abolished when the immune function was inhibited.Single administration(ig,ip,icv)of any of the components had no effect on Cort-induced LTP impairment.Consecutively intragastric administration or intraperitoneal injections(chronic administration)of B-B,LOG,MOR or PF for 7 d showed protective effect on Cort-induced LTP impairment.Intragastric administration of STA for 7 d protected LTP from impairment induced by Cort,while there was little improving effect when STA was administrated via intraperitoneal injection.In addition,when the intestinal microbiota was disrupted by applying the antibiotic cocktail,STA showed little protective effect against Cort.CONCLUSION In conclusion,LW-AFC and it′s components showed positive effects against cort induced LTP impairment,it seems that all displayed protective effects via indirectly,immune modulation might be the common pathway for all components;the exact pathways are different in each component,B-B,LOG,MOR and PF could be absorbed into the bloods tream and then modulate the peripheral immune function,while STA could not be absorbed and modulates the immune function via modulating intestinal microbiota.Further studies are needed to invesgate the underlying mechanisms and the synergetic effects of all components. 展开更多

The results were as follows:1).There was no significant difference between left and right joints. 2).The contents of total protein, albumin, globulin in carpus were lower than that in tarsus but no significant difference. 3).The contents of protein, phosphorus and glucose in the serum were significant higher than that in synovia.
