A Receiver Operating Characteristic(ROC)analysis of a power is important and useful in clinical trials.A Classical Conditional Power(CCP)is a probability of a classical rejection region given values of true treatment effect and interim result.For hypotheses and reversed hypotheses under normal models,we obtain analytical expressions of the ROC curves of the CCP,find optimal ROC curves of the CCP,investigate the superiority of the ROC curves of the CCP,calculate critical values of the False Positive Rate(FPR),True Positive Rate(TPR),and cutoff of the optimal CCP,and give go/no go decisions at the interim of the optimal CCP.In addition,extensive numerical experiments are carried out to exemplify our theoretical results.Finally,a real data example is performed to illustrate the go/no go decisions of the optimal CCP. 展开更多

Ratio of Fe-Al compound at interface of steel-backed Al-graphite semi-solid bonding plate 被引量:2

The ratio of Fe-Al compound at the bonding interface of solid steel plate to Al-7graphite slurry was used to characterize the interracial structure of steel-Al-7graphite semi-solid bonding plate quantitatively. The relationship between the ratio of Fe-Al compound at interface and bonding parameters (such as preheat temperature of steel plate, solid fraction of Al-7graphite slurry and rolling speed) was established by artificial neural networks perfectly. The results show that when the bonding parameters are 516 ℃ for preheat temperature of steel plate, 32.5% for solid fraction of Al-7graphite slurry and 12 mm/s for rolling speed, the reasonable ratio of Fe-Al compound corresponding to the largest interfacial shear strength of bonding plate is obtained to be 70.1%. This reasonable ratio of Fe-Al compound is a quantitative criterion of interracial embrittlement, namely, when the ratio of Fe-Al compound at interface is larger than 70.1%, interfacial embrittlement will occur. 展开更多

Surface roughness of quartz particles was determined by measuring the specific surface area of particles.The wettability characteristics of particles were determined by measuring the flotation rate using a laboratory flotation cell.Experimental results show that the rod mill product has higher roughness than the ball mill product.For the particles with larger surface roughness,the flotation kinetics constant is also higher.Finally,empirical relationships between surface roughness(r) and the flotation kinetics constant(k) of quartz particles as k=A+Br+Cr0.5lnr+D/lnr+E/r and k=A+Br are presented,in which A,B,C,D and E are constants related to experimental conditions and mineralogical properties of mineral. 展开更多
