Methods Using Youla parameterization of the stabilizers this problem was transformed into a strong stabilization problem associated with a related plant family G (s, δ). Results A necessary solvability condition was established in terms of the parity interlacing property of each element in G(s,δ). Another apparently necessary solvability condition is that every element in P(s,δ) must be stabilizable. Conclusion The two conditions will be compared with each other and it will be shown that every element in G(s,δ) possesses parity interlacing property if P(s,δ) is stabilizable.展开更多

The coefficients of the numerator and the denominator of P(s,δ,δ) are affine functions of δ with ‖δ‖p≤δ. The robust stabilization problem for P(s,δ,δ) is essentially to simultaneously stabilize the infinitely many members of P(s,δ,δ) by a fixed controller. A necessary solvability condition is that every member plant of P(s,δ,δ) must be stabilizable, that is, it is free of unstable pole-zero cancellation. The concept of stabilizability radius is introduced which is the maximal norm bound for δ so that every member plant is stabilizable. The stability radius δmax(C) of the closed-loop system composed of P(s,δ,δ) and the controller C(s) is the maximal norm bound such that the closed-loop system is robustly stable for all δ with ‖δ‖p<δmax(C). Using the convex parameterization approach it is shown that the maximal stability radius is exactly the stabilizability radius. Therefore, the RSP is solvable if and only if every member plant of P(s,δ,δ) is stabilizable.展开更多

The modulation transfer spectroscopy for the 87Rb atom with D2 line transition F = 2 →F' = 3 is used for stabilizing and shifting the frequency of the external cavity grating feedback diode laser. The resonant phase modulator with electro-optical effect is used to generate frequency sideband to lock the laser frequency. In the locking scheme, circularly polarized pump- and probe-beams are used. By optimizing the temperature of the vapor, the pump- and probe-beam intensity, the laser linewidth of 280 kHz is obtained. Furthermore, the magnetic field generated by a solenoid is added into the system. Therefore the system can achieve the frequency locking at any point in a range of hundreds of megahertz frequency shifting with very low power loss.展开更多

Molecular simulations were conducted of the reaction that generates NO_(2), the autocatalytic and aging reaction triggered by the NO_(2), and the nitrogen dioxide absorption reaction of the stabilizers during the propellent stabilization process. These simulations were derived using the transition-state theory(TST)and variational transition-state theory(VTST). The simulation results suggested that the stabilization of the NEPE propellant consisted of three stages. First, heat and NO_(2) were generated during the denitrification reaction of nitroglycerine(NG) and 1,2,4-butanetriol trinitrate(BTTN) in the NEPE propellant.Second, nitroso products were generated by the reactions of N-Methyl-4-nitroaniline(MNA) and 2-nitrodiphenylamine(2NDPA) with NO_(2). Third, the stabilizers were exhausted and the autocatalytic reaction of NG and BTTN and the aging reaction of polyethylene glycol(PEG) were triggered by the heat and NO_(2)generated in the first stage. By comparing the energy barriers of the various reactions, it was found that the NO_(2)generated from the denitrification reaction significantly reduced the reaction energy barrier to 105.56-126.32 kJ/mol, also increased the reaction rate constant, and decreased the thermal stability and energetic properties of the NEPE propellant. In addition, the NO_(2)also weakened the mechanical properties of the NEPE propellant by attacking the-CH2groups and the O atoms in the PEG molecular chain. The energy barriers of the reactions of MNA and 2NDPA with NO_(2)(94.61-133.61 k J/mol) were lower than those of the autocatalytic and decomposition reactions of NG, BTTN, and the aging reactions of PEG(160.30-279.46 kJ/mol). This indicated that, by eliminating NO_(2), the stabilizer in the NEPE propellant can effectively prevent NO_(2)from reacting with the NG, BTTN, and PEG in the NEPE propellant. Consequently, this would help maintain the energy and mechanical properties of the NEPE propellant, thereby improving its thermal stability.展开更多

The error signal, induced from the difference between the frequency measured by a wavelength meter and the preset target frequency, is fed back to the piezoelectric transducer module of the diode laser via a sound card in the computer. A visual Labview procedure is developed to realize a feedback system. In our experiment the frequency drift of the diode laser is reduced to 8 MHz within 25 min. 文摘Currently, the cranes used at sea do not have enough flexibility, efficiency, and safety. Thus, this study proposed a floating multirobot coordinated towing system to meet the demands for offshore towing.Because of the flexibility of rope-driven robots, the one-way pulling characteristics of the rope, and the floating characteristics of the base, towing robots are easily overturned.First, the spatial configuration of the towing system was established according to the towing task, and the kinematic model of the towing system was established using the coordinate transformation. Then, the dynamic model of the towing system was established according to the rigid-body dynamics and hydrodynamic theory. Finally, the stability of the towing system was analyzed using the stability cone method. The simulation experiments provide a reference for the practical application of the floating multirobot coordinated towing system, which can improve the stability of towing systems by changing the configuration of the towing robot.
文摘In this paper,we establish a stability estimate for the isoperimetric inequality of horospherically convex domains in hyperbolic plane. This estimate involves a relationship between the Hausdorff distance to a geodesic ball and the deficit in the isoperimetric inequality, where the coefficient of the deficit is a universal constant.

文摘The traditional transient stability assessment(TSA)model for power systems has three disadvantages:capturing critical information during faults is difficult, aperiodic and oscillatory unstable conditions are not distinguished, and poor generalizability is exhibited by systems with high renewable energy penetration. To address these issues,a novel ResGRU architecture for TSA is proposed in this study.First,a residual neural network(ResNet)is used for deep feature extraction of transient information.Second,a bidirectional gated recurrent unit combined with a multi-attention mechanism(BiGRU-Attention)is used to establish temporal feature dependencies.Their combination constitutes a TSA framework based on the ResGRU architecture. This method predicts three transient conditions:oscillatory instability, aperiodic instability, and stability. The model was trained offline using stochastic gradient descent with a thermal restart(SGDR)optimization algorithm in the offline training phase. This significantly improves the generalizability of the model. Finally, simulation tests on IEEE 145-bus and 39-bus systems confirmed that the proposed method has higher adaptability, accuracy, scalability, and rapidity than the conventional TSA approach. The proposed model also has superior robustness for PMU incomplete configurations,PMU noisy data, and packet loss.

文摘High-entropy materials have become high-activity electrocatalysis owing to their high-entropy effect and multiple active sites.Herein,we synthesize a series of carbon-supported nano high-entropy oxides(HEOs/C),specifically (PtFeCoNiCu)O/C,using a carbothermal shock (CTS) method for application as a cathode catalyst in direct borohydride fuel cells (DBFCs).The microstructure of the prepared catalysts was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray absorption fine structure, and transmission electron microscopy. The prepared (PtFeCoNiCu)O/C,with particle sizes ranging from 2 to 4 nm,demonstrates 3.94 transferred electrons towards the oxygen reduction reaction in an alkaline environment, resulting in a minimal H_(2)O_(2)yield of 2.6%.Additionally,it exhibits a Tafel slope of 61 mV dec-1,surpassing that of commercial Pt/C (82 mV dec-1).Furthermore,after 40,000 cycles of cyclic voltammetry(CV) testing, the half-wave potential of (PtFeCoNiCu)O/C shows a positive shift of 3 mV,with no notable decline in the limiting current density. When (PtFeCoNiCu)O/C is used as a cathode catalyst in DBFCs,the DBFC achieves a maximum power density of 441 mW cm^(-2)at 60°C and sustains a cell voltage of approximately 0.73 V after 52 h at 30°C.These findings confirm that HEO/C is a promising cathode catalyst for DBFCs.

文摘Iron-chromium flow batteries(ICRFBs)have emerged as an ideal large-scale energy storage device with broad application prospects in recent years.Enhancement of the Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+)redox reaction activity and inhibition of the hydrogen evolution side reaction(HER)are essential for the development of ICRFBs and require a novel catalyst design. However, elucidating the underlying mechanisms for modulating catalyst behaviors remains an unresolved challenge. Here,we show a novel precisely controlled preparation of a novel thermal-treated carbon cloth electrode with a uniform deposit of low-cost indium catalyst particles. The density functional theory analysis reveals the In catalyst has a significant adsorption effect on the reactants and improves the redox reaction activity of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(2+).Moreover,H+is more easily absorbed on the surface of the catalyst with a high migration energy barrier, thereby inhibiting the occurrence of HER.The assembled ICRFBs have an average energy efficiency of 83.91%at 140 mA cm^(-2),and this method minimizes the electrodeposition process and cleans the last obstacle for industry long cycle operation requirements. The ICRFBs exhibit exceptional long-term stability with an energy efficiency decay rate of 0.011%per cycle at 1000 cycles, the lowest ICRFBs reported so far. Therefore, this study provides a promising strategy for developing ICRFBs with low costs and long cycle life.
文摘Aim The solvability condition for robust stabilization problem associated with a plant family P(s,δ) having parameter uncertainty δ was considered. Conclusion The two conditions will be compared with each other and it will be shown that every element in G(s,δ) possesses parity interlacing property if P(s,δ) is stabilizable.

文摘The robust stabilization problem (RSP) for a plant family P(s,δ,δ) having real parameter uncertainty δ will be tackled. Therefore, the RSP is solvable if and only if every member plant of P(s,δ,δ) is stabilizable.
文摘Research and development of green oxidizers and green fuels as a possible replacement for ammonium perchlorate(NH4ClO4,AP) and hydrazine(N2H4) respectively has been increased considerably in the recent years.AP and hydrazine are the oxidizer and fuel entities, and used in solid and liquid rocket motors respectively.AP is highly toxic and led to adverse health effects, while hydrazine is carcinogenic in nature.AP is in use from the last several decades for rocket and space shuttle propulsion, while hydrazine is used in upper stage liquid propelled rocket motors. It’s a tough task to replace AP with the currently available green oxidizers;since their ballistic properties are weaker when compared to AP and also they can’t be successfully deployed in a solid rocket motor at present Some important available solid green oxidizers are ammonium nitrate(AN),ammonium dinitramide(ADN),hydroxyl ammonium nitrate(HAN),and hydrazinium nitroformate(HNF).However,AN is one of the cheap and readily available oxidizer, and has great potential to use in solid/liquid rocket motors.Tremendous progress has been envisaged till now,and more progress will be there in the coming future over the development of AN based green energetic materials(GEM’s).A concise overview has been presented over the development of phase stabilized ammonium nitrate(PSAN) and AN/KDN based green oxidizers in the present review paper.

文摘The stabilizing and shifting of laser frequency are very important for the interaction between the laser and atoms. Therefore the system can achieve the frequency locking at any point in a range of hundreds of megahertz frequency shifting with very low power loss.

文摘The modulation transfer spectroscopy in an ytterbium hollow cathode lamp at 399 nm is measured. The error signal for frequency locking is optimized by measuring the dependences of its slope, linewidth and magnitude on various parameters. Under the optimum condition, the laser frequency at 399 nm can be stabilized. The long-term stability of laser frequency is measured by monitoring the fluorescence signal of the ytterbium atomic beam induced by the locked laser. The laser frequency is shown to be tightly locked, and the stabilized laser is successfully applied to the cooling of ytterbium atoms.

文摘In this reported study, the density functional theory(DFT) was used at the(U)B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) level to investigate the stabilization process of the nitrate ester plasticized polyether propellant(NEPE). Consequently, this would help maintain the energy and mechanical properties of the NEPE propellant, thereby improving its thermal stability.

文摘We report a robust method of directly stabilizing a grating feedback diode laser to an arbitrary frequency in a large range. The robust scheme can be adapted to realize the arbitrary frequency stabilization for many other kinds of lasers.
