At the same time, the research on giant magnetocaloric materials will accelerate the development of room temperature magnetic refrigeration. In this paper, the new theoretical and experimental investigations on magnetic materials in room temperature application were described, including Gd and its binary and ternary intermetallic compounds, Mn-based compounds, La(Fe13-xMx)-based compounds and manganites. Based on the analysis of hysteresis, corrosion, cost and heat process, the comparison between different families of magnetic materials was discussed. Further research of room temperature magnetic refrigerant was suggested.展开更多

The results show that Cu6Sn5 IMC is observed at the interface between solder and Cu substrate in all conditions. After aging for 120 h,the Cu3Sn IMC is then obtained. With increasing aging time, the scalloped Cu6Sn5 structure changes to a plate structure. The Cu3Sn film always forms with a relatively planar interface. By adding a small amount of the rare earth element Ce (only 0.1%,mass fraction) into the Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu solder alloy, the growth rate of the Cu-Sn IMC at the interface of solder alloy system is decreased. When the time exponent is approximately 0.5,the growth of the IMC layer is mainly controlled by a diffusion over the studied time range.展开更多

The results show that the increasing amount of alkali oxides in the glass causes the decrease of [SiO4], which results in the decrease of the continuity of glass network, and leads to the decrease of the softening temperature Tf of the samples and the increasing trend of crystallization. And that deduces corresponding rise of densification, dielectric constant, dielectric loss of the low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) materials and the decrease of its thermal conductivity. By contrast, the borosilicate glass/A1203 composites with 1.5% (mass fraction) alkali oxides sintered at 875 ℃ for 30 rain exhibit better properties of a bulk density of 2.79 g/cm3, a porosity of 0.48%, a 2 value of 2.28 W/(m.K), a er value of 7.82 and a tand value of 9.1 × 10-4 (measured at 10 MHz).展开更多
