Field investigation, sulfate ions content and corroded products analysis, macro/microscopic test were carried out. Results show that under the tunnel concrete lining structure and its served environmental conditions, sulfate solutions permeate concrete lining and accumulate on windward-side of concrete lining, resulting in the increase of sulfate ions content on windward-side and the diffusion of sulfate ions from windward-side to waterward-side, which cause the concrete lining of windward-side damaged seriously but the waterward-side of concrete lining is still in perfect condition. It is confirmed that structural characteristic of tunnel and environmental conditions lead to physical attack with the leaching of concrete and sodium sulfate crystallization as well as chemical corrosion with formation of gypsum in high sulfate concentration and formation of thaumasite in proper temperature rather than formation of ettringite. These achievements can provide academic and technical supports for understanding the deterioration mechanism of concrete lining as well as constructing railway tunnel under sulfate attack.展开更多

The fact that intrusions enriched in Th and Sr, and depleted in Rb and Ba in this area, suggests that the original magma roots in alkali basalt magma of upper mantle, with deep characteristics. It can be seen that the diagenesis environments are the island arc and active continental margin areas from the lg τ to lg σ diagram of intrusions. With the increase of SiO2, Fe2O3, MnO and P2O5 decrease, which shows that the magma of Yueshan area endured crystal fractionation of ferromanganese mineral and apatite in early evolution stage. With the further rise and evolution of magma, magma composition of calcium increased, meanwhile enriched in Zr, and depleted in Nb and Ta. This indicates that crustal component is gradually added, the assimilation and contamination occur between magma and crustal material, which includes the magma evolving, from calc-alkaline series to alkaline series. The results show that crystal fractionation, assimilation and contamination are the main evolution law of magma in this area.展开更多

Chang 9 sand body mainly developed five basic vertical structures, namely box shape, campaniform, infundibuliform, finger and dentoid. The vertical stacking patterns of multilayer sand body was complex, and the common shapes included box shape + box shape, campaniform + campaniform, campaniform + box shape, infundibuliform + infundibuliform, campaniform + infundibuliform, box shape + campaniform, box shape + infundibuliform, and finger + finger. Based on the analysis on major dominating factors of vertical structure of sand body, sedimentary environment, sedimentary facies and rise, fall and cycle of base level are identified as the major geological factors that control the vertical structure of single sand body as well as vertical stacking patterns and distribution of multistory sand bodies.展开更多
