Process Optimization of Cu-en/AP Composite Microspheres Preparation by Electrostatic Spray Method Based on ANSYS Simulation

To investigate the process optimizationof Cu-en/AP composite microspheres preparation via electrostatic spraying,and to reveal the effects of droplet properties and flow rate variations on the experimental results during the electrostatic spraying process,the prepared process parameters of Cu-en/AP composite microspheres by electrostatic spray method under the orthogonal experimental design simulated by ANSYS(Fluent).The influence of flow rate,solvent ratio,and solid mass on the experimental results is examined using a controlled variable method.The results indicate that under the conditions of a flow rate of 2.67×10^(-3)kg/s an acetone-to-deionized water ratio of 1.5∶1.0,and a solid mass of 200 mg,the theoretical particle size of the composite microspheres can reach e nanoscale.Droplet trajectories in the electric field remain stable without significant deviation.The simulation results show that particle diameter decreases with increasing flow rate,with the trend leveling off around a flow rate of 1×10^(-3)kg/s.As the solvent ratio increases(with higher acetone content),particle diameter initially decreases,reaching a minimum around a ratio of 1.5∶1.0 before gradually increasing.Increasing the solid mass also reduces the particle diameter,with a linear increase in diameter observed at around 220 mg.Cu-en/AP composite microspheres with nanoscale dimensions were confirmed under these conditions by the final SEM images. 展开更多

A simulation-based multi-objective optimization approach for roll shifting strategy in hot strip mills was presented. Firstly, the effect of roll shifting strategy on wear contour was investigated by mtmerical simulation, and two evaluation indexes including edge smoothness and body smoothness of wear contours were introduced. Secondly, the edge smoothness average and body smoothness average of all the strips in a rolling campaign were selected as objective functions, and shifting control parameters as decision variables, the multi-objective method of MODE/D as the optimizer, and then a simulation-based multi-objective optimization model for roll shifting strategy was built. The experimental result shows that MODE/D can obtain a good Pareto-optimal front, which suggests a series of alternative solutions to roll shifting strategy. Moreover, the conflicting relationship between two objectives can also be found, which indicates another advantage of multi-objective optimization. Finally, industrial test confirms the feasibility of the multi-objective approach for roll shifting strategy, and it can improve strip profile and extend same width rolling miles of a rolling campaign from 35 km to 70 km. 展开更多

A simulation calculation model for the solubility of insoluble compound MmAa in complex system was established.According to coordination equilibrium principle,relevant dissociation reaction,complexation reaction,self-complexation reaction and protonation reaction during insoluble compound dissolving were considered and then the mass balance equations about solubility calculation were obtained.In the case analysis,the solubility of silver chloride in ammonia system was obtained by simulation calculation,and curved surface charts of thermodynamic equilibrium about the total concentration of silver ions,pH and concentration of ammonia ions were drawn correspondingly.The results show that under the conditions of room temperature and 6 mol/L ammonia concentration,the calculated solubility value of silver chloride(34 g/L) is close to the actual value(31 g/L),demonstrating that this model is suitable for solubility calculation of insoluble compound MmAa in the complex system. 展开更多

Design and optimization of a cavity-backed spiral antenna for use in 6-12 GHz band

The design and optimization of a self-complementary two-arm Archimedean spiral antenna backed by an absorptive cavity were presented. Parametric studies on the proposed antenna structure were carried out by using CST MWS. Simulation results show that the proper choice of spiral turns and cavity depth can miniaturize the dimensions of the cavity-backed spiral antenna presented here. According to simulation results, prototype antennas operating in the 6 12 GHz band are fabricated and the dimension of the proposed cavity-backed spiral antenna is 22 mm (diameter)×15 mm (height). The performance of the proposed antenna was measured and compared with the simulation results. It is shown that the experimental results are consistent with the theoretical predictions and the suggested antenna is good enough to adapt for various wideband applications. 展开更多
