基于加速器高阶传输映射的非线性效应解析分析,具有物理图像清晰、守辛、准确的优点,但其缺点是适用范围较窄。为了扩展非线性效应解析分析的适用范围,提出一种模拟李指数运算过程的神经网络层并构建了用于预测带电粒子非线性行为的新... 基于加速器高阶传输映射的非线性效应解析分析,具有物理图像清晰、守辛、准确的优点,但其缺点是适用范围较窄。为了扩展非线性效应解析分析的适用范围,提出一种模拟李指数运算过程的神经网络层并构建了用于预测带电粒子非线性行为的新型神经网络。经过大量粒子跟踪数据的学习,可用于预测带电粒子复杂的非线性运动行为,并从中提取线性传输矩阵与表征非线性运动的指数因子。为了验证该新型神经网络的有效性,跟踪一段由薄透镜磁铁组成的磁聚焦结构得到大量的训练数据,并对所提出的神经网络进行训练。训练后的神经网络在测试数据集上表现良好,测试数据的损失函数方均根小于8×10^(-4),达到了预测带电粒子非线性行为的目的。 展开更多

Transmission data for 12 MV bremsstrahlung beams produced by the process for continuous-pulsed 12 MV electrons coming from a linear accelerator hitting a 1.2mm thick plane tantalum target have been acquired with a combination of iron and Telfon attenuators. Two solid state dosimeters with LiF-TLD material surrounded Telfon were used as detectors. It has been checked that the experimental system achieves reasonably narrow-beam geometry by Monte Carlo simulations. From these transmission data, the original energy photon spectrum has been reconstructed using the iterative least-squares technique and compared with the spectrum calculated with Monte Carlo code system EGSnrc. The comparison shows that the numerical technique for analysis of transmission data can represent 12 MV bremsstrahlung spectrum acceptably well. The purpose of our work is to provide an effective way to reconstruct an unknown photon spectrum with high energy component and prove the correctness of this way. 展开更多

In order to improve aerodynamic performance and efficiency, monitoring the geometry and position information of the internal structure with the aero-engine under various operational statuses is an important task. In this paper, a novel design of industrial computed tomography(ICT) system with a linac as X-ray source is proposed to complete the task. The major advantage of the proposed system is that it can provide visualized images of internal structures of the running aero-engine without physical disturbance, which makes it possible to extract the accurate geometry information. The main idea behind this design is to measure the projection data from various views for reconstructions making use of the rotations of the aero-engine blades, instead of the mechanical rotations in the conventional ICT system. However, due to high speed rotation of the aero-engine blades,the system faces more challenges than conventional ICT systems both in data acquisitions and reconstruction algorithms. The challenges and corresponding solutions are presented in this paper. In conclusion, the proposed ICT system provides a powerful tool for monitoring the running aero-engines. 展开更多

We propose the construction of a compact linac as the injector of a cancer therapy facility at the Institute of Modern Physics(IMP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS). Based on a traditional setup, a new compact fast-bunching design is first introduced to optimize the 600 keV/u RFQ with a 0.05 pm A ^(12)C^(4+) beam. This shortens the RFQ structure length from the standard design value of272–230 cm while effectively regulating the particle loss and emittance growth. In addition, a detailed error analysis was performed after the optimization process. The error sources cover input beam parameters errors, machining errors and alignment errors. The simulation results show that the beam loss and emittance growth of the RFQ are acceptable and within typical ranges of error. 展开更多

A new linac injector CSR-LINAC for the Cooler Storage Ring of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL-CSR) is proposed to improve the performance of the HIRFL. As a key component of the CSRLINAC, the 108.48-MHz radio frequency quadrupole(RFQ) is under design at the Institute of Modern Physics.Heavy ions with mass-to-charge ratios of 3–7 will be accelerated from 4 to 300 keV/u by the RFQ. In the beam dynamics design, the New Four-Section Procedure is adopted to improve the transmission efficiency and obtain a compact structure. In this paper, a transmission efficiency of 98.0% in the 3.07-m-long cavity was obtained. The Interdigital H-type structure is employed because of its mechanical stability and high shunt impedance. The RF performance of the cavity is investigated by the electromagnetic simulation. The optimized results of the electric field to meet the beam dynamics requirements are presented in this paper. 展开更多

The software for industrial PC based device controller is developed based on VxWorks real-time operating system. The software for PLC and microcontroller are written with ladder software package and assemble language, respectively. PC with Linux and SUN workstation with Solaris are used as operator interfaces (OPI). High level control is made up of some EPICS tools and Tcl/Tk scripts. 展开更多
