In the proposed scheme, the Channel State Information (CSI) feedback of cell-edge user for the local service cell and the adjacent interference cell are separately quantized. Based on the upper bound of the rate loss of cell-edge user due to the limited feedback, the number of feedback bits for quantized CSI of the local service cell and the adjacent cell are optimized with the fixed total bits of the limited feedback. The simulation shows that our proposed scheme of feedback bits allocation efficiently decreases the interference and increases the rate of systems compared with that of equal bits allocation and those of other allocations.展开更多

Internet traffic characterisation and application identification are, therefore, more important for efficient network management. In this paper, we construct flow graphs from detailed Internet traffic data collected from the public networks of Internet Service Providers. We analyse the community structures of the flow graph that is naturally formed by different applications. The community size, degree distribution of the community, and community overlap of 10 Internet applications are investigated. We further study the correlations between the communities from different applications. Our results provide deep insights into the behaviour Internet applications and traffic, which is helpful for both network management and user behaviour analysis.展开更多

The MUVFS offers a storage volume view for each authorized user who can access only the data in his own storage volume, the security scheme enables all users to encrypt and decrypt the data of their own storage view at client-side, and the USN server needs only to check the users’ identities and the data’s integrity. Experiments were performed to compare the sequential read, write and read/write rates of NFS+MUVFS+secure_module with those of NFS. The results indicate that the security of the USN is improved greatly with little influence on the system performance when the MUVFS and the security scheme are integrated into it.展开更多
