The results indicate that silicone coupling agent (KH-550) can improve the shear strength of the epoxy silicone adhesive effectively. The mass fraction of the toughener in the epoxy silicone adhesive plays an important role in its properties. When the mass fraction of the toughener is less than 14%, the shear strength of the adhesive is low. When the mass fraction of the toughener is over 33%, thermal properties and shear strength of the adhesive decrease with the increasing of the toughener. The mass fraction of toughener of 25% results in good integral properties of the epoxy silicone adhesive. The morphologic analysis indicates that the micro-phase separation exists in the epoxy molecular chain and the silicone molecular chain of the epoxy silicone adhesive.展开更多

The effect of recirculating in micro-combustors is noticeable, hence it is necessary to present a model to describe the combustion process in these technologies. Recirculation phenomenon is evaluated by entering the exhausted heat from the post flam zone into the preheat zone. In this work, for modeling of random situation at the flame front, the source term in the equation of energy was modeled considering random situation for volatizing of particles in preheat zone. The comparison of obtained results from the proposed model by experimental data regards that the random model has a better agreement with experimental data than non-random model. Also, according to the results obtained by this model, wall temperature affects the amount of heat recirculation directly and higher values of wall temperature will lead to higher amounts of burning velocity and flame temperature.展开更多

The results of the simulations show that crystallographic orientation has significant influence on the growth behavior of the void. Different active slip systems of the regions around the void cause the discontinuity in lattice rotation around the void, and the corner-like region is formed. In the case of the void located at grain boundary, large heterogeneous deformation occurs between the two grains, and the equivalent plastic deformation along grain boundary near the void in the case of θ=45^o (θ is the angle between grain boundary direction and X-axis) is larger than the others. Large difference of orientation factor of the two grains leads to large equivalent plastic deformation along grain boundary, and the unit cell is more likely to fail by intergranular fracture.展开更多

The fixed-bed thermostatic adsorption experiments were conducted under certain conditions, where toluene, acetone, and 1, 2-dichloroethane acted as adsorbents. Then, the incidence relation between the experimental results and the activated carbon pore structure was analyzed. After that, the results of the correlation analysis were verified in accordance with fractal theory and adsorption characteristic curve analysis. The results show that the pore diameter gradient is helpful for strengthening the intemal diffusion. Under the same condition, the adsorption of organic gases tends to be selective, and the positions of toluene, acetone and 1, 2-dichloroethane adsorbed on the activated carbon are mainly in the ranges of 1.27-1.49 nm, 0.67-0.84 nm and 1.39-1.75 nm, respectively. The relationship between adsorption capacity and activated carbon pore volume can accurately explain the spreading process of the adsorbents in the activated carbon.展开更多
