The proposed control strategy is developed on the basis of integral sliding mode philosophy, which combines conventional sliding mode control and a linear quadratic regulator over a finite time interval with a free-final-state and allows the finite-time establishment of a high-order sliding mode. Firstly, a second-order sliding mode attitude controller is designed in the proposed high-order siding mode control framework. Then, to address the control chattering problem, a virtual control is introduced in the control design and hence a third-order sliding mode attitude controller is developed, leading to the chattering reduction as well as the control accuracy improvement. Finally, simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.展开更多

On the basis of feedback linearization of the aircraft-cargo motion system, a novel integral sliding mode flight control law with gains adaptation is proposed. It contains a nominal control law used to achieve finite-time stabilization performance and a compensated control law used to reject the uncertainties. The switching gains of the compensated control law are tuned using adaptation algorithms, and the knowledge of the bounds of the uncertainties is not required to be known in advance. Meanwhile, the severe chattering of the sliding mode control that caused by high switching gains is effectively reduced. The controller and its performance are evaluated on a transport aircraft performing a maximum load airdrop task in a number of simulation scenarios.展开更多

In contrast to the ground, the base of the MSRS is floating when assembled in orbit, resulting in a strong dynamic coupling effect. A TED-based ASMC technique with exponential reaching law is designed to achieve high-precision coordinated control between the spacecraft base and the robotic arm. TDE technology is used by the controller to compensate for coupling terms and uncertainties, while ASMC can augment and improve TDE’s robustness. To suppress TDE errors and eliminate chattering, a new adaptive law is created to modify gain parameters online, ensuring quick dynamic response and high tracking accuracy. The Lyapunov approach shows that the tracking errors are uniformly ultimately bounded (UUB). Finally, the on-orbit assembly process of MSRS is simulated to validate the efficacy of the proposed control scheme. The simulation results show that the proposed control method can accurately complete the target module’s on-orbit assembly, with minimal perturbations to the spacecraft’s attitude. Meanwhile, it has a high level of robustness and can effectively eliminate chattering.展开更多

A mathematical model of the system was developed firstly. Due to the time-varying friction force in the cylinder, unmodeled dynamics, and unknown disturbances, there exist large extent of parametric uncertainties and rather severe uncertain nonlinearities in the pneumatic system. To deal with these uncertainties effectively, an adaptive robust controller was constructed in this work. The proposed controller employs on-line recursive least squares estimation(RLSE) to reduce the extent of parametric uncertainties, and utilizes the sliding mode control method to attenuate the effects of parameter estimation errors, unmodeled dynamics and disturbances. Therefore, a prescribed motion tracking transient performance and final tracking accuracy can be guaranteed. Since the system model uncertainties are unmatched, the recursive backstepping design technology was applied. In order to solve the conflicts between the sliding mode control design and the adaptive control design, the projection mapping was used to condition the RLSE algorithm so that the parameter estimates are kept within a known bounded convex set. Extensive experimental results were presented to illustrate the excellent achievable performance of the proposed controller and performance robustness to the load variation and sudden disturbance.展开更多

The adaptive control law is combined with the first n - 1 steps of the backstepping method to estimate the unknown pa- rameters of the system. In the nth step, an NTSM control strategy is utilized to drive the last state of the system to converge in a finite time. Furthermore, the derivate estimator is used to obtain the derivates of the states of the error system; the higher-order non-singular terminal sliding mode control (HONTSMC) law is de- signed to eliminate the chattering and make the system robust to both matched and unmatched uncertainties. Compared to the adaptive backstepping-based linear sliding mode control method (LSMC), the proposed method improves the convergence rate and the steady-state tracking accuracy of the system, and makes the control signal smoother. Finally, the compared simulation results are presented to validate the method.展开更多

文摘The system considered in this work consists of a cylinder which is controlled by a pair of three-way servo valves rather than a four-way one. Therefore, the cylinder output stiffness is independently controllable of the output force.A discontinuous projection based adaptive robust controller (ARC) was constructed to achieve high-accuracy output force trajectory tracking for the system. In ARC,on-line parameter adaptation method was adopted to reduce the extent of parametric uncertainties due to the variation of friction parameters, and sliding mode control method was utilized to attenuate the effects of parameter estimation errors, unmodelled dynamics and disturbance.Furthermore, output stiffness maximization/minimization was introduced to fulfill the requirement of many robotic applications.Extensive experimental results were presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the achievable performance of the proposed scheme. For tracking a 0.5 Hz sinusoidal trajectory, maximum tracking error is 4.1 N and average tracking error is 2.2 N.Meanwhile, the output stiffness can be made and maintained near its maximum/minimum.

文摘An adaptive backstepping-based non-singular termi- nal sliding mode (NTSM) control method is proposed for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems in the parameteric-strict feedback form. Finally, the compared simulation results are presented to validate the method.

文摘The problem of direct adaptive neural network control for a class of large-scale systems with unknown function control gains and the high-order interconneetions is studied in this paper. Based on the principle of sliding mode control and the approximation capability of multilayer neural networks, a design scheme of decentralized di- rect adaptive sliding mode controller is proposed. The plant dynamic uncertainty and modeling errors are adaptively compensated by adjusted the weights and sliding mode gains on-line for each subsystem using only local informa- tion. According to the Lyapunov method, the closed-loop adaptive control system is proven to be globally stable, with tracking errors converging to a neighborhood of zero. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

文摘The design of servo controllers for flexible ball screw drives with matched and mismatched disturbances and uncertainties is focused to improve the tracking performance and bandwidth of ball screw drives.A two degrees of freedom mass model is established based on the axial vibration characteristics of the transport ball screw, and the controller of an adaptive integral sliding mode is proposed combining the optimal design of state feedback gain matrix K to restrain the vibration and the matched disturbances and uncertainties. Then for the counteraction of the mismatched disturbances and uncertainties,a nonlinear disturbance observer is also developed. The trajectory tracking performance experiments and bandwidth analysis were conducted on experimental setup with the proposed control method. It is proved that the adaptive integral sliding mode controller has a high tracking performance and bandwidth especially for the axial vibration characteristics model of ball screw drives. And the ball screw tracking accuracy also has a considerable improvement with the application of the proposed nonlinear disturbance observer.
