To study the bearing performance of the pile...Time effect of wet drilling pile is investigated through the static load experiment on pile No. 22 of Guanhe Bridge. Post-grouting under pile tip is adopted in the project. To study the bearing performance of the pile, the self-balanced method is used and two load cells are assembled in the pile body. The experiments are carried out before and after post-grouting. The upper part of the pile is not influenced by post-grouting under the pile tip. Experimental results of the upper part of the pile show that the bearing capacity and the rigidity of wet drilling pile increase with time passing on. Analysis results show the time effect of wet drilling pile is influenced by many factors, such as alteration of stress field around pile, characteristics of soil around pile, variety of mud cake, and property of residue under pile tip.展开更多
The finite element method (FEM) is introduced to calculate the oil film pressure and temperature distribution of a journal bearing. The perturbation is performed directly on the finite element equation. Consequently...The finite element method (FEM) is introduced to calculate the oil film pressure and temperature distribution of a journal bearing. The perturbation is performed directly on the finite element equation. Consequently, the Jacobian matrices of the oil film forces are concisely obtained. The equilibrium position of the bearing with a given static load is found by the Newton-Raphson method. As byproducts, dynamic coefficients are obtained simultaneously without any extra computing time. From the numerical results, it is concluded that the effects of film temperature on stiffness coefficients are bigger than those on damping coefficients. With the increase of rotational speed, the load capacity and the stiffness coefficients of the journal bearing are increased when the eccentricity is small, while decreased when the eccentricity is big.展开更多
The front abutment pressure of a fully-mechanized workface of 11061 soft coal isolated island of Liangbei Coal Mine was measured and studied using a self-developed mining-induced stress monitoring system associated wi...The front abutment pressure of a fully-mechanized workface of 11061 soft coal isolated island of Liangbei Coal Mine was measured and studied using a self-developed mining-induced stress monitoring system associated with electromagnetic radiation technology, and the effects of abutment pressure distribution on strata behavior we discussed. The results indicate that the miningdnduced influencing distance advanced at the fully-mechanized working face of soft coal isolated island is larger than that at the gen- eral working face at the isolated island, besides the fracture zone in front of working face was widened to some extent, and the influencing range caused by relaxations on both roadways became bigger with the advancing working face. Moreover, it can be indicated that mining has significant effect on strata behav- ior of fully-mechanized working face of soft coal isolated island, which is mostly distributed in the area of stress concentration. The research results have an important reference value for revealing the distribution pattern of the front abutment pressure of a fully-mechanized working face of soft coal isolated island, and controlling the coal-rock dynamic disaster occurrence under similar mining conditions.展开更多
