By analyzing and fitting the CO2 evolved rates with SOC mineralization, the results showed that active carbon pools accounted tor 1.0% to 8.5% of SOC with an average of mean resistant times (MRTs) for 24 days, and slow carbon pools accounted for 91% to 99% of SOC with an average of MRTs for 179 years. The sizes and MRTs of slow carbon pools showed that SOC in Qilian Mountain sites was more difficult to decompose than that in Changbai Mountain sites. By analyzing the effects of temperature, soil clay content and elevation on SOC mineralization, results indicated that mineralization of SOC was directly related to temperature and that content of accumulated SOC and size of slow carbon pools from Changbai Mountain and Qilian Mountain sites increased linearly with increasing clay content, respectively, which showed temperature and clay content could make greater effect on mineralization of SOC.展开更多

Herein, a new type of yolk-shell structured Si/C composite (denoted as TSC-PDA-B) has been intelligently designed by rational engineering and precise control. In the novel structure, the multiple Si nanoparticles with small size are successfully encapsulated into the porous carbon shells with double layers benefiting from the strong etching effect of HF. The TSC-PDA-B product prepared is evaluated as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The TSC-PDA-B product exhibits an excellent lithium storage performance with a high initial capacity of 2108 mAh g^-1 at a current density of 100 mA g^-1 and superior cycling performance of 1113 mAh g^-1 over 200 cycles. The enhancement of lithium storage performance may be attributed to the construction of hybrid structure including small Si nanoparticles, high surface area, and double carbon shells, which can not only increase electrical conductiv让y and intimate electrical contact with Si nanoparticles, but also provide built-in buffer voids for Si nanoparticles to expand freely without damaging the carbon layer. The present findings can provide some scientific insights into the design and the application of advanced Si-based anode materials in energy storage fields.展开更多

X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), infrared spectroscopy (IR), thermogravimetry analysis (TG), atomic absorption spectroscopy and elementary analysis are employed for the catalyst characterization. The results show that, the formation of Pb4O(OC6H5)6 through the reaction of phenol and lead species in the catalyst leads to the crystal phase change of active component and serious leaching of lead, which is the cause of the catalyst deactivation. Active carbon (AC) has attracted much attention as a promising electrode material for electric double-layer capacitors (EDLCs). Here, a facile strategy has been employed to fabricate high-performance EDLCs using the surface-oxygen functionalized active carbon (FAC) as an electrode and 2 M KOH with K3Fe(CN)6 as an electrolyte. In this system, K3Fe(CN)6 was used as a redox additive to enhance the performance of EDLCs. A 38.5% increase in specific capacitance (207.7 F g-1) was achieved compared with the KOH electrolyte without adding K3Fe(CN)G (152.9 F g-1), due to the synergistic effects between oxygenic functional groups and redox electrolyte. These findings provide an alternative route to improve the performance of EDLCs, which are promising candidates for the broad applications of high-performance supercapacitors.展开更多

In this paper the pore structure of typical commercial activated carbons, and various Mn-doped activated carbons prepared on a laboratory scale, are described. The pore structure was character-ized by N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms. Isotherms for K+ adsorption onto these activated carbons from the aqueous phase were also obtained. The experimental, equilibrium K+ adsorption data were fitted to the Langmuir, Freundlich or Temkin equations. Adsorption of K+ onto the activated carbons was measured and plotted as a function of time. The adsorption kinetic data were modeled by either pseudo-first or pseudo-second order equations. The Elvoich equation, a liquid film diffusion and an intra-particle diffusion model were used to fit the kinetic data. The results indicate that the adsorption of K+ onto activated carbon is influenced by many factors including pore size distribution, specific surface area and the surface chemistry of the activated carbons. The Temkin equation best describes the equilibrium adsorption data. The pseudo-second order model exactly describes the whole adsorption process, which is controlled by both liquid film and intra-particle diffusion.展开更多

The evolution of the structures and defect concentration of the VACNTs are tracked by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. During the growth, the catalyst particles are stayed constantly on the substrate. The precipitation of the second CNT layer happens at around 30 min as proved by SEM.During the growth of the first layer, catalyst nanoparticles are deactivated with the accumulation of amorphous carbon coatings on their surfaces, which leads to the termination of the growth of the first layer CNTs. Then, the catalyst particles are reactivated by the hydrogen in the gas flow, leading to the precipitation of the second CNT layer. The growth of the second CNT layer lifts the amorphous carbon coatings on catalyst particles and substrates. The release of mechanical energy by CNTs provides big enough energy to lift up amorphous carbon flakes on catalyst particles and substrates which finally stay at the interfaces of the two layers simulated by finite element analysis. The DWNT filament starts emitting incandescent light at voltage U =6V. Emission spectra of the DWNT below temperature 1250K can well be fitted to those of the blackbody radiation. The intensity of the incandescent light shows an exponential dependence on the voltage applied on the DWNT filaments. Using the measured EM parameters we calculate the EM wave absorption properties of a double-layer absorber, which is composed of OMC as an absorbing layer and M-doped OMC as the matching layer. The calculated results show that the EM wave absorption performance of OMC/OMC–Co (2.2mm/2.1mm) is improved remarkably. The obtained effective absorption bandwidth is up to 10.3 GHz and the minimum reflection loss reaches 47.6 dB at 14.3 GHz. The enhanced absorption property of OMC/OMC–Co can be attributed to the impedance match between the air and the absorber. Moreover, it can be found that for the absorber with a given matching layer, a larger value of -tanδ ε (= tan δ ε absorbing tan δε matching ) can induce better absorption performance, indicating that the difference in impedance between the absorbing layer and the matching layer plays an important role in improving the absorption property of double-layer absorbers.展开更多

The two-dimensional nonlinear thermal conduction equations, with the deposited energy in the target taken as source term, were derived and solved by finite differential method. As a result, the two-dimensional spatial and temporal evolution profiles of temperature were obtained for a titanium/aluminum double-layer target irradiated by a pulse of HIPIB. The effects of ion beam current density on the phase state of the target materials near the film and substrate interface were analyzed. 文摘Ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) and metal-doped (M-doped) OMC composites are prepared, and their electromagnetic (EM) parameters are measured. Moreover, it can be found that for the absorber with a given matching layer, a larger value of -tanδ ε (= tan δ ε absorbing tan δε matching ) can induce better absorption performance, indicating that the difference in impedance between the absorbing layer and the matching layer plays an important role in improving the absorption property of double-layer absorbers.

文摘Interaction between high-intensity pulsed ion beam (HIPIB) and a double-layer target with titanium film on top of aluminum substrate was simulated. Both titanium and aluminum were melted near the interface after a shot when the ion beam current density fell in the range of 100 A/cm2 to 200 A/cm2.

文摘The critical lengths of an oscillator based on double-walled carbon nanotubes(DWCNTs)are studied by energy minimization and molecular dynamics simulation.Van der Waals(vdW)potential energy in DWCNTs is shown to be changed periodically with the lattice matching of the inner and outer tubes by using atomistic models with energy minimization method. If the coincidence length between the inner and outer tubes is long enough, the restoring force cannot drive the DWCNT to slide over the vdW potential barrier to assure the DWCNT acts as an oscillator. The critical coincidence lengths of the oscillators are predicted by a very simple equation and then confirmed with energy minimization method for both the zigzag/zigzag system and the armchair/armchair system. The critical length of the armchair/armchair system is much larger than that of the zigzag/zigzag system. The vdW potential energy fluctuation of the armchair/armchair system is weaker than that of the zigzag/zigzag system. So it is easier to slide over the barrier for the armchair/armchair system. The critical lengths of zigzag/zigzag DWCNTbased oscillator are found increasing along with temperature,by molecular dynamics simulations.

文摘Multifunctional nanocarrier-based theranostics is supposed to overcome some key problems in cancer treatment. In this work,a novel method for the preparation of a fluorescent mesoporous silica–carbon dot nanohybrid was developed.Carbon dots(CDs),from folic acid as the raw material, were prepared in situ and anchored on the surface of amino-modified mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs–NH2) via a microwave-assisted solvothermal reaction. The as-prepared nanohybrid(designated MSNs–CDs) not only exhibited strong and stable yellow emission but also preserved the unique features of MSNs(e.g.,mesoporous structure, large specific surface area, and good biocompatibility),demonstrating a potential capability for fluorescence imagingguided drug delivery.More interestingly, the MSNs–CDs nanohybrid was able to selectively target folate receptor-overexpressing cancer cells(e.g.,HeLa),indicating that folic acid still retained its function even after undergoing the solvothermal reaction.Benefited by these excellent properties, the fluorescent MSNs–CDs nanohybrid can be employed as a fluorescence-guided nanocarrier for the targeted deliveryof anticancer drugs(e.g.,doxorubicin),thereby enhancing chemotherapeutic efficacy and reducing side effects. Our studies may provide a facile strategy for the fabrication of multifunctional MSN-based theranostic platforms, which is beneficial in the diagnosis and therapy of cancers in future.
文摘The purpose of initial orbit determination, especially in the case of angles-only data for observation,is to obtain an initial estimate that is close enough to the true orbit to enable subsequent precision orbit determination processing to be successful. However, the classical angles-only initial orbit determination methods cannot deal with the observation data whose Earth-central angle is larger than 360°.In this paper,an improved double r-iteration initial orbit determination method to deal with the above case is presented to monitor geosynchronous Earth orbit objects for a spacebased surveillance system.Simulation results indicate that the improved double r-iteration method is feasible, and the accuracy of the obtained initial orbit meets the requirements of re-acquiring the object.

文摘Based on the situation and progress of marine oil/gas exploration in the Sichuan Basin,SW China, the whole petroleum system is divided for marine carbonate rocks of the basin according to the combinations of hydrocarbon accumulation elements, especially the source rock. The hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics of each whole petroleum system are analyzed, the patterns of integrated conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon accumulation are summarized, and the favorable exploration targets are proposed.Under the control of multiple extensional-convergent tectonic cycles, the marine carbonate rocks of the Sichuan Basin contain three sets of regional source rocks and three sets of regional cap rocks, and can be divided into the Cambrian,Silurian and Permian whole petroleum systems. These whole petroleum systems present mainly independent hydrocarbon accumulation, containing natural gas of affinity individually.Locally, large fault zones run through multiple whole petroleum systems, forming a fault-controlled complex whole petroleum system. The hydrocarbon accumulation sequence of continental shelf facies shale gas accumulation, marginal platform facies-controlled gas reservoirs, and intra-platform fault-and facies-controlled gas reservoirs is common in the whole petroleum system, with a stereoscopic accumulation and orderly distribution pattern.High-quality source rock is fundamental to the formation of large gas fields, and natural gas in a whole petroleum system is generally enriched near and within the source rocks. The development and maintenance of large-scale reservoirs are essential for natural gas enrichment, multiple sources, oil and gas transformation, and dynamic adjustment are the characteristics of marine petroleum accumulation, and good preservation conditions are critical to natural gas accumulation.Large-scale marginal-platform reef-bank facies zones, deep shale gas,and large-scale lithological complexes related to source-connected faults are future marine hydrocarbon exploration targets in the Sichuan Basin.

文摘The total and partial charge-changing cross sections of 28 Si on carbon targets at 736 and 723 A Me V are studied by CR-39 plastic nuclear track detectors using the HSP-1000 microscope system and the PitFit track measurement software. The values of the total charge-changing cross section are σtot=(11794-50) mb and σtot=(11864-42) mb at 736 and 723A MeV, respectively. The result is compared with the ones obtained by other experimental and theoretical results. The odd-even effect of the partial charge-changing cross section is observed.

文摘Measurement of the neutron yield is performed at a primary energy of 400 MeV/u carbons for the Pb target.Water-bath activation-foil method is used in a moderation measurement with Au foils to detect the moderated neutrons. The neutron yield is determined to be 18.4±2.1 per carbon by integrating the neutron flux over the entire water volume. The corresponding simulation values are performed by Geant4 code with three models to compare with the experimental results. The comparison shows that the calculated result with the INCL model is in good agreement with the experimental data.
