In this work,hydrothermal method was used to prepare the CaZnAl-CO3 ternary layered double hydroxides(CaZnAl-CO3-LDHs)with various Ca/Zn/Al molar ratios,which were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier trans...In this work,hydrothermal method was used to prepare the CaZnAl-CO3 ternary layered double hydroxides(CaZnAl-CO3-LDHs)with various Ca/Zn/Al molar ratios,which were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscope(FT-IR)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)techniques.The obtained results demonstrate that the samples were well-crystallized and flake-structured.The CaZnAl-CO3-LDHs used alone for thermal stability of poly(vinyl chloride)(PVC)resin,with different Ca/Zn/Al molar ratios and varying additive amounts,were investigated through the tests such as static thermal aging,mass loss and congo red,respectively.The optimum Ca/Zn/Al molar ratio and additive amount were 3.6:0.4:2 and 5 phr(parts per hundred PVC resin),respectively.In addition,the synergistic effects of Ca3.6Zn0.4Al2-CO3-LDHs and CaSt2 were discussed in detail,showing better thermal stability compared with Ca3.6Zn0.4Al2-CO3-LDHs used alone,and the optimum additive amounts of Ca3.6Zn0.4Al2-LDHs and CaSt2 were 6 and 1.0 phr,respectively.展开更多
The laminated overburden model(La Model)has been widely used for pillar design and stability analysis.As a boundary element program,the La Model program is sensitive to the boundary condition,which should be considere...The laminated overburden model(La Model)has been widely used for pillar design and stability analysis.As a boundary element program,the La Model program is sensitive to the boundary condition,which should be considered before creating the model.To eliminate the boundary effect in a La Model pillar stability analysis,a suitable boundary buffer zone is needed around the model edge.The radius of influence(R)and the abutment load extent(D)are two major factors that affect the stresses and displacements calculated in LaM odel.To determine the optimum buffer zone extent,a database of case histories was analyzed using the La Model program.Values for R and D were varied until a buffer zone having negligible influence on the pillar stability factor(SF)of the active mining zone(AMZ)was determined.展开更多
High-quality antiferromagnetic(AFM)θ-phase manganese nitride(MnN)films were successfully grown on MgO(001)substrates by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy.Structural analysis confirms the high-quality MnN film ha...High-quality antiferromagnetic(AFM)θ-phase manganese nitride(MnN)films were successfully grown on MgO(001)substrates by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy.Structural analysis confirms the high-quality MnN film has a tetragonal distortion with a c/a ratio of~0.98.The film exhibits exceptional stability in both aqueous and ambient conditions,which is a crucial factor for practical applications.Electrical transport reveals its metallic behavior with an upturn at low temperatures,which could be attributed to the Kondo effect originated from nitrogen vacancy-induced magnetic impurities.Room temperature exchange bias has been demonstrated in a MnN/CoFeB heterostructure,verifying the AFM ordering of MnN.Considering its high Néel temperature~650 K,superior stability,and low-cost,this work highlights the epitaxial MnN films as a promising candidate for AFM spintronic applications.展开更多
