The aim of this work is to analyze the stress distributions on a crown-luting cement-substrate system with a finite-element method in order to predict the likelihood of interfacial micro cracks, radial or circumferential cracks, delamination, fracture and delamination with torsion. The contact and layer interface stresses in elastic layered half-space indented by an elastic sphere were examined using finite element method. The model consists of crown, luting cement and substrate. The solutions were carried out for three different elastic moduli of luting cement. It was placed between the cement and the substrate as a middle layer and its elastic module was chosen lower than the elastic module of crown and higher than the elastic module of dentin. An axisymmetric finite element mesh was set up for the stress analysis. Stress distributions on the contact surface and the interfaces of crown-luting cement and luting cement-dentin have been investigated for three different values of luting cement by using ANSYS. The effects of the luting cement which has three different elastic moduli on the pressure distribution and the location of interfacial stresses of the multi-layer model have been examined. The mechanism of crack initiation in the interfaces and interracial delamination was also studied quantitatively. For each luting cement, the pressure distribution is similar at the contact zone. Stress discontinuities occur at the perfect bonding interfaces of the crown-luting cement and the substrate-luting cement. The maximum stress jumps are obtained for the highest and the lowest elastic module of the luting cement. In the crown-luting cement-substrate system, failures may initiate at crown-luting cement region for luting cement with the lowest elastic module value. In addition, failures at luting cement-substrate region may occur for luting cement with the highest elastic module. In the luting cement, the medium elastic module value is more suitable for stress distribution in crown-luting cement-substrate interfaces. 展开更多

To aim at the multimode character of the data from the airplane detecting system, the paper combines Dempster- Shafer evidence theory and subjective Bayesian algorithm and makes to propose a mixed structure multimode data fusion algorithm. The algorithm adopts a prorated algorithm relate to the incertitude evaluation to convert the probability evaluation into the precognition probability in an identity frame, and ensures the adaptability of different data from different source to the mixed system. To guarantee real time fusion, a combination of time domain fusion and space domain fusion is established, this not only assure the fusion of data chain in different time of the same sensor, but also the data fusion from different sensors distributed in different platforms and the data fusion among different modes. In order to improve ride comfort and handling performance of the vehicle, an adaptive hybrid control algorithm is proposed for semi-active suspension systems. The virtues of sky-hook is combined with ground-hook control strategies and a more suitable compromise for the suspension systems is chosen. The hybrid coefficient is tuned according to the longitudinal and lateral acceleration so as to improve the vehicle stability especially in high speed conditions. Damping continuous adjustable absorber is used to continuously control the damping force so as to eliminate the damping force jerk instead of traditional on-off control policy. Based on suspension stroke measured by sensors, unscented Kalman filter is designed to estimate the suspension states in real-time for the realization of hybrid control, which improves the robustness of the control strategy and is adaptive to different types of road profiles. Finally, the proposed control algorithm is validated under the following two typical road profiles: half-sine speed bump road and the random road. The simulation results indicate that the hybrid control algorithm could offer a good coordination between ride comfort and handling of the vehicle. 展开更多

Solving material distribution routing problem in mixed manufacturing systems with a hybrid multi-objective evolutionary algorithm 被引量:7

The material distribution routing problem in the manufacturing system is a complex combinatorial optimization problem and its main task is to deliver materials to the working stations with low cost and high efficiency. A multi-objective model was presented for the material distribution routing problem in mixed manufacturing systems, and it was solved by a hybrid multi-objective evolutionary algorithm (HMOEA). The characteristics of the HMOEA are as follows: 1) A route pool is employed to preserve the best routes for the population initiation; 2) A specialized best?worst route crossover (BWRC) mode is designed to perform the crossover operators for selecting the best route from Chromosomes 1 to exchange with the worst one in Chromosomes 2, so that the better genes are inherited to the offspring; 3) A route swap mode is used to perform the mutation for improving the convergence speed and preserving the better gene; 4) Local heuristics search methods are applied in this algorithm. Computational study of a practical case shows that the proposed algorithm can decrease the total travel distance by 51.66%, enhance the average vehicle load rate by 37.85%, cut down 15 routes and reduce a deliver vehicle. The convergence speed of HMOEA is faster than that of famous NSGA-II. 展开更多

Earthquake is a kind of sudden and destructive random excitation in nature.It is significant to determine the probability distribution characteristics of the corresponding dynamic indicators to ensure the safety and the stability of structures when the intensive seismic excitation,the intensity of which is larger than 7,acts in train-bridge system.Firstly,the motion equations of a two-dimensional train-bridge system under the vertical random excitation of track irregularity and the vertical seismic acceleration are established,where the train subsystem is composed of 8 mutually independent vehicle elements with 48 degrees of freedom,while the single-span simple supported bridge subsystem is composed of 102D beam elements with 20 degrees of freedom on beam and 2 large mass degrees of freedom at the support.Secondly,Monte Carlo method and pseudo excitation method are adopted to analyze the statistical parameters of the system.The power spectrum density of random excitation is used to define a series of non-stationary pseudo excitation in pseudo excitation method and the trigonometric series of random vibration history samples in Monte Carlo method,respectively solved by precise integral method and Newmark-βmethod through the inter-system iterative procedure.Finally,the results are compared with the case under the weak seismic excitation,and show that the samples of vertical acceleration response of bridge and the offload factor of train obeys the normal distribution.In a high probability,the intensive earthquakes pose a greater threat to the safety and stability of bridges and trains than the weak ones. 展开更多

The structural-acoustic coupling model for isotropic thin elastic plate was extended to honeycomb sandwich plate(HSP) by applying Green function method.Then an equivalent circuit model of the weakly-strongly coupled system was proposed.Based on that,the estimation formulae of the coupled eigenfrequency were derived.The accuracy of the theoretical predictions was checked against experimental data,with good agreement achieved.Finally,the effects of HSP design parameters on the system coupling degree,the acoustic cavity eigenfrequency,and sound pressure response were analyzed.The results show that mechanical and acoustical characteristics of HSP can be improved by increasing the thickness of face sheet and reducing the mass density of material. 展开更多

A sensor scheduling problem was considered for a class of hybrid systems named as the stochastic linear hybrid system (SLHS). An algorithm was proposed to select one (or a group of) sensor at each time from a set of sensors. Then, a hybrid estimation algorithm was designed to compute the estimates of the continuous and discrete states of the SLHS based on the observations from the selected sensors. As the sensor scheduling algorithm is designed such that the Bayesian decision risk is minimized, the true discrete state can be better identified. Moreover, the continuous state estimation performance of the proposed algorithm is better than that of hybrid estimation algorithms using only predetermined sensors. Finallyo the algorithms are validated through an illustrative target tracking example. 展开更多

To increase the efficiency and reliability of the thermodynamics analysis of the hydraulic system, the method based on pseudo-bond graph is introduced. According to the working mechanism of hydraulic components, they can be separated into two categories: capacitive components and resistive components. Then, the thermal-hydraulic pseudo-bond graphs of capacitive C element and resistance R element were developed, based on the conservation of mass and energy. Subsequently, the connection rule for the pseudo-bond graph elements and the method to construct the complete thermal-hydraulic system model were proposed. On the basis of heat transfer analysis of a typical hydraulic circuit containing a piston pump, the lumped parameter mathematical model of the system was given. The good agreement between the simulation results and experimental data demonstrates the validity of the modeling method. 展开更多
