With the popularization of social media,public opi-nion information on emergencies spreads rapidly on the Internet,the impact of negative public opinions on an event has become more significant.Based on the organizati...With the popularization of social media,public opi-nion information on emergencies spreads rapidly on the Internet,the impact of negative public opinions on an event has become more significant.Based on the organizational form of public opinion information,the knowledge graph is used to construct the knowledge base of public opinion risk cases on the emer-gency network.The emotion recognition model of negative pub-lic opinion information based on the bi-directional long short-term memory(BiLSTM)network is studied in the model layer design,and a linear discriminant analysis(LDA)topic extraction method combined with association rules is proposed to extract and mine the semantics of negative public opinion topics to real-ize further in-depth analysis of information topics.Focusing on public health emergencies,knowledge acquisition and knowl-edge processing of public opinion information are conducted,and the experimental results show that the knowledge graph framework based on the construction can facilitate in-depth theme evolution analysis of public opinion events,thus demon-strating important research significance for reducing online pub-lic opinion risks.展开更多

Most research on anomaly detection has focused on event that is different from its spatial-temporal neighboring events.It is still a significant challenge to detect anomalies that involve multiple normal events intera...Most research on anomaly detection has focused on event that is different from its spatial-temporal neighboring events.It is still a significant challenge to detect anomalies that involve multiple normal events interacting in an unusual pattern.In this work,a novel unsupervised method based on sparse topic model was proposed to capture motion patterns and detect anomalies in traffic surveillance.scale-invariant feature transform(SIFT)flow was used to improve the dense trajectory in order to extract interest points and the corresponding descriptors with less interference.For the purpose of strengthening the relationship of interest points on the same trajectory,the fisher kernel method was applied to obtain the representation of trajectory which was quantized into visual word.Then the sparse topic model was proposed to explore the latent motion patterns and achieve a sparse representation for the video scene.Finally,two anomaly detection algorithms were compared based on video clip detection and visual word analysis respectively.Experiments were conducted on QMUL Junction dataset and AVSS dataset.The results demonstrated the superior efficiency of the proposed method.展开更多
A high level of public speaking anxiety confronts Chinese advanced learners of English,both in extemporaneous and prepared speeches.The anxiety is caused by reasons found in ESL issues,composition,and delivery.In this...A high level of public speaking anxiety confronts Chinese advanced learners of English,both in extemporaneous and prepared speeches.The anxiety is caused by reasons found in ESL issues,composition,and delivery.In this essay,I will illustrate different forms of speaking anxiety found in Chinese English majors.By presenting the symptoms and analyzing the causes,we shall find that it is a triumvirate of rhetoric composition,delivery,and ESL training that has produced the special anxiety for Chinese English majors.And thus it is only through the combined efforts of the triumvirate that ways of alleviating the anxiety can be found.A suggested course design that encompasses topic selection,content emphasis,progress,and assessment is finally offered.展开更多
