AIM:To optimize the better synthetic condition of bezafibrate. The effect of various conditions on the quality and purity of bezafibrate was determined by HPLC. The effect of various conditions on the quality and purity of bezafibrate was determined by HPLC. METHOD:Analyzed some possible impurities existing in the crude bezafibrate with HPLC, and determined the effect of various conditions on the quality of bezafibrate. RESULT:The content of bezafibrate in crude product was raised from 79.48% to 93.25% and its purity reached requirement after only one recrystallzation. Additionally, the reaction was easier to take place and the conditions were more gentle than before with the yield unchanged. CONCLUSION:Optimized synthetic process of bezafibrate was more suitable to industrial production.展开更多
