As the performance of the box-type multiple launch rocket system(BMLRS)improves,its mechanical structures,particularly the plane clearance design between the slider on the rocket and the guide inside the launch canist...As the performance of the box-type multiple launch rocket system(BMLRS)improves,its mechanical structures,particularly the plane clearance design between the slider on the rocket and the guide inside the launch canister,have grown increasingly complex.However,deficiencies still exist in the current launch modeling theory for BMLRS.In this study,a multi-rigid-flexible-body launch dynamics model coupling the launch platform and rocket was established using the multibody system transfer matrix method and the Newton-Euler formulation.Furthermore,considering the bending of the launch canister,a detection algorithm for slider-guide plane clearance contact was proposed.To quantify the contact force and friction effect between the slider and guide,the contact force model and modified Coulomb model were introduced.Both the modal and launch tests were conducted.Additionally,the modal convergence was verified.By comparing the modal experiments and simulation results,the maximum relative error of the eigenfrequency is 3.29%.thereby verifying the accuracy of the developed BMLRS dynamics model.Furthermore,the launch test validated the proposed plane clearance contact model.Moreover,the study investigated the influence of various model parameters on the dynamic characteristics of BMLRS,including launch canister bending stiffness,slider and guide material,slider-guide clearance,slider length and layout.This analysis of influencing factors provides a foundation for future optimization in BMLRS design.展开更多
Objective:Augmented renal clearance(ARC),in contrast to renal dysfunction,refers to enhanced renal elimination of circulating solutes compared to the expected baseline.Although patients may present with normal serum c...Objective:Augmented renal clearance(ARC),in contrast to renal dysfunction,refers to enhanced renal elimination of circulating solutes compared to the expected baseline.Although patients may present with normal serum creatinine(Scr)levels,the incidence of ARC is high in intensive care unit(ICU)settings.ARC is associated with subtherapeutic exposure and treatment failure of renally cleared antibiotics.However,limited research exists on the incidence and risk factors of ARC in the ICU,and even fewer data are available specifically for neurological ICU(NICU).This study aims to determine the incidence and risk factors of ARC in neurocritically ill patients.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed all available Scr data of neurocritical care patients admitted to the NICU of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University between December 2020 and January 2023.Creatinine clearance(CrCl)was calculated using the Cockcroft-Gault equation.ARC was defined as a CrCl≥130 mL/(min·1.73 m^(2))sustained for more than 50%of the duration of the NICU stay.A total of 208 neurocritically ill patients were assigned into an ARC group(n=52)and a non-ARC(N-ARC)group(n=156).Clinical characteristics were compared between the 2 groups.Variables with P<0.05 in univariate analysis were included in binary Logistic regression to identify independent risk factors for ARC.Results:The incidence of ARC among neurocritically ill patients was 25.00%.Of the 74 patients with normal CrCl,20(27.03%)gradually developed ARC during hospitalization.Compared with the N-ARC group,the patients of the ARC group were younger(P<0.001),with a higher proportion of females(P=0.048)and a lower admission mean arterial pressure(MAP)(P=0.034).Moreover,patients of the ARC group were commonly complicated with severe bacterial infections compared with the patients of the N-ARC group(P<0.001).In binary Logistic regression analysis,younger age(OR=0.903,95%CI 0.872 to 0.935)and severe bacterial infections(OR=6.270,95%CI 2.568 to 15.310)were significant predictors of ARC.Conclusion:ARC is relatively common in the NICU.A considerable number of patients with initially normal renal function developed ARC during hospitalization.Younger age and concurrent severe bacterial infection are important risk factors of ARC in neurocritically ill patients.展开更多

The solution of differential governing equation of motion was solved by applying variable step-size Runge-Kutta numerical integration method. The system motion state was investigated systematically and qualitatively, and exhibited diverse characteristics of bifurcation and chaos as well as non-linear behavior under different bifurcation parameters including meshing frequency, sun-planet backlash, planet-ring backlash and sun gear's bearing clearance. Analysis results show that the increasing damping could suppress the region of chaotic motion and improve the system's stability significantly. The route of crisis to chaotic motion was observed under the bifurcation parameter of meshing frequency. However, the routes of period doubling and crisis to chaos were identified under the bifurcation parameter of sun-planet backlash; besides, several different types of routes to chaos were observed and coexisted under the bifurcation parameter of planet-ring backlash including period doubling, Hopf bifurcation, 3T-periodic channel and crisis. Additionally, planet-ring backlash generated a strong coupling effect to system's non-linear behavior while the sun gear's bearing clearance produced weak coupling effect. Finally, quasi-periodic motion could be found under all above–mentioned bifurcation parameters and closely associated with the 3T-periodic motion.展开更多
In this study,a modeling method for investigating the dynamic characteristics of a hydraulically driven shell manipulator with revolute clearance joints is presented.This model accounts for the effect of the clearance...In this study,a modeling method for investigating the dynamic characteristics of a hydraulically driven shell manipulator with revolute clearance joints is presented.This model accounts for the effect of the clearance,the flexibility of the rotating beam,and the coupled dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic cylinder.A modified contact force model was developed to simulate the physical properties of realistic revolute joints with small clearances,heavy loads,and variable contact stiffnesses and damping coefficients with variations of the indentations.Considering the strong coupling relationship between the hydraulic cylinder and the flexible beam,a system equation of motion combining the state variables of the hydraulic cylinder and mechanical system was established.The complex nonlinear friction force of the hydraulic cylinder motion was constructed using a modified Lu Gre model,and the parameters of the friction model were identified using intelligent identification algorithms.Moreover,a test system for the shell manipulator was established to achieve experimental validation.Finally,the effects of the clearance size and the stiffness of the cylinder support on the dynamic response were investigated.展开更多

Many studies have been conducted on the inspection of the clearance profile in railway operation based on the vis...The 3D clearance of a high-speed train(HST) is critical to ensure the safety of railway transportation. Many studies have been conducted on the inspection of the clearance profile in railway operation based on the vision system, but few researchers have focused on the computation of the 3D clearance in the design phase of an HST. This paper summarizes the virtual 3D clearance computation of an HST based on model integration and the convex hull method. First, both the aerodynamic and kinetic analysis models of the HST are constructed. The two models are then integrated according to the corresponding relationship map, and an array of transformation matrixes of the HST is created to drive the designed model simulating the physical railway motion. Furthermore, the convex hull method is adopted to compute the 3D envelope of the moving train. Finally, the Hausdorff metric is involved in the measurement of the minimum clearance model and the 3D envelope model. In addition, the color map of the Hausdorff distance is established to verify that the designed shape of the HST meets the national standards. This paper provides an effective method to accurately calculate the 3D clearance for the shape design of an HST, which greatly reduces the development cost by minimizing the physical prototype that must be built.展开更多
To reasonably design the blade-tip radial running clearance(BTRRC) of high pressure turbine and improve the performance and reliability of gas turbine, the multi-object multi-discipline reliability sensitivity analysi...To reasonably design the blade-tip radial running clearance(BTRRC) of high pressure turbine and improve the performance and reliability of gas turbine, the multi-object multi-discipline reliability sensitivity analysis of BTRRC was accomplished from a probabilistic prospective by considering nonlinear material attributes and dynamic loads. Firstly, multiply response surface model(MRSM) was proposed and the mathematical model of this method was established based on quadratic function. Secondly, the BTRRC was decomposed into three sub-components(turbine disk, blade and casing), and then the single response surface functions(SRSFs) of three structures were built in line with the basic idea of MRSM. Thirdly, the response surface function(MRSM) of BTRRC was reshaped by coordinating SRSFs. From the analysis, it is acquired to probabilistic distribution characteristics of input-output variables, failure probabilities of blade-tip clearance under different static blade-tip clearances δ and major factors impacting BTRRC. Considering the reliability and efficiency of gas turbine, δ=1.87 mm is an optimally acceptable option for rational BTRRC. Through the comparison of three analysis methods(Monte Carlo method, traditional response surface method and MRSM), the results show that MRSM has higher accuracy and higher efficiency in reliability sensitivity analysis of BTRRC. These strengths are likely to become more prominent with the increasing times of simulations. The present study offers an effective and promising approach for reliability sensitivity analysis and optimal design of complex dynamic assembly relationship.展开更多

A new fine punching processing without burr is put forward by discussing the plastic status and press stress status of the material which influence the quality of the punching work-piece in the deformation zone, it provides the plastic status of material to determine the parameter in the new processing and presents the maximum value of plastic deformation specific energy when the material reaches the plastic status. The author has analyzed the initializing clearance and instantaneous clearance of the ordinary punching. The instantaneous clearance of the ordinary punching process is instable. By studying the author brings forward a kind of punching process which initializing clearance and instantaneous clearance are stable, that is the negative clearance fine punching process. Because of using the negative clearance fine punching process, the material of sheared distorting section comes into the plastic state. The surface quality of the punching sheared edge is advanced 1.5 times than that of the ordinary punching. Sea-based rocket launches encounter significant challenges stemming from dynamic marine environmental interactions.During the hot launch phase,characterized by low-velocity ascent,the departure of the rocket from the ...Sea-based rocket launches encounter significant challenges stemming from dynamic marine environmental interactions.During the hot launch phase,characterized by low-velocity ascent,the departure of the rocket from the oscillatory platform exhibits heightened sensitivity to external disturbances.In the development stage,assessing the launch dynamics and the clearance between the rocket and framed launcher are crucial for improving the reliability of sea-based rocket launches in rough sea conditions.This study presents a high-fidelity dynamic model of maritime hot launch system,demonstrating 3.21%prediction error through rigorous validation against experimental datasets from comprehensive modal analyses and the full-scale rocket flight test.To mitigate collision risks,we develop a computational method employing spatial vector analysis for dynamic measurement of rocket-launcher clearance during departure.Systematic investigations reveal that in rough sea conditions,optimal departure dynamics are achieved at θ_(thrust)=270°nozzle azimuth configuration,reducing failure probability compared to conventional orientations.The developed assessment framework not only resolves critical safety challenges in current sea launch systems but also establishes foundational principles for optimizing adapter axial configuration patterns in future designs.展开更多

The relationships among the impact angle, the tip angle of pick and the kinematics parameters of the pick were built, too. Moreover, the mechanic models of the maximum clearance angle and the wearing angle of the pick were set up. To research the relationships of the installing angles and the change law of the wearing angle along with the kinematics parameters, the simulation was done. In order to verify the correctness of the models, the cutting experiments were done by employing two picks with different pick tip angles. The results indicate that, the cutting force is the smallest when the direction of the resultant force of pick follows its axis, and the relationship derived among the installing angles should be satisfied. In addition, to decrease the cutting force and the wearing of the pick, the tip angle of pick should not be larger than the half of the difference between the minimum wearing angle and the impact angle of the pick, and the clearance angle must not be less than zero.展开更多

This paper presents the results of a concept capability demonstration pilot study, the aim of which was to investigate how inexpensive gaming software and hardware technologies could be exploited in the development an...This paper presents the results of a concept capability demonstration pilot study, the aim of which was to investigate how inexpensive gaming software and hardware technologies could be exploited in the development and evaluation of a simulator prototype for training Royal Navy mine clearance divers, specifically focusing on the detection and accurate reporting of the location and condition of underwater ordnance. The simulator was constructed using the Blender open source 3D modelling toolkit and game engine, and featured not only an interactive 3D editor for underwater scenario generation by instructors, but also a real-time, 3D After Action Review(AAR) system for formative assessment and feedback.The simulated scenarios and AAR architecture were based on early human factors observations and briefings conducted at the UK's Defence Diving School(DDS), an organisation that provides basic military diving training for all Royal Navy and Army(Royal Engineers) divers. An experimental pilot study was undertaken to determine whether or not basic navigational and mine detection components of diver performance could be improved as a result of exposing participants to the AAR system, delivered between simulated diving scenarios. The results suggest that the provision of AAR was accompanied by significant performance improvements in the positive identification of simulated underwater ordnance(in contrast to non-ordnance objects) and on participants' description of their location, their immediate in-water or seabed context and their structural condition. Only marginal improvements were found with participants' navigational performance in terms of their deviation accuracies from a pre-programmed expert search path. Overall, this project contributes to the growing corpus of evidence supporting the development of simulators that demonstrate the value of exploiting open source gaming software and the significance of adopting established games design techniques in delivering highly engaging scenarios to defence training communities.展开更多

A micro-process model for operation of the hydraulic shock absorber was presented. A novel concept, which describes the process of hydraulic shock absorber by dividing it into smaller steps, was proposed. The dynamic model and the differential equations were established. The results of numerical simulation agree well with data obtained from the vibrostand test, indicating that the collision between the piston and the oil, the alternation of static friction and sliding friction acted between the piston and the cylinder, and the adherence between valve plate and piston result in impact on the piston head near the top dead center and the bottom dead center. Ultimately, the impact excites the high-frequency vibration of the piston structure, which can generate the abnormal noise in the hydraulic shock absorber after its transfer. And the maximum vibration acceleration on the piston head and the abnormal noise increase with the increase of the gap between the oil and piston rod head, the maximum static friction force and the adhering function, respectively.展开更多

The phenomena of drum instability were analyzed. Drum instability mechanism was studied. The important influence of the mandrel-locked ring on stable thinning spinning was found. Besides, two important parameters, namely drum ratio and drum stiffness, were proposed to characterize the drum instability of spinning ultra thin-walled tubes with large diameter-to-thickness ratio. What's more, numerical simulations were applied to explore the influences of different clearance ratios and diameter-to-thickness ratios on the drum instability. As a result, it is found that the mandrel-locked ring is the key to the stability and precision of spinning; drum ratio can reflect the degree of the deformation of the tubes; drum stiffness is a comprehensive index to measure the influences of the tube's own parameters on the spinning instability; both the clearance ratio and diameter-thickness ratio have significant influences on the drum ratio and drum stiffness.展开更多

文摘Objective:Augmented renal clearance(ARC),in contrast to renal dysfunction,refers to enhanced renal elimination of circulating solutes compared to the expected baseline.Although patients may present with normal serum creatinine(Scr)levels,the incidence of ARC is high in intensive care unit(ICU)settings.ARC is associated with subtherapeutic exposure and treatment failure of renally cleared antibiotics.However,limited research exists on the incidence and risk factors of ARC in the ICU,and even fewer data are available specifically for neurological ICU(NICU).This study aims to determine the incidence and risk factors of ARC in neurocritically ill patients.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed all available Scr data of neurocritical care patients admitted to the NICU of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University between December 2020 and January 2023.Creatinine clearance(CrCl)was calculated using the Cockcroft-Gault equation.ARC was defined as a CrCl≥130 mL/(min·1.73 m^(2))sustained for more than 50%of the duration of the NICU stay.A total of 208 neurocritically ill patients were assigned into an ARC group(n=52)and a non-ARC(N-ARC)group(n=156).Clinical characteristics were compared between the 2 groups.Variables with P<0.05 in univariate analysis were included in binary Logistic regression to identify independent risk factors for ARC.Results:The incidence of ARC among neurocritically ill patients was 25.00%.Of the 74 patients with normal CrCl,20(27.03%)gradually developed ARC during hospitalization.Compared with the N-ARC group,the patients of the ARC group were younger(P<0.001),with a higher proportion of females(P=0.048)and a lower admission mean arterial pressure(MAP)(P=0.034).Moreover,patients of the ARC group were commonly complicated with severe bacterial infections compared with the patients of the N-ARC group(P<0.001).In binary Logistic regression analysis,younger age(OR=0.903,95%CI 0.872 to 0.935)and severe bacterial infections(OR=6.270,95%CI 2.568 to 15.310)were significant predictors of ARC.Conclusion:ARC is relatively common in the NICU.A considerable number of patients with initially normal renal function developed ARC during hospitalization.Younger age and concurrent severe bacterial infection are important risk factors of ARC in neurocritically ill patients.

文摘The collision and wear caused by inevitable clearance in kinematic pair have an effect on the dynamic characteristics of the mechanism.Therefore,we established the dynamic model of a 3RSR(R is the revolute joint and S is the spherical joint)parallel mechanism with spherical joint clearance based on the modified Flores contact force model and the modified Coulomb friction model using Newton-Euler method.The standard quaternion was introduced in the constraint equation,and the four-order Runge-Kutta method was adopted to solve the 3RSR dynamic model.The simulation results were compared and analyzed with the numerical results.The geometrical parameters of the worn ball socket were solved based on the Archard wear model,and the geometrical reconstruction of the worn surface was carried out.The geometric reconstruction parameters were substituted into the dynamic model,which was to analyze the dynamic response of the 3RSR parallel mechanism with wear and spherical joint clearance.The simulation results show that the irregular wear occurs in the spherical joint with clearance under the presence of the impact and friction force.The long-term wear will increase the fluctuation of the contact force,thereby decreasing the movement stability of the mechanism.

文摘A new non-linear transverse-torsional coupled model was proposed for 2K-H planetary gear train, and gear's geometric eccentricity error, comprehensive transmission error, time-varying meshing stiffness, sun-planet and planet-ring gear pair's backlashes and sun gear's bearing clearance were taken into consideration. The solution of differential governing equation of motion was solved by applying variable step-size Runge-Kutta numerical integration method. The system motion state was investigated systematically and qualitatively, and exhibited diverse characteristics of bifurcation and chaos as well as non-linear behavior under different bifurcation parameters including meshing frequency, sun-planet backlash, planet-ring backlash and sun gear's bearing clearance. Analysis results show that the increasing damping could suppress the region of chaotic motion and improve the system's stability significantly. The route of crisis to chaotic motion was observed under the bifurcation parameter of meshing frequency. However, the routes of period doubling and crisis to chaos were identified under the bifurcation parameter of sun-planet backlash; besides, several different types of routes to chaos were observed and coexisted under the bifurcation parameter of planet-ring backlash including period doubling, Hopf bifurcation, 3T-periodic channel and crisis. Additionally, planet-ring backlash generated a strong coupling effect to system's non-linear behavior while the sun gear's bearing clearance produced weak coupling effect. Finally, quasi-periodic motion could be found under all above–mentioned bifurcation parameters and closely associated with the 3T-periodic motion.

文摘In this study,a modeling method for investigating the dynamic characteristics of a hydraulically driven shell manipulator with revolute clearance joints is presented.This model accounts for the effect of the clearance,the flexibility of the rotating beam,and the coupled dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic cylinder.A modified contact force model was developed to simulate the physical properties of realistic revolute joints with small clearances,heavy loads,and variable contact stiffnesses and damping coefficients with variations of the indentations.Considering the strong coupling relationship between the hydraulic cylinder and the flexible beam,a system equation of motion combining the state variables of the hydraulic cylinder and mechanical system was established.The complex nonlinear friction force of the hydraulic cylinder motion was constructed using a modified Lu Gre model,and the parameters of the friction model were identified using intelligent identification algorithms.Moreover,a test system for the shell manipulator was established to achieve experimental validation.Finally,the effects of the clearance size and the stiffness of the cylinder support on the dynamic response were investigated.

文摘The 3D clearance of a high-speed train(HST) is critical to ensure the safety of railway transportation. Many studies have been conducted on the inspection of the clearance profile in railway operation based on the vision system, but few researchers have focused on the computation of the 3D clearance in the design phase of an HST. This paper summarizes the virtual 3D clearance computation of an HST based on model integration and the convex hull method. First, both the aerodynamic and kinetic analysis models of the HST are constructed. The two models are then integrated according to the corresponding relationship map, and an array of transformation matrixes of the HST is created to drive the designed model simulating the physical railway motion. Furthermore, the convex hull method is adopted to compute the 3D envelope of the moving train. Finally, the Hausdorff metric is involved in the measurement of the minimum clearance model and the 3D envelope model. In addition, the color map of the Hausdorff distance is established to verify that the designed shape of the HST meets the national standards. This paper provides an effective method to accurately calculate the 3D clearance for the shape design of an HST, which greatly reduces the development cost by minimizing the physical prototype that must be built.

文摘To reasonably design the blade-tip radial running clearance(BTRRC) of high pressure turbine and improve the performance and reliability of gas turbine, the multi-object multi-discipline reliability sensitivity analysis of BTRRC was accomplished from a probabilistic prospective by considering nonlinear material attributes and dynamic loads. Firstly, multiply response surface model(MRSM) was proposed and the mathematical model of this method was established based on quadratic function. Secondly, the BTRRC was decomposed into three sub-components(turbine disk, blade and casing), and then the single response surface functions(SRSFs) of three structures were built in line with the basic idea of MRSM. Thirdly, the response surface function(MRSM) of BTRRC was reshaped by coordinating SRSFs. From the analysis, it is acquired to probabilistic distribution characteristics of input-output variables, failure probabilities of blade-tip clearance under different static blade-tip clearances δ and major factors impacting BTRRC. Considering the reliability and efficiency of gas turbine, δ=1.87 mm is an optimally acceptable option for rational BTRRC. Through the comparison of three analysis methods(Monte Carlo method, traditional response surface method and MRSM), the results show that MRSM has higher accuracy and higher efficiency in reliability sensitivity analysis of BTRRC. These strengths are likely to become more prominent with the increasing times of simulations. The present study offers an effective and promising approach for reliability sensitivity analysis and optimal design of complex dynamic assembly relationship.

Some theoretical results are summarized at last which extend the current understanding of the dynamic load sharing behavior of planet gear train, enrich the related literature and provide references for the design of planetary gear train.

文摘In order to study influence of tongue clearance on the hydraulic performance of double support vortex pump,three dimensional flow model with symmetric variable size tongue clearance was established by changing section parameter of tongue clearance,and applied to numerically simulate the steady inner flow in a vortex pump based on fixed working conditions and impeller through ANSYS FLUENT.The numerical results show the influence of tongue channel with two sections(non-uniform and uniform sections)on flow field characteristics in vortex pump.Firstly,the variation of tongue channel section changes the vortex structure distribution in circumferential flow channel.Specifically the spiral forward vortex structure in the circumferential direction shifts to large radius side with increasing tongue width.Secondly,the circumferential velocity gradient and axial pressure gradient both diminish with the increase of the tongue section,and the inlet/outlet pressure difference and velocity distribution also reduce with increasing tongue channel section.Finally,for vortex pump with non-uniform section of tongue channel,the head diminishes and the efficiency remains constant approximately with the increase of the tongue width,while the head and the efficiency both diminish for uniform section of tongue channel.

文摘The article mainly talks about the characteristic of common and fine punching and the quality of shearing edge. Although the common punching has been widely applied, the quality of shearing edge is very poor. The fine punching work-piece is better in quality. But it isn’t still been widely applied, because the structure of die is complicated and the manufacture of die and using pressure machine are expensive. A new fine punching processing without burr is put forward by discussing the plastic status and press stress status of the material which influence the quality of the punching work-piece in the deformation zone, it provides the plastic status of material to determine the parameter in the new processing and presents the maximum value of plastic deformation specific energy when the material reaches the plastic status. The author has analyzed the initializing clearance and instantaneous clearance of the ordinary punching. The instantaneous clearance of the ordinary punching process is instable. By studying the author brings forward a kind of punching process which initializing clearance and instantaneous clearance are stable, that is the negative clearance fine punching process. Because of using the negative clearance fine punching process, the material of sheared distorting section comes into the plastic state. The surface quality of the punching sheared edge is advanced 1.5 times than that of the ordinary punching. The recommended value of depth of the negative clearance punching has been given in this article.

文摘Sea-based rocket launches encounter significant challenges stemming from dynamic marine environmental interactions.During the hot launch phase,characterized by low-velocity ascent,the departure of the rocket from the oscillatory platform exhibits heightened sensitivity to external disturbances.In the development stage,assessing the launch dynamics and the clearance between the rocket and framed launcher are crucial for improving the reliability of sea-based rocket launches in rough sea conditions.This study presents a high-fidelity dynamic model of maritime hot launch system,demonstrating 3.21%prediction error through rigorous validation against experimental datasets from comprehensive modal analyses and the full-scale rocket flight test.To mitigate collision risks,we develop a computational method employing spatial vector analysis for dynamic measurement of rocket-launcher clearance during departure.Systematic investigations reveal that in rough sea conditions,optimal departure dynamics are achieved at θ_(thrust)=270°nozzle azimuth configuration,reducing failure probability compared to conventional orientations.The developed assessment framework not only resolves critical safety challenges in current sea launch systems but also establishes foundational principles for optimizing adapter axial configuration patterns in future designs.

文摘In order to obtain the determining method of the installing angle and decrease the performance indices (cutting force and wearing rate) of the pick, the relationships among the installing angles (impact angle, inclination angle and the skew angle) were studied, and the static model of installing angles of the pick was built. The relationships among the impact angle, the tip angle of pick and the kinematics parameters of the pick were built, too. Moreover, the mechanic models of the maximum clearance angle and the wearing angle of the pick were set up. To research the relationships of the installing angles and the change law of the wearing angle along with the kinematics parameters, the simulation was done. In order to verify the correctness of the models, the cutting experiments were done by employing two picks with different pick tip angles. The results indicate that, the cutting force is the smallest when the direction of the resultant force of pick follows its axis, and the relationship derived among the installing angles should be satisfied. In addition, to decrease the cutting force and the wearing of the pick, the tip angle of pick should not be larger than the half of the difference between the minimum wearing angle and the impact angle of the pick, and the clearance angle must not be less than zero.

文摘To make the dynamic assembly reliability analysis more effective for complex machinery of multi-object multi-discipline(MOMD),distributed collaborative extremum response surface method(DCERSM)was proposed based on extremum response surface method(ERSM).Firstly,the basic theories of the ERSM and DCERSM were investigated,and the strengths of DCERSM were proved theoretically.Secondly,the mathematical model of the DCERSM was established based upon extremum response surface function(ERSF).Finally,this model was applied to the reliability analysis of blade-tip radial running clearance(BTRRC)of an aeroengine high pressure turbine(HPT)to verify its advantages.The results show that the DCERSM can not only reshape the possibility of the reliability analysis for the complex turbo machinery,but also greatly improve the computational speed,save the computational time and improve the computational efficiency while keeping the accuracy.Thus,the DCERSM is verified to be feasible and effective in the dynamic assembly reliability(DAR)analysis of complex machinery.Moreover,this method offers an useful insight for designing and optimizing the dynamic reliability of complex machinery.

文摘The high-pressure electro-pneumatic servo valve(HESV)is a core element of the high-pressure pneumatic servo system.The annular clearance and the rounded corner of the spool-sleeve can cause the leakage at null position,thereby affecting high-precision control and stability of the servo system.This paper investigates the effects of the clearance structure on leakage behavior at null position of the HESV.A numerical approach was employed to evaluate the effects,and then a mathematical model was established to obtain the variation law of leakage flow rate at null position.The results indicate that the leakage flow rate at null position varies linearly with supply pressure and rounded corner radius,and is nonlinear as a quadratic concave function with annular clearance.The leakage flow rate of the annular clearance and the rounded corner varies with the valve opening in an invariable−nonlinear−linear trend.A test rig system of leakage behavior at null position of the HESV was built to confirm the validity of the numerical model,which agrees well with the conducted experimental study.

文摘This paper presents the results of a concept capability demonstration pilot study, the aim of which was to investigate how inexpensive gaming software and hardware technologies could be exploited in the development and evaluation of a simulator prototype for training Royal Navy mine clearance divers, specifically focusing on the detection and accurate reporting of the location and condition of underwater ordnance. The simulator was constructed using the Blender open source 3D modelling toolkit and game engine, and featured not only an interactive 3D editor for underwater scenario generation by instructors, but also a real-time, 3D After Action Review(AAR) system for formative assessment and feedback.The simulated scenarios and AAR architecture were based on early human factors observations and briefings conducted at the UK's Defence Diving School(DDS), an organisation that provides basic military diving training for all Royal Navy and Army(Royal Engineers) divers. An experimental pilot study was undertaken to determine whether or not basic navigational and mine detection components of diver performance could be improved as a result of exposing participants to the AAR system, delivered between simulated diving scenarios. The results suggest that the provision of AAR was accompanied by significant performance improvements in the positive identification of simulated underwater ordnance(in contrast to non-ordnance objects) and on participants' description of their location, their immediate in-water or seabed context and their structural condition. Only marginal improvements were found with participants' navigational performance in terms of their deviation accuracies from a pre-programmed expert search path. Overall, this project contributes to the growing corpus of evidence supporting the development of simulators that demonstrate the value of exploiting open source gaming software and the significance of adopting established games design techniques in delivering highly engaging scenarios to defence training communities.

文摘In order to discover the causes of the abnormal noise of shock absorbers, it is necessary to identify the operating characteristics of the shock absorbers. A micro-process model for operation of the hydraulic shock absorber was presented. A novel concept, which describes the process of hydraulic shock absorber by dividing it into smaller steps, was proposed. The dynamic model and the differential equations were established. The results of numerical simulation agree well with data obtained from the vibrostand test, indicating that the collision between the piston and the oil, the alternation of static friction and sliding friction acted between the piston and the cylinder, and the adherence between valve plate and piston result in impact on the piston head near the top dead center and the bottom dead center. Ultimately, the impact excites the high-frequency vibration of the piston structure, which can generate the abnormal noise in the hydraulic shock absorber after its transfer. And the maximum vibration acceleration on the piston head and the abnormal noise increase with the increase of the gap between the oil and piston rod head, the maximum static friction force and the adhering function, respectively.

文摘In order to explore drum instability problems of thinning spinning ultra thin-walled tubes with large diameter-to-hickness ratio, experiments of thinning spinning ultra thin-walled tubes with different clearances between the mandrel and the tube were carried out. The phenomena of drum instability were analyzed. Drum instability mechanism was studied. The important influence of the mandrel-locked ring on stable thinning spinning was found. Besides, two important parameters, namely drum ratio and drum stiffness, were proposed to characterize the drum instability of spinning ultra thin-walled tubes with large diameter-to-thickness ratio. What's more, numerical simulations were applied to explore the influences of different clearance ratios and diameter-to-thickness ratios on the drum instability. As a result, it is found that the mandrel-locked ring is the key to the stability and precision of spinning; drum ratio can reflect the degree of the deformation of the tubes; drum stiffness is a comprehensive index to measure the influences of the tube's own parameters on the spinning instability; both the clearance ratio and diameter-thickness ratio have significant influences on the drum ratio and drum stiffness.
