A method of symmetrical sampling of basic random variables adopted by classical response surface method was mended, and peak value and deflection degree of basic random variables distribution curve were took into account in the mended sampling method. A calculation way of probability moment, based on mended Rosenbluth method, suitable for non-explicit performance function was put forward. The first, second, third and fourth order moments of functional function value were calculated by mended Rosenbluth method through the first, second, third and fourth order moments of basic random variable. A probability density the function(PDF) of functional function was deduced through its first, second, third and fourth moments, the PDF in the new method took the place of the method of quadratic polynomial to approximate real functional function and reliability probability was calculated through integral by the PDF for random variable of functional function value in the new method. The result shows that the improved response surface method can adapt to various statistic distribution types of basic random variables, its calculation process is legible and need not itemtive circulation. In addition, a stability probability of surrounding rock for a tunnel was calculated by the improved method, whose workload is only 30% of classical method and its accuracy is comparative.展开更多

In order to simulate the nonlinear pile-to-pile interaction in pile groups, the soils along the piles are assumed to behave as a series of nonlinear springs subjected to the shaft shear stress at the pile/soil interface. Considering the displacement reduction induced by the pile-to-pile interaction, the shear-deformation method is adopted to approximate the displacement field of the layered soils around the piles, and the equivalent stiffness of the springs is obtained. Furthermore, the load-settlement response of pile groups is deduced by modifying the load-transfer functions to account for the pile-to-pile interaction. The settlements of a laboratory pile groups computed by the presented approach are in a good agreement with measured results. The analysis on Contrastive parameters shows that the settlements of pile group decrease with the increase of the pile space and pile length, and the part of piles exceeding the critical pile length has little contribution to the beating capacity of the pile groups.展开更多

This algorithm is used to deal with issues like the large computational complexity, the fluctuation of grayscale, and the noise in infrared images. Four characteristic points were selected by analyzing the grayscale distribution in infrared image, of which the series was quickly matched with an affine transformation model. The image was then divided into 32×32 squares and the gray-weighted kernel(GWK) for each square was calculated. At last, the MTD was carried out according to the variation of the four GWKs. The results indicate that the MTD can be achieved in real time using the algorithm with the fluctuations of grayscale and noise can be effectively suppressed. The detection probability is greater than 90% with the false alarm rate lower than 5% when the calculation time is less than 40 ms.展开更多
