The N-doped TiO2-loaded halloysite nanotubes(N-Ti O2/HNTs) nanocomposites were prepared by using chemical vapor deposition method which was realized in autoclave. The photocatalytic activity of nanocomposites was evaluated by virtue of the decomposition of formaldehyde gas under solar-light irradiation. The XRD patterns verified that the anatase structured TiO2 was deposited on HNTs. The TEM images showed that the surface of HNTs was covered with nanosized TiO2 with a particle size of ca. 20 nm. The UV-vis spectra indicated that the N-Ti O2/HNTs presented a significant absorption band in the visible region between 400 nm and 600 nm. Under solar-light irradiation, the highest degradation rate of formaldehyde gas attained 90% after 100 min of solar-light irradiation. The combination of the photocatalytic property of TiO2 and the unique structure of halloysite would assert a promising perspective in degradation of organic pollutants. 展开更多

We presented a wireless endoscope system developed on the embedded Linux platform. This wireless endoscope system consists of three parts: the endoscope capsule,the portable equipment and the image workstation,which make this system wireless and portable. Hardware design of this system and software design of the portable equipment are described. In clinical use,patients swallow the endoscope capsule for gastrointestinal inspection. The portable equipment receives images of gastrointestinal tract via the radio frequency module while it sets and reads back parameters of the capsule via the low frequency module. Acquired image data can be saved as a FAT32 format file in an universal serial bus disk. Images can be processed and reviewed at an Microsoft Windows PC workstation in the next stage. The image acquired by this wireless endoscope system is quite effective with clear details of gastrointestinal tract. However,the endoscope capsule was large,making it difficult to swallow. So the printed circuit board design of endoscope capsule needs to be improved. 展开更多

In this paper, an immune neural network (INN) along with water mine model recognition system based on multi-agent system is proposed. A modified clonal selection algorithm for constructing such an INN is presented based on clonal selection principle. The INN is a two-layer Boolean network whose number of outputs is adaptable according to the task and the affinity threshold. Adjusting the affinity threshold can easily control different recognition precision, and the affinity threshold also can control the capability of noise tolerance. 展开更多

The ability of accurate and scalable mobile device recognition is critically important for mobile network operators and ISPs to understand their customers' behaviours and enhance their user experience.In this paper,we propose a novel method for mobile device model recognition by using statistical information derived from large amounts of mobile network traffic data.Specifically,we create a Jaccardbased coefficient measure method to identify a proper keyword representing each mobile device model from massive unstructured textual HTTP access logs.To handle the large amount of traffic data generated from large mobile networks,this method is designed as a set of parallel algorithms,and is implemented through the MapReduce framework which is a distributed parallel programming model with proven low-cost and high-efficiency features.Evaluations using real data sets show that our method can accurately recognise mobile client models while meeting the scalability and producer-independency requirements of large mobile network operators.Results show that a 91.5% accuracy rate is achieved for recognising mobile client models from 2 billion records,which is dramatically higher than existing solutions. 展开更多

Chemical Manganese Dioxide (CMD) was prepared by an alkali-oxidation method. There are several virtues to this environmental friendly and clean process, including the nontoxic and harmless reagents and products, easy operations, no pollutants, easily obtained raw materials and moderate reaction conditions. The synthesized manganese dioxide was characterized by XRD and SEM. The particles were small, consisting primarily of α-MnO2 and γ-MnO2. Experimental results showed that the optimum conditions were: MnSOa.H20 to NaOH ratio, 1.0:2.4; catalyst concentration (catalyst TF-2), 6% of the MnSO4; initial solution pH, 11; reaction time and temperature, 20 min and 80 ℃; air flow, 0.20 m3/h; and, agitation rate, 700 r/rain. The conversion of MnSO4 can exceed 80% under these optimum conditions. 展开更多
