By mean linear digital simulation method, the collision forces ofthe collisions between rigid bridge pier and ship bow were calculated out for four different ships,whose tonnages are 5 000,10 000,50 000 and 60 000 DWT respectively. Curves of collisionforce-penetration and absorbed energy-penetration are obtained, and the data of the max loads arethen summarized. On the basis of these curves and data, a set of curves describing therelationships between max collision forces and tonnages of the ships are successfully presented, bywhich the max collision forces of the ships-bridge with different tonnages and in differentvelocities can be estimated easily and reliably. 展开更多

The acceleration mechanism and a self-consistent nonlinear theory are presented for the interaction of relativistic charged particle beams with electromagnetic waves. This paper presents a review of the work on fluid/structure impact based on inviscid and imcompressible liquid and irrotational flow. The focus is on the velocity potential theory together with boundary element method (BEM). Fully nonlinear boundary conditions are imposed on the unknown free surface and the wetted surface of the moving body. The review includes (1) vertical and oblique water entry of a body at constant or a prescribed varying speed, as well as free fall motion, (2) liquid droplets or column impact as well as wave impact on a body, (3) similarity solution of an expanding body. It covers two dimensional (2D), axisymmetric and three dimensional (3D) cases. Key techniques used in the numerical simulation are outlined, including mesh generation on the multivalued free surface, the stretched coordinate system for expanding domain, the auxiliary function method for decoupling the mutual dependence of the pressure and the body motion, and treatment for the jet or the thin liquid film developed during impact. 展开更多

This paper analyses a three-cavity frequency-quadrupling terahertz gyroklystron with successive frequency-doubling in each cavity with self-consistent nonlinear theory. The beam-wave interaction efficiency and the electron bunching process are studied. The variation of output efficiency with the length of drift tubes and output power and the variation of Ohmic loss with the length of output cavity are considered. Numerical simulations predict an optimal output efficiency of 1.8%, a power output of more than 2 kW and a gain of 33 dB after taking into account Ohmic losses when the frequency-quadrupling gyroklystron, driven by a 40-kV, 3-A electron beam and 1 Watt input power, operates at 225 CHz. 展开更多

Two cross-product terms are respectively in two equations. And one square term is in the third equation. Basic dynamic properties of the new system are investigated by means of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, sensitivity to initial, power spectrum, Lyapunov exponent, and Poincar~ diagrams. The dynamic properties affected by variable parameters are also analysed. Finally, the chaotic system is simulated by circuit. The results verify the existence and implementation of the system. 展开更多

The response of the train–bridge system has an obvious random behavior.A high traffic density and a long maintenance period of a track will result in a substantial increase in the number of trains running on a bridge,and there is small likelihood that the maximum responses of the train and bridge happen in the total maintenance period of the track.Firstly,the coupling model of train–bridge systems is reviewed.Then,an ensemble method is presented,which can estimate the small probabilities of a dynamic system with stochastic excitations.The main idea of the ensemble method is to use the NARX(nonlinear autoregressive with exogenous input)model to replace the physical model and apply subset simulation with splitting to obtain the extreme distribution.Finally,the efficiency of the suggested method is compared with the direct Monte Carlo simulation method,and the probability exceedance of train responses under the vertical track irregularity is discussed.The results show that when the small probability of train responses under vertical track irregularity is estimated,the ensemble method can reduce both the calculation time of a single sample and the required number of samples. 展开更多

Differences between two methods to derive a nonlinear Schrödinger equation and their application scopes

The present paper chooses a dusty plasma as an example to numerically and analytically study the differences between two different methods of obtaining nonlinear Schrödinger equation(NLSE).The first method is to derive a Korteweg–de Vries(KdV)-type equation and then derive the NLSE from the KdV-type equation,while the second one is to directly derive the NLSE from the original equation.It is found that the envelope waves from the two methods have different dispersion relations,different group velocities.The results indicate that two envelope wave solutions from two different methods are completely different.The results also show that the application scope of the envelope wave obtained from the second method is wider than that of the first one,though both methods are valuable in the range of their corresponding application scopes.It is suggested that,for other systems,both methods to derive NLSE may be correct,but their nonlinear wave solutions are different and their application scopes are also different. 展开更多

Q460高强钢焊接波形钢腹板梁的剪切性能研究

Q460高强钢焊接波形钢腹板抗剪强度的计算是波形钢腹板组合梁桥设计的关键问题。本文综合考虑焊接残余应力、初始几何缺陷和几何参数的影响,通过数值模拟的方法对3种常用波型的Q460高强钢波形钢腹板梁进行了非线性剪切屈曲研究。通过对比有限元模型的计算值和试验实测值,证明了有限元模型的正确性;分析了焊接残余应力和初始几何缺陷对高强钢焊接波形钢腹板梁抗剪强度的影响;将有限元结果与既有的波形钢腹板梁抗剪强度计算公式进行比较,并提出了抗剪强度下限计算公式。结果表明:所建立的有限元模型可用于计算波形钢腹板梁的初始刚度、极限抗剪强度、荷载-位移曲线和残余抗剪强度;焊接残余应力对抗剪强度影响较小,初始几何缺陷则具有显著影响,影响程度在剪切长细比λ_(s)>0.6后愈发明显;随着腹板厚度的增加,波形钢腹板的初始刚度和抗剪强度显著提升;波形钢腹板高度越小,钢材的利用率和残余抗剪强度越高;波形钢腹板的残余抗剪强度与波纹深度无关,而与破坏模式有关。研究成果可为高强钢焊接波形钢腹板梁抗剪强度计算与分析提供参考。 展开更多

采用尾流振子模型对柔性圆柱体建立振动控制耦合方程,以实现立管涡激振动(VIV)行为的准确预测和分析。鉴于方程的非线性、耦合性以及偏微分特征,提出一种新算法,即加权显隐交替计算数值方法,并对4种不同长径比的立管进行数值模拟。结果... 采用尾流振子模型对柔性圆柱体建立振动控制耦合方程,以实现立管涡激振动(VIV)行为的准确预测和分析。鉴于方程的非线性、耦合性以及偏微分特征,提出一种新算法,即加权显隐交替计算数值方法,并对4种不同长径比的立管进行数值模拟。结果表明:该方法在提升计算效率的同时,也增强数值稳定性;不同的空间和时间步长对差分格式稳定性以及计算速度存在影响,应灵活地调整这些参数以获得最佳的模拟效果;不同加权系数组合的数值解的精度对加权系数的选择并不敏感,选择计算简单且稳定性好的加权系数即可;深海立管的振动行为呈现出明显的方向性特征,这一行为是由行波和驻波的共同作用所引导;行波主要对立管的中部区域产生影响,而驻波则主要作用于立管的两端;随着立管长径比的增加,行波的影响逐渐向立管中上部分迁移,并且它控制的区间长度也随之增大,同时驻波对立管下端的影响变得越发显著,参与涡激振动的模态数量也相应增加。 展开更多

Base d on fluid velocity potential, an ALE finite element formulation for the analysi s of nonlinear sloshing problems has been developed. The ALE kinemat ical description is introduced to move the computational mesh independently of f luid motion, and the container fixed noninertial coordinate system is employed to establish the governing equations so that the mesh is needed to be updated in this coordinate system only. This leads to a very simple mesh moving algorithm which makes it easy to trace the motion of the moving boundaries and the free su rface without producing undesirable distortion of the computational mesh. The fi nite element method and finite difference method are used spacewise and timewise , respectively. A numerical example involving either forced horizontal oscillati on or forced pitching oscillation of the fluid filled container is presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the robustness of the method. In additi on, this work can be extended for the fluid structure interaction problems. 展开更多

拟牛顿法是化工过程模拟中一种常用的非线性方程组求解算法,提高其收敛性和计算效率对于流程模拟软件开发有着重要意义。本工作基于Nesterov加速拟牛顿法,给出其使用4种更新方法的改进形式。通过求解经典低维非线性方程组问题和典型化... 拟牛顿法是化工过程模拟中一种常用的非线性方程组求解算法,提高其收敛性和计算效率对于流程模拟软件开发有着重要意义。本工作基于Nesterov加速拟牛顿法,给出其使用4种更新方法的改进形式。通过求解经典低维非线性方程组问题和典型化工流程设计规定问题,比较了Nesterov加速4种拟牛顿法的计算效率。计算结果表明:基于CGBM更新方法的加速拟牛顿法在所测试的15组问题中计算成功率为93.3%,计算效率最高;而BFGS更新方法在化工设计规定问题中对于Jacobi矩阵的近似效果较差,计算成功率为60%,计算性能最低。Nesterov加速拟牛顿法已被成功应用于国产化工流程模拟软件,对于工业软件的国产化具有重要意义。 展开更多
