Two kinds of bronze-graphite-MoS_(2) self-lubricating materials with copper-coated MoS_(2) and uncoated MoS_(2) were prepared by powder metallurgy.Friction and wear experiments were carried out under 4 N and 10 N load...Two kinds of bronze-graphite-MoS_(2) self-lubricating materials with copper-coated MoS_(2) and uncoated MoS_(2) were prepared by powder metallurgy.Friction and wear experiments were carried out under 4 N and 10 N loads respectively,and the effects of copper-coated MoS_(2) on the friction performances of the materials were studied.Results showed that the way of copper-coated on the surface of MoS_(2) could reinforce the bonding between MoS_(2) and matrix,and inhibited the formation of MoO_(2).Moreover,both materials formed a MoS_(2) lubricating film on the surface during the friction process.While the lubricating film formed after copper coating on MoS_(2) was thicker and had uneven morphology,it was more conducive to improving the friction performance of the material.Compared with conventional materials,the wear rate of copper-coated materials was reduced by one order of magnitude,and the friction coefficient was also reduced by 22.44% and 22.53%,respectively,when sliding under 4 N and 10 N loads.It shows that copper-coated MoS_(2)can improve friction properties of bronze-graphite-MoS_(2)self-lubricating materials furtherly.展开更多
The tribological behaviors of Cu-15Ni-8Sn/graphite composites with the graphite content of 38 vol.%against AISI321 stainless steel under dry-sliding,deionized water and sea water were investigated on a block-on-ring c...The tribological behaviors of Cu-15Ni-8Sn/graphite composites with the graphite content of 38 vol.%against AISI321 stainless steel under dry-sliding,deionized water and sea water were investigated on a block-on-ring configuration.The results indicated that the friction coefficient was the lowest under dry-sliding,and the highest in deionized water.The wear rate decreased to reach the minimum value of 1.39×10-15 m^(3)/(N·m)in sea water and in deionized water,it increased to the maximum value of 5.56×10-15 m^(3)/(N·m).The deionized water hindered the formation of tribo-oxide layer and lubricating film,which resulted in the largest friction coefficient and wear rate.In sea water,however,the corrosion products comprised of oxides,hydroxides and chlorides were found on the worn surface,and the compacted layer composed of corrosion products and graphite played an important role in keeping the excellent wear resistance.It was elucidated that the tribological behaviors of Cu-15Ni-8Sn/graphite composite were powerful influenced by the friction environments.展开更多

The influence of pore-enlargement treatment on the porous structure and tribolo...A highly ordered porous alumina template with pores of 45 nm in diameter was synthesized by a two-step electrochemical anodizing process. The influence of pore-enlargement treatment on the porous structure and tribological properties of the film was investigated, and ultrasonic impregnation technology was applied on it to form self-lubricating surface. The structure of the self-lubricating film and its tribological properties were investigated in detail. It can be concluded that the optimum time of pore-enlargement treatment is 20 min. The diameter of the pores and the surface porosity of the film are about 70 nm and 30%, respectively, while the film maintains the property of its high hardness. Under the same friction condition, the frictional coefficient of the self-lubricating film is 0. 18, much lower than that of the anodic aluminum oxide template, which is 0.52. In comparison with the lubricating surface of non-porous dense anodic aluminum oxide template, the lubricating surface fabricated by the ultrasonic impregnation method on the porous anodic aluminum oxide template keeps longer period with low friction coefficient. Because of various error factors,the detecting errors in the real-time experimental data of the wear depth affect the accuracy of the detecting data.The self-made spherical plain bearing tester was studied,and its tes...Because of various error factors,the detecting errors in the real-time experimental data of the wear depth affect the accuracy of the detecting data.The self-made spherical plain bearing tester was studied,and its testing principle of the wear depth of the spherical plain bearing was introduced.Meanwhile,the error factors affecting the wear-depth detecting precision were analyzed.Then,the comprehensive error model of the wear-depth detecting system of the spherical plain bearing was built by the multi-body system theory(MBS).In addition,the thermal deformation of the wear-depth detecting system caused by varying the environmental temperature was detected.Finally,according to the above experimental parameters,the thermal errors of the related parts of the comprehensive error model were calculated by FEM.The results show that the difference between the simulation value and the experimental value is less than 0.005 mm,and the two values are close.The correctness of the comprehensive error model is verified under the thermal error experimental conditions.展开更多
