The Underwater Communication Link(UCL)is a crucial component of Underwater Wireless Optical Communication(UWOC)systems,requiring optimised design to mitigate the high power attenuation inherent in seawater.To ensure t...The Underwater Communication Link(UCL)is a crucial component of Underwater Wireless Optical Communication(UWOC)systems,requiring optimised design to mitigate the high power attenuation inherent in seawater.To ensure the reliability of an optimal UCL design,it is essential to account for the three primary scattering regimes:forward scattering(FSC),backward scattering(BSC),and isotropic scattering(ISC)in seawater channels.This study introduces a new photon-tracking model based on a discrete equation,facilitating Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS)to evaluate how different scattering regimes influence received photon distribution.Three distinct Scattering Regime Contribution Weight(SRCW)probability sets were employed,each representing different UCL operational configurations dominated by specific scattering regimes.The proposed modeling approach enables a comprehensive assessment of the temporal characteristics of received optical pulses,channel loss,and time spread-ultimately defining the optimal UCL design parameters.The key findings of this study include:(1)Enhancing the FSC regime dominance leads to a quasi-light waveguide effect over link spans and small Fields of View(FOV)<25°,significantly improving channel performance in Harbor seawater compared to Coastal seawater.(2)A well-designed UCL with a small FOV(<25°)can minimise channel loss and time spread,ensuring high capacity and efficient performance in both Coastal and Harbor seawaters.(3)When BSC and ISC contributions exceed FSC dominance,the received optical pulse undergoes significant temporal broadening,particularly for larger FOV angles(>25°)and extended link spans.(4)The developed novel MCS-based discrete equation provides a simple yet robust model for simulating photon propagation in both homogeneous and inhomogeneous underwater channels.These insights contribute to developing more efficient and reliable UCL designs with military standards by enhancing UWOC system performance over a longer linkspan for a given limited optical power across various underwater environments.展开更多
To investigate the process optimizationof Cu-en/AP composite microspheres preparation via electrostatic spraying,and to reveal the effects of droplet properties and flow rate variations on the experimental results dur...To investigate the process optimizationof Cu-en/AP composite microspheres preparation via electrostatic spraying,and to reveal the effects of droplet properties and flow rate variations on the experimental results during the electrostatic spraying process,the prepared process parameters of Cu-en/AP composite microspheres by electrostatic spray method under the orthogonal experimental design simulated by ANSYS(Fluent).The influence of flow rate,solvent ratio,and solid mass on the experimental results is examined using a controlled variable method.The results indicate that under the conditions of a flow rate of 2.67×10^(-3)kg/s an acetone-to-deionized water ratio of 1.5∶1.0,and a solid mass of 200 mg,the theoretical particle size of the composite microspheres can reach e nanoscale.Droplet trajectories in the electric field remain stable without significant deviation.The simulation results show that particle diameter decreases with increasing flow rate,with the trend leveling off around a flow rate of 1×10^(-3)kg/s.As the solvent ratio increases(with higher acetone content),particle diameter initially decreases,reaching a minimum around a ratio of 1.5∶1.0 before gradually increasing.Increasing the solid mass also reduces the particle diameter,with a linear increase in diameter observed at around 220 mg.Cu-en/AP composite microspheres with nanoscale dimensions were confirmed under these conditions by the final SEM images.展开更多

In this paper,a linear optimization method(LOM)for the design of terahertz circuits is presented,aimed at enhancing the simulation efficacy and reducing the time of the circuit design workflow.This method enables the ...In this paper,a linear optimization method(LOM)for the design of terahertz circuits is presented,aimed at enhancing the simulation efficacy and reducing the time of the circuit design workflow.This method enables the rapid determination of optimal embedding impedance for diodes across a specific bandwidth to achieve maximum efficiency through harmonic balance simulations.By optimizing the linear matching circuit with the optimal embedding impedance,the method effectively segregates the simulation of the linear segments from the nonlinear segments in the frequency multiplier circuit,substantially improving the speed of simulations.The design of on-chip linear matching circuits adopts a modular circuit design strategy,incorporating fixed load resistors to simplify the matching challenge.Utilizing this approach,a 340 GHz frequency doubler was developed and measured.The results demonstrate that,across a bandwidth of 330 GHz to 342 GHz,the efficiency of the doubler remains above 10%,with an input power ranging from 98 mW to 141mW and an output power exceeding 13 mW.Notably,at an input power of 141 mW,a peak output power of 21.8 mW was achieved at 334 GHz,corresponding to an efficiency of 15.8%.展开更多

This study focuses on the thermal management of 4680-type cylindrical lithium-ion battery packs utilizing NCM811 chemistry.It establishes coupled multi-physics models for both immersion and serpentine cold plate cooli...This study focuses on the thermal management of 4680-type cylindrical lithium-ion battery packs utilizing NCM811 chemistry.It establishes coupled multi-physics models for both immersion and serpentine cold plate cooling systems.Through a combination of numerical simulation and experimental validation,the technical advantages and mechanisms of immersion cooling are systematically explored.Simulation results indicate that under a 3C fast-charging condition(inlet temperature 20℃,flow rate 36 L/min),the immersion cooling structure 3demonstrates a triple enhancement in thermal performance compared to the cold plate structure 1:a 13.06%reduction in peak temperature,a 31.67%decrease in overall maximum temperature difference,and a 47.62%decrease in single-cell temperature deviation,while also reducing flow resistance by 33.61%.Furthermore,based on the immersion cooling model,a small battery module comprising seven cylindrical cells was designed for thermal runaway testing via nail penetration.The results show that the peak temperature of the triggered cell was limited to 437.6℃,with a controllable temperature rise gradient of only 3.35℃/s and a rapid cooling rate of 0.6℃/s.The maximum temperature rise of adjacent cells was just 64.8℃,effectively inhibiting thermal propagation.Post-test disassembly revealed that the non-triggered cells retained>99.2%of their original voltage and>99%structural integrity,confirming the module’s ability to achieve“localized failure with global stability.”展开更多
To address the limitations of existing coupling methods in aero-engine system simulation,which fail to adaptively adjust iterative parameters and coupling relationships,which can result in low efficiency and in⁃stabil...To address the limitations of existing coupling methods in aero-engine system simulation,which fail to adaptively adjust iterative parameters and coupling relationships,which can result in low efficiency and in⁃stability,this study introduces a‘Dynamic Event-Driven Co-Simulation’algorithm integrated with decision tree algorithms.This algorithm separates the overall coupling relationships and the main solver from the primary mod⁃el,utilizing a dynamic event monitoring module to adaptively adjust simulation strategies,including iteration pa⁃rameters,coupling relationships,and convergence criteria.This facilitates efficient adaptive simulations of dy⁃namic events while balancing solution accuracy and computational efficiency.The research focuses on a twinshaft turbofan engine,establishing six system-level models that encompass overall performance and various sub⁃systems based on three coupling methods,along with a multidisciplinary multi-fidelity simulation framework in⁃corporating a 3D CFD nozzle model.The study tests both model exchange and coupled simulation methods under a 14 s transient acceleration and deceleration scenario.In a 100%throttle condition,a high-fidelity nozzle model is used to analyze the sensitivity of different convergence criteria on computational efficiency and accuracy.Re⁃sults indicate that the accuracy and efficiency achieved with this method are comparable to those of PROOSIS soft⁃ware(18 s and 35 s,respectively),while being 71%more efficient than Simulink software(62 s and 120 s,re⁃spectively).Furthermore,appropriately relaxing the convergence criteria for the 0D model(from 10-6 to 10-4)while enhancing those for the 3D model(from 3000 steps to 6000 steps)can effectively balance computational accuracy and efficiency.展开更多

Al-Cu-Mg-Ag alloys have become a research hotspot because of its good heat resistance.Its excellent mechanical properties are inseparable from the regulation of the structure by researchers.The method of material stru...Al-Cu-Mg-Ag alloys have become a research hotspot because of its good heat resistance.Its excellent mechanical properties are inseparable from the regulation of the structure by researchers.The method of material structure simulation has become more and more perfect.This study employs numerical simulation to investigate the microstructure evolution of Al-Cu-Mg-Ag alloys during solidification with the aim of controlling its structure.The size distribution of Ti-containing particles in an Al-Ti-B master alloy was characterized via microstructure observation,serving as a basis for optimizing the nucleation density parameters for particles of varying radii in the phase field model.The addition of refiner inhibited the growth of dendrites and no longer produced coarse dendrites.With the increase of refiner,the grains gradually tended to form cellular morphology.The refined grains were about 100μm in size.Experimental validation of the simulated as-cast grain morphology was conducted.The samples were observed by metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope.The addition of refiner had a significant effect on the refinement of the alloy,and the average grain size after refinement was also about 100μm.At the same time,the XRD phase identification of the alloy was carried out.The observation of the microstructure morphology under the scanning electron microscope showed that the precipitated phase was mainly concentrated on the grain boundary.The Al_(2)Cu accounted for about 5%,and the matrix phase FCC accounted for about 95%,which also corresponded well with the simulation results.展开更多

During the propagation of high-power lasers within internal channels,the laser beam heats the propagation medium,causing the thermal blooming effect that degrades the beam quality at the output.The intricate configura...During the propagation of high-power lasers within internal channels,the laser beam heats the propagation medium,causing the thermal blooming effect that degrades the beam quality at the output.The intricate configuration of the optical path within the internal channel necessitates complex and time-consuming efforts to assess the impact of thermal blooming effect on the optical path.To meet the engineering need for rapid evaluation of thermal blooming effect in optical paths,this study proposed a rapid simulation method for the thermal blooming effect in internal optical paths based on the finite element method.This method discretized the fluid region into infinitesimal elements and employed finite element method for flow field analysis.A simplified analytical model of the flow field region in complex internal channels was established,and regions with similar thermal blooming effect were divided within this model.Based on the calculated optical path differences within these regions,numerical simulations of phase distortion caused by thermal blooming were conducted.The calculated result were compared with those obtained using the existing methods.The findings reveal that for complex optical paths,the discrepancy between the two approaches is less than 3.6%,with similar phase distortion patterns observed.For L-type units,this method and the existing methods identify the same primary factors influencing aberrations and exhibit consistent trends in their variation.This method was used to analyze the impact of thermal blooming effect in a straight channel under different gravity directions.The results show that phase distortion varies with changes in the direction of gravity,and the magnitude of the phase difference is strongly correlated with the component of gravity perpendicular to the optical axis.Compared to the existing methods,this approach offers greater flexibility,obviates the need for complex custom analysis programming.The analytical results of this method enable a rapid assessment of the thermal blooming effect in optical paths within the internal channel.This is especially useful during the engineering design.These results also provide crucial references for developing strategies to suppress thermal blooming effect.展开更多
[Objective]Under the combined impact of climate change and urbanization,urban rainstorm flood disasters occur frequently,seriously restricting urban safety and sustainable development.Relying on traditional grey infra...[Objective]Under the combined impact of climate change and urbanization,urban rainstorm flood disasters occur frequently,seriously restricting urban safety and sustainable development.Relying on traditional grey infrastructure such as pipe networks for urban stormwater management is not enough to deal with urban rainstorm flood disasters under extreme rainfall events.The integration of green,grey and blue systems(GGB-integrated system)is gradually gaining recognition in the field of global flood prevention.It is necessary to further clarify the connotation,technical and engineering implementation strategies of the GGB-integrated system,to provide support for the resilient city construction.[Methods]Through literature retrieval and analysis,the relevant research and progress related to the layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization of the GGBintegrated system were systematically reviewed.In response to existing limitations and future engineering application requirements,key supporting technologies including the utilization of overground emergency storage spaces,safety protection of underground important infrastructure and multi-departmental collaboration,were proposed.A layout optimization framework and a joint scheduling framework for the GGB-integrated system were also developed.[Results]Current research on layout optimization predominantly focuses on the integration of green system and grey system,with relatively fewer studies incorporating blue system infrastructure into the optimization process.Moreover,these studies tend to be on a smaller scale with simpler scenarios,which do not fully capture the complexity of real-world systems.Additionally,optimization objective tend to prioritize environmental and economic goals,while social and ecological factors are less frequently considered.Current research on joint scheduling optimization is often limited to small-scale plots,with insufficient attention paid to the entire system.There is a deficiency in method for real-time,automated determination of optimal control strategies for combinations of multiple system facilities based on actual rainfall-runoff processes.Additionally,the application of emergency facilities during extreme conditions is not sufficiently addressed.Furthermore,both layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization lack consideration of the mute feed effect of flood and waterlogging in urban,watershed and regional scales.[Conclusion]Future research needs to improve the theoretical framework for layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization of GGB-integrated system.Through the comprehensive application of the Internet of things,artificial intelligence,coupling model development,multi-scale analysis,multi-scenario simulation,and the establishment of multi-departmental collaboration mechanisms,it can enhance the flood resilience of urban areas in response to rainfall events of varying intensities,particularly extreme rainfall events.展开更多
With the development of fast communication technology between ego vehicle and other traffic participants,and automated driving technology,there is a big potential in the improvement of energy efficiency of hybrid elec...With the development of fast communication technology between ego vehicle and other traffic participants,and automated driving technology,there is a big potential in the improvement of energy efficiency of hybrid electric vehicles(HEVs).Moreover,the terrain along the driving route is a non-ignorable factor for energy efficiency of HEV running on the hilly streets.This paper proposes a look-ahead horizon-based optimal energy management strategy to jointly improve the efficiencies of powertrain and vehicle for connected and automated HEVs on the road with slope.Firstly,a rule-based framework is developed to guarantee the success of automated driving in the traffic scenario.Then a constrained optimal control problem is formulated to minimize the fuel consumption and the electricity consumption under the satisfaction of inter-vehicular distance constraint between ego vehicle and preceding vehicle.Both speed planning and torque split of hybrid powertrain are provided by the proposed approach.Moreover,the preceding vehicle speed in the look-ahead horizon is predicted by extreme learning machine with real-time data obtained from communication of vehicle-to-everything.The optimal solution is derived through the Pontryagin’s maximum principle.Finally,to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,a traffic-in-the-loop powertrain platform with data from real world traffic environment is built.It is found that the fuel economy for the proposed energy management strategy improves in average 17.0%in scenarios of different traffic densities,compared to the energy management strategy without prediction of preceding vehicle speed.展开更多

文摘The simultaneous transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surface(STAR-RIS)can independently adjust surface’s reflection and transmission coefficients so as to enhance space coverage.For a multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)communication system with a STAR-RIS,a base station(BS),an eavesdropper,and multiple users,the system security rate is studied.A joint design of the power allocation at the transmitter and phase shift matrices for reflection and transmission at the STAR-RIS is conducted,in order to maximize the worst achievable security data rate(ASDR).Since the problem is nonconvex and hence challenging,a particle swarm optimization(PSO)based algorithm is developed to tackle the problem.Both the cases of continuous and discrete phase shift matrices at the STAR-RIS are considered.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and shows the benefits of using STAR-RIS in MIMO mutliuser systems.

文摘In this paper,a linear optimization method(LOM)for the design of terahertz circuits is presented,aimed at enhancing the simulation efficacy and reducing the time of the circuit design workflow.This method enables the rapid determination of optimal embedding impedance for diodes across a specific bandwidth to achieve maximum efficiency through harmonic balance simulations.By optimizing the linear matching circuit with the optimal embedding impedance,the method effectively segregates the simulation of the linear segments from the nonlinear segments in the frequency multiplier circuit,substantially improving the speed of simulations.The design of on-chip linear matching circuits adopts a modular circuit design strategy,incorporating fixed load resistors to simplify the matching challenge.Utilizing this approach,a 340 GHz frequency doubler was developed and measured.The results demonstrate that,across a bandwidth of 330 GHz to 342 GHz,the efficiency of the doubler remains above 10%,with an input power ranging from 98 mW to 141mW and an output power exceeding 13 mW.Notably,at an input power of 141 mW,a peak output power of 21.8 mW was achieved at 334 GHz,corresponding to an efficiency of 15.8%.
文摘The microstructures and thermodynamic properties of mixed systems comprising pyridinium ionic liquid[HPy][BF_(4)]and acetonitrile at different mole fractions were studied using molecular dynamics simulation in this work.The following properties were determined:density,self-diffusion coefficient,excess molar volume,and radial distribution function.The results show that with an increase in the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the self-diffusion coefficient decreases.Additionally,the excess molar volume initially decreases,reaches a minimum,and then increases.The rules of radial distribution functions(RDFs)of characteristic atoms are different.With increasing the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the first peak of the RDFs of HA1-F decreases,while that of CT6-CT6 rises at first and then decreases.This indicates that the solvent molecules affect the polar and non-polar regions of[HPy][BF_(4)]differently.
文摘This study focuses on the thermal management of 4680-type cylindrical lithium-ion battery packs utilizing NCM811 chemistry.It establishes coupled multi-physics models for both immersion and serpentine cold plate cooling systems.Through a combination of numerical simulation and experimental validation,the technical advantages and mechanisms of immersion cooling are systematically explored.Simulation results indicate that under a 3C fast-charging condition(inlet temperature 20℃,flow rate 36 L/min),the immersion cooling structure 3demonstrates a triple enhancement in thermal performance compared to the cold plate structure 1:a 13.06%reduction in peak temperature,a 31.67%decrease in overall maximum temperature difference,and a 47.62%decrease in single-cell temperature deviation,while also reducing flow resistance by 33.61%.Furthermore,based on the immersion cooling model,a small battery module comprising seven cylindrical cells was designed for thermal runaway testing via nail penetration.The results show that the peak temperature of the triggered cell was limited to 437.6℃,with a controllable temperature rise gradient of only 3.35℃/s and a rapid cooling rate of 0.6℃/s.The maximum temperature rise of adjacent cells was just 64.8℃,effectively inhibiting thermal propagation.Post-test disassembly revealed that the non-triggered cells retained>99.2%of their original voltage and>99%structural integrity,confirming the module’s ability to achieve“localized failure with global stability.”
文摘To address the limitations of existing coupling methods in aero-engine system simulation,which fail to adaptively adjust iterative parameters and coupling relationships,which can result in low efficiency and in⁃stability,this study introduces a‘Dynamic Event-Driven Co-Simulation’algorithm integrated with decision tree algorithms.This algorithm separates the overall coupling relationships and the main solver from the primary mod⁃el,utilizing a dynamic event monitoring module to adaptively adjust simulation strategies,including iteration pa⁃rameters,coupling relationships,and convergence criteria.This facilitates efficient adaptive simulations of dy⁃namic events while balancing solution accuracy and computational efficiency.The research focuses on a twinshaft turbofan engine,establishing six system-level models that encompass overall performance and various sub⁃systems based on three coupling methods,along with a multidisciplinary multi-fidelity simulation framework in⁃corporating a 3D CFD nozzle model.The study tests both model exchange and coupled simulation methods under a 14 s transient acceleration and deceleration scenario.In a 100%throttle condition,a high-fidelity nozzle model is used to analyze the sensitivity of different convergence criteria on computational efficiency and accuracy.Re⁃sults indicate that the accuracy and efficiency achieved with this method are comparable to those of PROOSIS soft⁃ware(18 s and 35 s,respectively),while being 71%more efficient than Simulink software(62 s and 120 s,re⁃spectively).Furthermore,appropriately relaxing the convergence criteria for the 0D model(from 10-6 to 10-4)while enhancing those for the 3D model(from 3000 steps to 6000 steps)can effectively balance computational accuracy and efficiency.
文摘In order to accurately forecast the main engine fuel consumption and reduce the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator(EEOI)of merchant ships in polar ice areas,the energy transfer relationship between ship-machine-propeller is studied by analyzing the complex force situation during ship navigation and building a MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform based on multi-environmental resistance,propeller efficiency,main engine power,fuel consumption,fuel consumption rate and EEOI calculation module.Considering the environmental factors of wind,wave and ice,the route is divided into sections,the calculation of main engine power,main engine fuel consumption and EEOI for each section is completed,and the speed design is optimized based on the simulation model for each section.Under the requirements of the voyage plan,the optimization results show that the energy efficiency operation index of the whole route is reduced by 3.114%and the fuel consumption is reduced by 9.17 t.
文摘As an advanced 4^(th) generation synchrotron radiation facility,the Shenzhen Innovation Light-source Facility(SILF)storage ring is based on multi-bend achromat(MBA)lattices,enabling one to two orders of magnitude reduction in beam emittance compared to the 3^(rd) generation storage ring.This significantly enhance the radiation brightness and coherence.The multipole magnets of many types for SILF storage ring are under preliminary design,which require high integral field homogeneity.As a result,a dedicated pole tip optimization procedure with high efficiency is developed for quadrupole and sextupole magnets with Opera-2D^(■)python script.The procedure considers also the 3D field effect which makes the optimization more straightforward.In this paper,the design of the quadrupole and sextupole magnets for SILF storage ring is first presented,followed by a detailed description of the implemented pole shape optimization method.

文摘In this paper,we propose a three-term conjugate gradient method for solving unconstrained optimization problems based on the Hestenes-Stiefel(HS)conjugate gradient method and Polak-Ribiere-Polyak(PRP)conjugate gradient method.Under the condition of standard Wolfe line search,the proposed search direction is the descent direction.For general nonlinear functions,the method is globally convergent.Finally,numerical results show that the proposed method is efficient.
文摘Risk management often plays an important role in decision making un-der uncertainty.In quantitative risk management,assessing and optimizing risk metrics requires eficient computing techniques and reliable theoretical guarantees.In this pa-per,we introduce several topics on quantitative risk management and review some of the recent studies and advancements on the topics.We consider several risk metrics and study decision models that involve the metrics,with a main focus on the related com-puting techniques and theoretical properties.We show that stochastic optimization,as a powerful tool,can be leveraged to effectively address these problems.
文摘Al-Cu-Mg-Ag alloys have become a research hotspot because of its good heat resistance.Its excellent mechanical properties are inseparable from the regulation of the structure by researchers.The method of material structure simulation has become more and more perfect.This study employs numerical simulation to investigate the microstructure evolution of Al-Cu-Mg-Ag alloys during solidification with the aim of controlling its structure.The size distribution of Ti-containing particles in an Al-Ti-B master alloy was characterized via microstructure observation,serving as a basis for optimizing the nucleation density parameters for particles of varying radii in the phase field model.The addition of refiner inhibited the growth of dendrites and no longer produced coarse dendrites.With the increase of refiner,the grains gradually tended to form cellular morphology.The refined grains were about 100μm in size.Experimental validation of the simulated as-cast grain morphology was conducted.The samples were observed by metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope.The addition of refiner had a significant effect on the refinement of the alloy,and the average grain size after refinement was also about 100μm.At the same time,the XRD phase identification of the alloy was carried out.The observation of the microstructure morphology under the scanning electron microscope showed that the precipitated phase was mainly concentrated on the grain boundary.The Al_(2)Cu accounted for about 5%,and the matrix phase FCC accounted for about 95%,which also corresponded well with the simulation results.

文摘The lack of systematic and scientific top-level arrangement in the field of civil aircraft flight test leads to the problems of long duration and high cost.Based on the flight test activity,mathematical models of flight test duration and cost are established to set up the framework of flight test process.The top-level arrangement for flight test is optimized by multi-objective algorithm to reduce the duration and cost of flight test.In order to verify the necessity and validity of the mathematical models and the optimization algorithm of top-level arrangement,real flight test data is used to make an example calculation.Results show that the multi-objective optimization results of the top-level flight arrangement are better than the initial arrangement data,which can shorten the duration,reduce the cost,and improve the efficiency of flight test.
文摘During the propagation of high-power lasers within internal channels,the laser beam heats the propagation medium,causing the thermal blooming effect that degrades the beam quality at the output.The intricate configuration of the optical path within the internal channel necessitates complex and time-consuming efforts to assess the impact of thermal blooming effect on the optical path.To meet the engineering need for rapid evaluation of thermal blooming effect in optical paths,this study proposed a rapid simulation method for the thermal blooming effect in internal optical paths based on the finite element method.This method discretized the fluid region into infinitesimal elements and employed finite element method for flow field analysis.A simplified analytical model of the flow field region in complex internal channels was established,and regions with similar thermal blooming effect were divided within this model.Based on the calculated optical path differences within these regions,numerical simulations of phase distortion caused by thermal blooming were conducted.The calculated result were compared with those obtained using the existing methods.The findings reveal that for complex optical paths,the discrepancy between the two approaches is less than 3.6%,with similar phase distortion patterns observed.For L-type units,this method and the existing methods identify the same primary factors influencing aberrations and exhibit consistent trends in their variation.This method was used to analyze the impact of thermal blooming effect in a straight channel under different gravity directions.The results show that phase distortion varies with changes in the direction of gravity,and the magnitude of the phase difference is strongly correlated with the component of gravity perpendicular to the optical axis.Compared to the existing methods,this approach offers greater flexibility,obviates the need for complex custom analysis programming.The analytical results of this method enable a rapid assessment of the thermal blooming effect in optical paths within the internal channel.This is especially useful during the engineering design.These results also provide crucial references for developing strategies to suppress thermal blooming effect.
文摘[Objective]Under the combined impact of climate change and urbanization,urban rainstorm flood disasters occur frequently,seriously restricting urban safety and sustainable development.Relying on traditional grey infrastructure such as pipe networks for urban stormwater management is not enough to deal with urban rainstorm flood disasters under extreme rainfall events.The integration of green,grey and blue systems(GGB-integrated system)is gradually gaining recognition in the field of global flood prevention.It is necessary to further clarify the connotation,technical and engineering implementation strategies of the GGB-integrated system,to provide support for the resilient city construction.[Methods]Through literature retrieval and analysis,the relevant research and progress related to the layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization of the GGBintegrated system were systematically reviewed.In response to existing limitations and future engineering application requirements,key supporting technologies including the utilization of overground emergency storage spaces,safety protection of underground important infrastructure and multi-departmental collaboration,were proposed.A layout optimization framework and a joint scheduling framework for the GGB-integrated system were also developed.[Results]Current research on layout optimization predominantly focuses on the integration of green system and grey system,with relatively fewer studies incorporating blue system infrastructure into the optimization process.Moreover,these studies tend to be on a smaller scale with simpler scenarios,which do not fully capture the complexity of real-world systems.Additionally,optimization objective tend to prioritize environmental and economic goals,while social and ecological factors are less frequently considered.Current research on joint scheduling optimization is often limited to small-scale plots,with insufficient attention paid to the entire system.There is a deficiency in method for real-time,automated determination of optimal control strategies for combinations of multiple system facilities based on actual rainfall-runoff processes.Additionally,the application of emergency facilities during extreme conditions is not sufficiently addressed.Furthermore,both layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization lack consideration of the mute feed effect of flood and waterlogging in urban,watershed and regional scales.[Conclusion]Future research needs to improve the theoretical framework for layout optimization and joint scheduling optimization of GGB-integrated system.Through the comprehensive application of the Internet of things,artificial intelligence,coupling model development,multi-scale analysis,multi-scenario simulation,and the establishment of multi-departmental collaboration mechanisms,it can enhance the flood resilience of urban areas in response to rainfall events of varying intensities,particularly extreme rainfall events.
文摘With the development of fast communication technology between ego vehicle and other traffic participants,and automated driving technology,there is a big potential in the improvement of energy efficiency of hybrid electric vehicles(HEVs).Moreover,the terrain along the driving route is a non-ignorable factor for energy efficiency of HEV running on the hilly streets.This paper proposes a look-ahead horizon-based optimal energy management strategy to jointly improve the efficiencies of powertrain and vehicle for connected and automated HEVs on the road with slope.Firstly,a rule-based framework is developed to guarantee the success of automated driving in the traffic scenario.Then a constrained optimal control problem is formulated to minimize the fuel consumption and the electricity consumption under the satisfaction of inter-vehicular distance constraint between ego vehicle and preceding vehicle.Both speed planning and torque split of hybrid powertrain are provided by the proposed approach.Moreover,the preceding vehicle speed in the look-ahead horizon is predicted by extreme learning machine with real-time data obtained from communication of vehicle-to-everything.The optimal solution is derived through the Pontryagin’s maximum principle.Finally,to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,a traffic-in-the-loop powertrain platform with data from real world traffic environment is built.It is found that the fuel economy for the proposed energy management strategy improves in average 17.0%in scenarios of different traffic densities,compared to the energy management strategy without prediction of preceding vehicle speed.
