为解决锚杆低应变动测分析时,应力波速缺乏有效的量化手段的问题,进行多点布测方式下锚杆锚固质量的室内测试实验,并采用db6小波的3尺度或4尺度分析方法对测试信号进行分析。研究表明,多点布测的方式能准确确定波速的大小和波速传播过... 为解决锚杆低应变动测分析时,应力波速缺乏有效的量化手段的问题,进行多点布测方式下锚杆锚固质量的室内测试实验,并采用db6小波的3尺度或4尺度分析方法对测试信号进行分析。研究表明,多点布测的方式能准确确定波速的大小和波速传播过程中的变化大小在顶端传感器信号中的反应;对于单一缺陷的锚杆,采用平均波速计算的缺陷位置和锚杆长度与实际结果吻合,对于多缺陷锚杆,采用分段计算法能避免各测段波速离散性的影响,提高应力波检测精度;波速离散性较大,采用应力波速变化值比应力波速更能反映锚杆质量;锚杆的底端反射时间可在低频信号a3或a4中反应是由于低频信号反应大缺陷、高频反应细部缺陷的缘故。 展开更多

The characteristics of the flowfields of a synthetic jet actuator are experimentally investigated with the slot-nozzle driven by the piezoelectric membrane. The particle image velocimetry (PIV) and the hot-wire anemometer are utilized to measure the flowfields and the velocity profiles of the actuator with different actuating factors. Analytical results show that pairs of counter-rotating vortices are generated near the nozzle. With the development of the synthetic ject, the synthetic jet rapidly spreads in the slot-width direction; while in the slot-length direction, it contracts firstly and slowly spreads. The centerline velocity distribution has a up-down tendency varying with axial distances, and accelerates to its maximum at z/b= 10. The transverse velocity profile across the slot-width is centro-symmetric and self-similar. However, the velocity profiles across the slot-length are saddle-like near the nozzle. It shows that there are two resonance frequencies for the actuator. If the actuator works with the resonance frequency, the vorticity and the velocity of the synthetic jet are higher than those of other frequencies. Compared with the continuous jet, the synthetic jet shows special flow characteristics. 展开更多

For establishing the equation of the capacitive target detection accurately, the distributing characteristics of the charges on the bomb body with capacitance fuze were explored. Continuous charges were analyzed dispersively. Based on the Coulomb's law, the dynamic equilibrium equations of the inducing charges on the bomb body were set up. For the four cases of d 0/L (the ratio between the electrode distance and the bomb length), the curves of the charge's distribution were given. It was concluded that: ① the charge density decreases steadily from the end near the frontal electrode to the bomb tail; ② the declining rate of the density is governed by d 0/L , the larger the value of d 0/L ,the higher the declining rate, and vice versa. 展开更多

Structural health monitoring(SHM)in-service is very important for wind turbine system.Because the central wavelength of a fiber Bragg grating(FBG)sensor changes linearly with strain or temperature,FBG-based sensors are easily applied to structural tests.Therefore,the monitoring of wind turbine blades by FBG sensors is proposed.The method is experimentally proved to be feasible.Five FBG sensors were set along the blade length in order to measure distributed strain.However,environmental or measurement noise may cover the structural signals.Dual-tree complex wavelet transform(DT-CWT)is suggested to wipe off the noise.The experimental studies indicate that the tested strain fluctuate distinctly as one of the blades is broken.The rotation period is about 1 s at the given working condition.However,the period is about 0.3 s if all the wind blades are in good conditions.Therefore,strain monitoring by FBG sensors could predict damage of a wind turbine blade system.Moreover,the studies indicate that monitoring of one blade is adequate to diagnose the status of a wind generator. 展开更多

More accurate forecasting of rock burst might be possible from observations of electromagnetic radiation emitted in the mine.We analyzed experimental observations and field data from the Muchengjian coal mine to study the relationship between electromagnetic radiation signal intensity and stress during the fracturing of coal, or rock, and samples under load.The results show that the signal intensity is positively correlated with stress.In addition, we investigated the change in the electromagnetic radiation intensity, the supporting resistance in a real coal mine environment, and the coal or rock stress in the mining area.The data analysis indicates that:1) electromagnetic radiation intensity can accurately reflect the distribution of stress in the mining area;and, 2) there is a correlation between electromagnetic radiation intensity and supporting resistance.The research has some practical guiding significance for rock burst forecasting and for the prevention of accidents in coal mines. 展开更多

Satellite remote sensing has become a primary data source for fire danger rating prediction, fuel and fire mapping, fire monitoring, and fire ecology research. This paper summarizes the research achievements in these research fields, and discusses the future trend in the use of satellite remote-sensing techniques in wildfire management. Fuel-type maps from remote-sensing data can now be produced at spatial and temporal scales quite adequate for operational fire management applications. US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) satellites are being used for fire detection worldwide due to their high temporal resolution and ability to detect fires in remote regions. Results can be quickly presented on many Websites providing a valuable service readily available to fire agency. As cost-effective tools, satellite remote-sensing techniques play an important role in fire mapping. Improved remote-sensing techniques have the potential to date older fire scars and provide estimates of burn severity. Satellite remote sensing is well suited to assessing the extent of biomass burning, a prerequisite for estimating emissions at regional and global scales, which are needed for better understanding the effects of fire on climate change. The types of satellites used in fire research are also discussed in the paper. Suggestions on what remote-sensing efforts should be completed in China to modernize fire management technology in this country are given. 展开更多

A novel Compressed-Sensing-based(CS-based)Distributed Video Coding(DVC)system,called Distributed Adaptive Compressed Video Sensing(DISACOS),is proposed in this paper.In this system,the input frames are divided into key frames and non-key frames,which are encoded by block CS sampling.The key frames are encoded as CS measurements at substantially higher rates than the non-key frames and decoded by the Smoothed Projected Landweber(SPL)algorithm using multi-hypothesis predictions.For the non-key frames,a small number of CS measurements are first transmitted to detect blocks having low-quality Side Information(SI)generated by the conventional interpolation or extrapolation at the decoder;then,another group of CS measurements are sampled again upon the decoder’s request.To fully utilise the CS measurements,we adaptively allocate these measurements to each block in terms of different edge features.Finally,the residual frame is reconstructed using the SPL algorithm and the decoded non-key frame is simply determined as the sum of the residual frame and the SI.Experimental results have revealed that our CS-based DVC system yields better rate-distortion performance when compared with other schemes. 展开更多

Wireless Mesh Networks is vulnerable to attacks due to the open medium, dynamically changing network topology, cooperative algorithms, Lack of centralized monitoring and management point. The traditional way of protecting networks with firewalls and encryption software is no longer suffi- cient and effective for those features. In this paper, we propose a distributed intrusion detection ap- proach based on timed automata. A cluster-based detection scheme is presented, where periodically a node is elected as the monitor node for a cluster. These monitor nodes can not only make local intrusion detection decisions, but also cooperatively take part in global intrusion detection. And then we con- struct the Finite State Machine (FSM) by the way of manually abstracting the correct behaviors of the node according to the routing protocol of Dynamic Source Routing (DSR). The monitor nodes can verify every node's behavior by the Finite State Ma- chine (FSM), and validly detect real-time attacks without signatures of intrusion or trained data.Compared with the architecture where each node is its own IDS agent, our approach is much more efficient while maintaining the same level of effectiveness. In order to solve the distributed detection fusion problem of underwater target detection, when the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the acoustic channel is low, a new strategy for united detection fusion and communication using multiple sensors was proposed. The performance of detection fusion was studied and compared based on the Neyman-Pearson principle when the binary phase shift keying (BPSK) and on-off keying (OOK) modes were used by the local sensors. The comparative simulation and analysis between the optimal likelihood ratio test and the proposed strategy was completed, and both the theoretical analysis and simulation indicate that using the proposed new strategy could improve the detection performance effectively. In theory, the proposed strategy of united detection fusion and communication is of great significance to the establishment of an underwater target detection system. 展开更多
