On-machine measurement(OMM)stands out as a pivotal technology in complex curved surface adaptive machining.However,the complex structure inherent in workpieces poses a significant challenge as the stylus orientation frequently shifts during the measurement process.Consequently,a substantial amount of time is allocated to calibrating pre-travel error and probe movement.Furthermore,the frequent movement of machine tools also increases the influence of machine errors.To enhance both accuracy and efficiency,an optimization strategy for the OMM process is proposed.Based on the kinematic chain of the machine tools,the relationship between the angle combination of rotary axes,the stylus orientation,and the calibration position of pre-travel error is disclosed.Additionally,an OMM efficiency optimization model for complex curved surfaces is developed.This model is solved to produce the optimal efficiency angle combinations for each to-be-measured point.Within each angle combination,the effects of positioning errors on measurement results are addressed by coordinate system offset and measurement result compensation method.Finally,the experiments on an impeller are used to demonstrate the practical utility of the proposed method. 展开更多

Aseries of [(Fe_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.2))_(0.75-0.03x)B_(0.2)Si_(0.05+0.03x)]_(96)Nb_(4) amorphous alloy composite coatings were prepared by adjusting the silicon content(x=0,1,2,3,4,5,and 6)and their microstructures and tribological properties were investigated by laser cladding technique.Additionally,the effect of Si on the glass forming ability(GFA)of the layers was understood.Results show that an appropriate Si content can refine the microstructure of the FeCoNiBSiNb laser cladding layers and improve the mechanical and tribological properties.The hardness of the coating layer increases monotonically with the Si content.At the Si content of 4.8at%(x=0),the coating layer exhibits a relatively low hardness(734.2HV 0.1).Conversely,at the silicon content of 13.44at%(x=3),the coating layer exhibits the highest hardness(1106HV 0.1).The non-crystalline content and tensile strength exhibit an initial increase,followed by a subsequent decrease.At x=2,the coating exhibits its maximum fracture strength(2880 MPa).However,when x>2,the fracture strength of the coating decreases with an increase in x.Conversely,with an increase in Si content,the wear volume loss initially decreases and then increases.At a Si content of 10.56at%(x=2),the coating exhibits the highest non-crystalline content(42%),the highest tensile strength(2880 MPa),and the most favorable dry friction performance. 展开更多

In order to obtain high-density dual-scale ceramic particles(8.5 wt.%SiC+1.5 wt.%TiC)reinforced Al-Mg Sc-Zr composites with uniform microstructure,50 nm TiC and 7μm SiC particles were pre-dispersed into 15−53μm aluminum alloy powders by low-speed ball milling and mechanical mixing technology,respectively.Then,the effects of laser energy density,power and scanning rate on the density of the composites were investigated based on selective laser melting(SLM)technology.The effect of micron-sized SiC and nano-sized TiC particles on solidification structure,mechanical properties and fracture behaviors of the composites was revealed and analyzed in detail.Interfacial reaction and phase variations in the composites with varying reinforced particles were emphatically considered.Results showed that SiC-TiC particles could significantly improve forming quality and density of the SLMed composites,and the optimal relative density was up to 100%.In the process of laser melting,a strong chemical reaction occurs between SiC and aluminum matrix,and micron-scale acicular Al_(4)SiC_(4) bands were formed in situ.There was no interfacial reaction between TiC particles and aluminum matrix.TiC/Al semi-coherent interface had good bonding strength.Pinning effect of TiC particles in grain boundaries could prevent the equiaxial crystals from growing and transforming into columnar crystals,resulting in grain refinement.The optimal ultimate tensile strength(UTS),yield strength(YS),elongation(EL)and elastic modulus of the SiC-TiC/Al-Mg-Sc-Zr composite were~394 MPa,~262 MPa,~8.2%and~86 GPa,respectively.The fracture behavior of the composites included ductile fracture of Al matrix and brittle cleavage fracture of Al_(4)SiC_(4) phases.A large number of cross-distributed acicular Al_(4)SiC_(4) bands were the main factors leading to premature failure and fracture of SiC-TiC/Al-Mg-Sc-Zr composites. 展开更多

A 1/3-scale reinfored concrete(RC) frame of unequal storey height with specially shaped columns was tested under low frequency cyclic loading.The damage characteristic,bearing capacity,deformation capacity and ductility were analyzed.The restoring force model of the frame was obtained based on the study of the hysteresis curve measured in experiment,and the stiffness degeneration characteristics of every storey of the frame were analyzed.Finally the accumulated damage was analyzed with the damage assessment model.It is shown that the seismic behavior of this frame of unequal storey height with specially shaped columns is generally good,but the bottom of first floor column is a weak part,which should be paid more attention in design,and the restoring force model derived from this experiment can be seen as a valuable guide for design and non-linear finite element analysis for this kind of structure. 展开更多

Based on the discussion about working mechanism of horizontal reinforcement and that of vertical reinforcement,respectively,the working mechanism of two-direction reinforced composite foundation was studied.The enhancing effect of horizontal reinforcement on vertical reinforced composite foundation was analyzed.A simplified calculation method for such two-direction reinforced working system was presented.A model experiment was carried out to validate the proposed method.In the experiment,geocell reinforcement worked as the horizontal reinforcement,while gravel pile composite foundation worked as the vertical reinforcement.The results show that the calculated curve is close to the measured one.The installation of geosynthetic reinforcement can increase the bearing capacity of composite foundation by nearly 68% at normal foundation settlement,which suggests that the enhancing effect by geosynthetic reinforcement should be taken into account in current design/analysis methods. 展开更多

The forming regularity and the relationship between the composition and the property of B2O3BaOZnO glass were investigated. The results show that the composition range for forming B2O3BaOZnO glass is very wide, but the content of B2O3 has a limit within mole fraction of 25%75%. When the content of B2O3 is over the limit, the melt will be divided into two phases with different compositions and structures, whereas too low content of B2O3 will result in the crystallization of the melt during the cooling process. The thermal expansion coefficient, the transition temperature and the resistivity of the glass at room temperature are (510)×10 -6℃ -1, 480620℃ and (1.53.0)×10 10Ω·m, respectively. 展开更多

In early morning of Aug 8th, 2010, the rain-triggered tremendous debris flows broke out simultaneously at the Sanyanyu ravine and Luojiayu ravine, which locate in the north part of Zhouqu County town. The debris flow is the most severe event of the same kind of disasters in the past sixty years in China, which caused great losses of people's lives and properties. Based on field investigation, remote sensing image interpretation and analysis of local climatological data, the local topographical conditions, active tectonic movement, massive debris source and torrential rains were the main formation causes which induced the catastrophic debris flows. Moreover, detailed geological surveys were carried out following the disaster, the other geological potential hazard sites were found out, and the geological and seismic hazard assessment has been put into practice. At last, scientific and appropriate countermeasures have been suggested to prevent and mitigate the extraordinarily serious debris flow. 展开更多

The effects of alkali oxides (Na2O and K2O addition on both the sintering behavior and dielectric properties of Ca-AI-B-Si-O glass/Al2O3 composites were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the increasing amount of alkali oxides in the glass causes the decrease of [SiO4], which results in the decrease of the continuity of glass network, and leads to the decrease of the softening temperature Tf of the samples and the increasing trend of crystallization. And that deduces corresponding rise of densification, dielectric constant, dielectric loss of the low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) materials and the decrease of its thermal conductivity.
