Subgrade settlement is a common issue in soil ground within earthquake-prone regions,posing a threat to the safe operation of train-slab track coupled system(TSCS)in high-speed railways(HSRs).This study aims to analyze the mechanical behavior evolution of TSCS under subgrade settlement and earthquake excitation.The refined numerical model of slab track under subgrade differential settlement is established.The short settlement wavelength of 10 m causes the separation between the base and subgrade.The dynamic model of TSCS under subgrade settlement and earthquake excitation is developed.The dynamic response of TSCS exhibits more pronounced fluctuations under the combined effects of subgrade settlement and earthquake excitation than under the effects of settlement or earthquake alone.The evaluation indexes for the running safety of train on slab track under different settlement wavelengths exhibit varying degrees of increase with settlement amplitude and are particularly sensitive to the short settlement wavelength of 10 m.The wheel unloading rate and derailment coefficient of TSCS increase with earthquake intensity.Under the settlement wavelength of 10 m and amplitude of 20 mm,the wheel unloading rate of TSCS exceeds the allowable limit when the earthquake intensity exceeds 0.17g,and the derailment coefficient exceeds the allowable limit when the earthquake intensity surpasses 0.29g. 展开更多

Settlement monitoring system of pile-group foundation

In order to realize information construction on settlement of pile-group foundation of Sutong Bridge, the monitoring instruments of high-precision micro-pressure sensor and hydrostatic leveling and settlement profiler were integrated synthetically. A set of practical multi-scale monitoring system on settlement of super-large pile-group foundation in deep water was put forward. The reliable settlement results are obtained by means of multi-sensor data fusion. Finite element model of pile-group foundation is established. By analysis of finite element simulated calculation of pile-group foundation, rules of settlement and uneven settlement obtained by monitoring and calculation results are coincident and the absolute error of settlement between them is 4.7 mm. The research shows that it is reasonable and feasible to monitor settlement of pile-group foundation with the system, and it can provide a method for the same type pile-group foundation in deep water. 展开更多

目前我国农村人居生态环境质量亟待改善,而现有的评价指标体系和方法仍不完善。因此,构建适用于我国农村人居生态环境质量评价的指标体系与方法,对农村人居生态环境质量提升具有重要意义。该研究首先利用压力-状态-响应(PSR)模型构建了... 目前我国农村人居生态环境质量亟待改善,而现有的评价指标体系和方法仍不完善。因此,构建适用于我国农村人居生态环境质量评价的指标体系与方法,对农村人居生态环境质量提升具有重要意义。该研究首先利用压力-状态-响应(PSR)模型构建了农村人居生态环境质量评价体系,进一步运用层次分析法确定了各指标权重。PSR模型结果表明,构建的农村人居生态环境质量评价指标体系包含5个农村人居生态环境环境压力指标,5个农村人居生态环境环境状态指标,以及4个农村人居生态环境环境响应指标。层次分析法结果表明,压力指标、状态指标与响应指标的权重分别为0.154、0.573和0.273,因此,状态指标为影响农村人居生态环境质量的主要指标。在指标层中,绿化覆盖率、卫生厕所普及率与生活污水治理率对农村人居生态环境环境的影响较大,3种指标的指标权重分别为0.197、0.124和0.104。为农村人居生态环境质量评价提供了理论依据。 展开更多

针对BDS基线解算中多路径误差无法通过差分方式消除,从而严重影响基线解算精度的问题,目前常用两种多路径误差建模方法削弱多路径误差的影响。但现有研究较多关注单方法的削弱效果,缺少对恒星日滤波和半天球建模两种方法的分析及其在实... 针对BDS基线解算中多路径误差无法通过差分方式消除,从而严重影响基线解算精度的问题,目前常用两种多路径误差建模方法削弱多路径误差的影响。但现有研究较多关注单方法的削弱效果,缺少对恒星日滤波和半天球建模两种方法的分析及其在实际工程中应用有效性的验证。基于此,本文选取安徽阜阳沉降监测项目中三角洲公园站与颍河东路站两站点组成的短基线进行试验,采集实测BDS观测数据,比较两种方法在沉降监测应用中削弱多路径误差的实际效果。结果表明,采用观测值域恒星日滤波方法E、N、U方向的改善率分别达76.47%、71.95%、72.61%,采用半天球建模方法E、N、U方向的改善率分别达65.73%、61.38%、59.60%,从解算结果看,两种方法均可有效抑制沉降监测中的多路径效应。 展开更多

深入研究喀斯特峰林平原传统乡村聚落的防御体系,不仅能够揭示其独特的人地关系适应机制,亦对当代文化遗产保护、聚落安全规划以及农村社会治安防控体系建设具有重要启示。以广西罗城双蒙村集中连片聚落为典型研究对象,通过文献研究与... 深入研究喀斯特峰林平原传统乡村聚落的防御体系,不仅能够揭示其独特的人地关系适应机制,亦对当代文化遗产保护、聚落安全规划以及农村社会治安防控体系建设具有重要启示。以广西罗城双蒙村集中连片聚落为典型研究对象,通过文献研究与田野调查相结合的方法,以自然地理和人文地理双重视角切入,从宏观、中观、微观三个层面系统探究其防御体系建构逻辑与营建智慧。结果表明:(1)宏观层面,沿交通线两侧平原分布的聚落群,依托保甲制与乡约的传统治理理念和联村筑堡之法实现守望互助。(2)中观层面,聚落借助地势之利、林木之郁、水源之便构成天然防御屏障,通过边界、规模、街巷三大要素形成由外至内的层级防御结构。(3)微观层面,传统民居建筑兼具居住与防御功能,内部空间与防御设施紧密结合,由大到小,逐一设防。研究表明,区域联防与层级防御作为该防御体系的核心,也是峰林平原聚落区别于其他聚落的关键之处。其蕴含的适应性营建智慧为当代文化遗产保护、韧性安全聚落规划、农村社会治安防控体系的构建,提供了历史经验和实践范式。 展开更多

A case of Qinghuayuan tunnel excavation below the existing Beijing Subway Line 10 is presented.The new Qinghuayuan tunnel,part of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway,was excavated by a shield machine with an outer diameter of 12.2 m.The existing subway was excavated by shallow tunnelling method.The project layout,geological conditions,reinforcement measures,operational parameters of shield machine and monitoring results of the project are introduced.During the Qinghuayuan tunnel excavation below the existing subway,total thrust,shield driving speed,cutterhead rotation speed and torque were manually controlled below the average values obtained from the previous monitoring of this project,which could effectively reduce the disturbance of the surrounding soil induced by shield excavation.The Gaussian fitting function can appropriately fit both the ground and the existing subway settlements.The trough width is influenced not only by the excavation overburden depth,but also by the forepoling reinforcement and tail void grouting measures. 展开更多

Foundation settlement is of great significance for high-fill engineering in collapsible loess areas.To predict the construction settlement of Lüliang Airport located in Shanxi Province,China,a plane strain finite element method considering the linear variation in the modulus,was carried out in this paper based on the results of geotechnical tests.The stress and deformation of four typical sections caused by layered fill are simulated,and then the settlement of the high-fill airport is calculated and analyzed by inputting three sets of parameters.The relative soft parameters of loess geomaterials produce more settlement than the relatively hard parameters.The thicker the filling body is,the greater the settlement is.The filling body constrained by mountains on both sides produces less settlement than the filling body constrained by a mountain on only one side even the filling thickness is almost the same.The settlement caused by the original subbase accounts for 56%−77%of the total settlement,while the fill soils themselves accounts for 23%−44%of the total settlement,which is approximately consistent with the field monitoring results.It provides a good reference for predicting the settlement of similar high-fill engineering. 展开更多

Based on reasonable assumptions that simplified the calculational model,a simple and practical method was proposed to calculate the post-construction settlement of high-speed railway bridge pile foundation by using the Mesri creep model to describe the soil characteristics and the Mindlin-Geddes method considering pile diameter to calculate the vertical additional stress of pile bottom.A program named CPPS was designed for this method to calculate the post-construction settlement of a high-speed railway bridge pile foundation.The result indicates that the post-construction settlement in 100 years meets the requirements of the engineering specifications,and in the first two decades,the post-construction settlement is about 80% of its total settlement,while the settlement in the rest eighty years tends to be stable.Compared with the measured settlement after laying railway tracks,the calculational result is closed to that of the measured,and the results are conservative with a high computational accuracy.It is noted that the method can be used to calculate the post-construction settlement for the preliminary design of high-speed railway bridge pile foundation. 展开更多

A new approach is proposed to analyze the settlement behavior for single pile embedded in layered soils. Firstly, soil layers surrounding pile shaft are simulated by using distributed Voigt model, and finite soil layers under the pile end are assumed to be virtual soil-pile whose cross-section area is the same as that of the pile shaft. Then, by means of Laplace transform and impedance function transfer method to solve the static equilibrium equation of pile, the analytical solution of the displacement impedance fimction at the pile head is derived. Furthermore, the analytical solution of the settlement at the head of single pile is theoretically derived by virtue of convolution theorem. Based on these solutions, the influences of parameters of soil-pile system on the settlement behavior for single pile are analyzed. Also, comparison of the load-settlement response for two well-instrumented field tests in multilayered soils is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed approach. It can be noted that the presented solution can be used to calculate the settlement of single pile for the preliminary design of pile foundation. 展开更多

A simplified approach for settlement calculation of pile groups considering pile-to-pile interaction in layered soils 被引量:5

A simplified approach is presented for the analysis of the settlement of vertically loaded pile groups. In order to simulate the nonlinear pile-to-pile interaction in pile groups, the soils along the piles are assumed to behave as a series of nonlinear springs subjected to the shaft shear stress at the pile/soil interface. Considering the displacement reduction induced by the pile-to-pile interaction, the shear-deformation method is adopted to approximate the displacement field of the layered soils around the piles, and the equivalent stiffness of the springs is obtained. Furthermore, the load-settlement response of pile groups is deduced by modifying the load-transfer functions to account for the pile-to-pile interaction. The settlements of a laboratory pile groups computed by the presented approach are in a good agreement with measured results. The analysis on Contrastive parameters shows that the settlements of pile group decrease with the increase of the pile space and pile length, and the part of piles exceeding the critical pile length has little contribution to the beating capacity of the pile groups. 展开更多

Differential uplift and settlement between inner column and diaphragm wall in top-down excavation 被引量:5

Top structure and basement will confront the risk of being damaged on account of large stress and strain fields incurred by differential uplift and settlement between inner column and diaphragm wall in top-down method. Top-down excavation of the Metro Line 10 in Shanghai was modeled with finite element analysis software ABAQUS and parameters of subsoil were obtained by inverse analysis. Based on the finite element model and parameters, changes in the following factors were made to find more effective methods to restrain differential uplift and settlement: length of diaphragm wall, thickness of jet-grouting reinforcement layer, ways of subsoil reinforcement, sequence of pit excavation, connection between slabs and diaphragm wall or column and width of pit. Several significant results are acquired. The longer the diaphragm wall is, the greater the differential uplift between column and diaphragm wall is. Rigidity of roof slab is in general not strong enough to keep diaphragm wall and column undergoing the same uplift during excavation; Uplift at head of column and differential uplift between column and diaphragm wall decrease when subsoil from-16.6 to-43 m in pit is reinforced through jet-grouting. But, as excavation proceeds to a lower level, benefit from soil reinforcement diminishes. During the process applying vertical load, the larger the depth of diaphragm wall is, the smaller the settlement is at head of column and diaphragm wall, and the greater the differential settlement is between column and diaphragm wall. When friction connection is implemented between column, diaphragm wall and floor slabs, uplifts at head of column and diaphragm wall are larger than those of the case when tie connection is implemented, and so does differential uplift between column and diaphragm wall. The maximum deflection of diaphragm wall decreases by 58% on account of soil reinforcement in pit. The maximum deflection of diaphragm wall decreases by 61.2% when friction connection is implemented instead of tie connection. 展开更多

The process and characteristics of loading on high-speed railway bridge pile foundation were firstly obtained by means of field research and analysis,and the corresponding loading function was presented.One-dimensional consolidation equation of elastic multilayered soils was then established with single drainage or double drainages under multilevel loading.Moreover,the formulas for calculating effective stress and settlement were derived from the Laplace numerical inversion transform.The three-dimensional composite analysis method of bridge pile group was improved,where the actual load conditions of pile foundation could be simulated,and the consolidation characteristics of soil layers beneath pile were also taken into account.Eventually,a corresponding program named LTPGS was developed to improve the calculation efficiency.The comparison between long-term settlement obtained from the proposed method and the in-situ measurements of pile foundation was illustrated,and a close agreement is obtained.The error between computed and measured results is less than 1 mm,and it gradually reduces with time.It is shown that the proposed method can effectively simulate the long-term settlement of pile foundation and program LTPGS can provide a reliable estimation. 展开更多

The purpose of this work is to predict the state of collapse in shallow tunnel in layered strata by using a new curved failure mechanism within the framework of upper bound theorem.Particular emphasis is first given to consider the effects of seepage forces and surface settlement.Furthermore,the Hoek-Brown nonlinear failure criterion is adopted to analyze the influence of different factors on the collapsing shape.Two different curve functions which describe two different rock layers are obtained by virtual work equations under the variational principle.According to the numerical results,the parameter B in Hoek-Brown failure criterion and the unit weights in different rock layers have a positive relationship with the size of collapsing block while pore pressure coefficient and the parameter A in Hoek-Brown failure criterion present a reverse tend. 展开更多

This study aims to predict ground surface settlement due to shallow tunneling and introduce the most affecting parameters on this phenomenon.Based on data collected from Shanghai LRT Line 2 project undertaken by TBM-EPB method,this research has considered the tunnel's geometric,strength,and operational factors as the dependent variables.At first,multiple regression(MR) method was used to propose equations based on various parameters.The results indicated the dependency of surface settlement on many parameters so that the interactions among different parameters make it impossible to use MR method as it leads to equations of poor accuracy.As such,adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS),was used to evaluate its capabilities in terms of predicting surface settlement.Among generated ANFIS models,the model with all input parameters considered produced the best prediction,so as its associated R^2 in the test phase was obtained to be 0.957.The equations and models in which operational factors were taken into consideration gave better prediction results indicating larger relative effect of such factors.For sensitivity analysis of ANFIS model,cosine amplitude method(CAM) was employed; among other dependent variables,fill factor of grouting(n) and grouting pressure(P) were identified as the most affecting parameters. 展开更多

In order to analyze the effects of backfill materials, geometries and slab setting on the settlement of bridge approach embankment, scale model was built based on the structural characteristics of bridge approach embankment, and scale model tests were carried out under different conditions. The results show that when graded gravels were selected as the backfill materials, the effect of setting approach slab to reduce the differential settlement is more prominent. When lime soils were selected as the backfill material, approach slab can moderate the longitudinal settlement slope. When using different backfill materials, the ultimate settlement of the positive trapezoidal backfill geometries is less than that of the inverted trapezoid, and the backfill geometries have little effect on the settlement slope. 展开更多

Limit analysis of the stability of geomechanical projects is one of the most difficult problems.This work investigates the influences of different parameters in NL failure strength on possible collapsing block shapes of single and twin shallow tunnels with considering the effects of surface settlement.Upper bound solutions derived by functional catastrophe theory are used for describing the distinct characteristics of falling blocks of different parts in twin tunnels.Furthermore the analytical solutions of minimum supporting pressures in shallow tunnels are obtained by the help of the variational principle.Lastly,the comparisons are made both in collapsed mechanism and stability factor with different methods.According to the numerical results in this work,the influences of different parameters on the size of collapsing block are presented in the tables and the limit supporting loads are illustrated in the form graphs that account for the surface settlement. 展开更多

The mechanism of long-short composite piled raft foundation was discussed. Assuming the relationship between shear stress and shear strain of the surrounding soil was elasto-plastic, shear displacement method was employed to establish the different explicit relational equations between the load and the displacement at the top of pile in either elastic or elasto-plastic period. Then Mylonakis & Gazetas model was introduced to simulate the interaction between two piles or between piles and soil. Considering the effect of cushion, the flexible coefficients of interaction were provided, With the addition of a relevant program, the settlement calculation for long-short composite piled raft foundation was developed which could be used to account for the interaction of piles, soil and cushion. Finally, the calculation method was used to analyze an engineering example. The calculated value of settlement is 10.2 ram, which is close to the observed value 8.8 mm. 展开更多
