The dynamic governing equation is expressed as finite difference format and programmed by using MATLAB language. Compared with theoretical method, the finite difference method has been verified to be feasible by a case study. It is found that under seismic loading, the dynamic response of anchorage system is synchronously fluctuated with the seismic vibration. The change of displacement amplitude of material points is slight, and comparatively speaking, the displacement amplitude of the outside point is a little larger than that of the inside point, which shows amplification effect of surface. While the axial force amplitude transforms considerably from the inside to the outside. It increases first and reaches the peak value in the intersection between the anchoring section and free section, then decreases slowly in the free section. When considering damping effect of anchorage system, the finite difference method can reflect the time attenuation characteristic better, and the calculating result would be safer and more reasonable than the dynamic steady-state theoretical method. What is more, the finite difference method can be applied to the dynamic response analysis of harmonic and seismic random vibration for all kinds of anchor, and hence has a broad application prospect.展开更多

Generally, it means selecting the optimal weapon system among many alternatives, which is a multiple- attribute decision making (MADM) problem. This paper proposes a new mathematical model based on the response surface method (RSM) and the grey relational analysis (GRA). RSM is used to obtain the experimental points and analyze the factors that have a significant impact on the selection results. GRA is used to an- alyze the trend relationship between alternatives and reference series. And then an RSM model is obtained, which can be used to calculate all alternatives and obtain ranking results. A real world application is introduced to illustrate the utilization of the model for the weapon selection problem. The results show that this model can be used to help decision-makers to make a quick comparison of alternatives and select a proper weapon system from multiple alternatives, which is an effective and adaptable method for solving the weapon system selection problem.展开更多

Using method of perturbation, free vibrations of the mechanical system under electric disturbance were investigated. The forced responses of the mechanical system to mechanical excitation under electric disturbance were also presented. It is known that for the system with electric disturbance, as time grows, beat occurs. When electric disturbing frequency is near to the natural frequencies of the mechanical system or their integer multiple, resonance vibrations occur. The forced responses of the mechanical system to mechanical excitation under electric disturbance are compound vibrations decided by mechanical excitation, electric disturbance and parameters of the system. The coupled resonance vibration caused by electric disturbance and mechanical excitation was discussed as well. The conditions under which above coupled resonance occurs were presented. The results show that when the difference of the excitation frequency and the perturbation frequency is equal to some order of natural frequency, coupled resonance vibrations occur.展开更多

This paper reports the relationships between microscopic defects of Q345 steel plate under the explosive load and its macroscopic dynamics simulation. Firstly, the defect characteristics of the steel plate were investigated by stereoscopic microscope(SM) and scanning electron microscope(SEM). At the macroscopic level, the defect was the formation of cave which was concentrated in the range of 0-3.0 cm from the explosion center, while at the microscopic level, the cavity and void formation were the typical damage characteristics. It also explains that the difference in defect morphology at different positions was the combining results of high temperature and high pressure. Secondly, the variation rules of mechanical properties of steel plate under explosive load were studied. The Arbitrary Lagrange-Euler(ALE) algorithm and multi-material fluid-structure coupling method were used to simulate the explosion process of steel plate. The accuracy of the method was verified by comparing the deformation of the simulation results with the experimental results, the pressure and stress at different positions on the surface of the steel plate were obtained. The simulation results indicated that the critical pressure causing the plate defects may be approximately 2.01 GPa. On this basis, it was found that the variation rules of surface pressure and microscopic defect area of the Q345 steel plate were strikingly similar, and the corresponding mathematical relationship between them was established. Compared with Monomolecular growth fitting models(MGFM) and Logistic fitting models(LFM), the relationship can be better expressed by cubic polynomial fitting model(CPFM). This paper illustrated that the explosive defect characteristics of metal plate at the microscopic level can be explored by analyzing its macroscopic dynamic mechanical response.展开更多

文摘In order to accommodate higher speeds, heavier axle weights, and vibration damping criteria,a new floating slab structure was proposed. The new type of floating slab track structure was composed of three prefabricated floating slabs longitudinally interconnected with magnesium ammonium phosphate concrete(MPC).This study investigated the dynamic performance of the structure. We constructd a full-scale indoor experimental model to scrutinize the disparities in the impact performance between a longitudinally connected floating slab track and its longitudinally disconnected counterpart.Additionally,a long-term fatigue experiment was conducted to assess the impact performance of longitudinally connected floating slab tracks under fatigue loading. The findings are described in the following.1)The new structure effectively suppresses ground vibrations, exhibiting a well-balanced energy distribution profile. However, the imposition of fatigue loading leads to a reduction in the damping performance of the steel spring damping system, thereby reducing its capacity to attenuate structural vibrations and leading to an increase in ground vibration energy;2)After 107 loading cycles, the attenuation rate of the vibration acceleration for the MPC increases by 171.9%.Conversely,at the corresponding disconnected location, the attenuation rate of ground vibration acceleration decreases by 65.6%.In conclusion, longitudinally connected floating slab tracks exhibit superior vibration reduction performance. While the vibration reduction performance of longitudinally connected floating slab tracks may diminish to some extent during long-term service, these tracks continue to meet specific vibration reduction requirements.
文摘In this paper, the isogeometric analysis(IGA)method is employed to analyze the oscillation characteristics of functionally graded triply periodic minimal surface(FG-TPMS)curved-doubly shells integrated with magneto-electric surface layers(referred to as"FG-TPMS-MEE curved-doubly shells")subjected to low-velocity impact loads. This study presents low-velocity impact load model based on a single springmass(S-M)approach.The FG-TPMS-MEE curved-doubly shells are covered with two magneto-electric surface layers, while the core layer consists of three types:I-graph and Wrapped Package-graph(IWP),Gyroid(G),and Primitive(P),with various graded functions. These types are notable for their exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratios, enabling a wide range of potential applications. The Maxwell equations and electromagnetic boundary conditions are applied to compute the change in electric potentials and magnetic potentials. The equilibrium equations of the shell are derived from a refined higher-order shear deformation theory(HSDT),and the transient responses of the FG-TPMS-MEE curveddoubly shells are subsequently determined using Newmark's direct integration method. These results have applications in structural vibration control and the analysis of structures subjected to impact or explosive loads.Furthermore, this study provides a theoretical prediction of the low-velocity impact load and magneto-electric-elastic effects on the free vibration and transient response of FG-TPMS-MEE curved-doubly shells.

文摘The Underwater Communication Link(UCL)is a crucial component of Underwater Wireless Optical Communication(UWOC)systems, requiring optimised design to mitigate the high power attenuation inherent in seawater. To ensure the reliability of an optimal UCL design,it is essential to account for the three primary scattering regimes:forward scattering(FSC),backward scattering(BSC),and isotropic scattering(ISC)in seawater channels. This study introduces a new photon-tracking model based on a discrete equation, facilitating Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS)to evaluate how different scattering regimes influence received photon distribution.Three distinct Scattering Regime Contribution Weight(SRCW)probability sets were employed, each representing different UCL operational configurations dominated by specific scattering regimes. The proposed modeling approach enables a comprehensive assessment of the temporal characteristics of received optical pulses, channel loss, and time spread-ultimately defining the optimal UCL design parameters. The key findings of this study include:(1)Enhancing the FSC regime dominance leads to a quasi-light waveguide effect over link spans and small Fields of View(FOV)<25°,significantly improving channel performance in Harbor seawater compared to Coastal seawater.(2)A well-designed UCL with a small FOV(<25°)can minimise channel loss and time spread, ensuring high capacity and efficient performance in both Coastal and Harbor seawaters.(3)When BSC and ISC contributions exceed FSC dominance, the received optical pulse undergoes significant temporal broadening, particularly for larger FOV angles(>25°)and extended link spans.(4)The developed novel MCS-based discrete equation provides a simple yet robust model for simulating photon propagation in both homogeneous and inhomogeneous underwater channels. These insights contribute to developing more efficient and reliable UCL designs with military standards by enhancing UWOC system performance over a longer linkspan for a given limited optical power across various underwater environments.

文摘Based on some assumptions, the dynamic analysis model of anchorage system is established. What is more, the finite difference method can be applied to the dynamic response analysis of harmonic and seismic random vibration for all kinds of anchor, and hence has a broad application prospect.

文摘A proper weapon system is very important for a na- tional defense system. The results show that this model can be used to help decision-makers to make a quick comparison of alternatives and select a proper weapon system from multiple alternatives, which is an effective and adaptable method for solving the weapon system selection problem.

文摘The structural system failure probability(SFP) is a valuable tool for evaluating the global safety level of concrete gravity dams.Traditional methods for estimating the failure probabilities are based on defined mathematical descriptions, namely, limit state functions of failure modes.Several problems are to be solved in the use of traditional methods for gravity dams. One is how to define the limit state function really reflecting the mechanical mechanism of the failure mode;another is how to understand the relationship among failure modes and enable the probability of the whole structure to be determined.Performing SFP analysis for a gravity dam system is a challenging task. This work proposes a novel nonlinear finite-element-based SFP analysis method for gravity dams.Firstly, reasonable nonlinear constitutive modes for dam concrete,concrete/rock interface and rock foundation are respectively introduced according to corresponding mechanical mechanisms.Meanwhile the response surface(RS) method is used to model limit state functions of main failure modes through the Monte Carlo(MC) simulation results of the dam-interface-foundation interaction finite element(FE) analysis.Secondly,a numerical SFP method is studied to compute the probabilities of several failure modes efficiently by simple matrix integration operations. Then, the nonlinear FE-based SFP analysis methodology for gravity dams considering correlated failure modes with the additional sensitivity analysis is proposed. Finally,a comprehensive computational platform for interfacing the proposed method with the open source FE code Code Aster is developed via a freely available MATLAB software tool(FERUM).This methodology is demonstrated by a case study of an existing gravity dam analysis,in which the dominant failure modes are identified, and the corresponding performance functions are established. Then, the dam failure probability of the structural system is obtained by the proposed method considering the correlation relationship of main failure modes on the basis of the mechanical mechanism analysis with the MC-FE simulations.

文摘For unacceptable computational efficiency and accuracy on the probabilistic analysis of multi-component system with multi-failure modes, this paper proposed multi-extremum response surface method(MERSM).MERSM model was established based on quadratic polynomial function by taking extremum response surface model as the sub-model of multi-response surface method. The dynamic probabilistic analysis of an aeroengine turbine blisk with two components, and their reliability of deformation and stress failures was obtained, based on thermal-structural coupling technique,by considering the nonlinearity of material parameters and the transients of gas flow, gas temperature and rotational speed. The results show that the comprehensive reliability of structure is 0.9904 when the allowable deformations and stresses of blade and disk are 4.78×10–3 m and 1.41×109 Pa,and 1.64×10–3 m and 1.04×109 Pa,respectively.Besides, gas temperature and rotating speed severely influence the comprehensive reliability of system.Through the comparison of methods,it is shown that the MERSM holds higher computational precision and speed in the probabilistic analysis of turbine blisk, and MERSM computational precision satisfies the requirement of engineering design. The efforts of this study address the difficulties on transients and multiple models coupling for the dynamic probabilistic analysis of multi-component system with multi-failure modes.

文摘An operating simulation mode for multireach canal system in series under gate regulating is established. The discharge feedforward plus water lever feedback PID controller was adopted. And the performance indicators are introduced to evaluate the control effects of canal operation. Influence on dynamic response process and dynamic performance as well as the control actions of canal system are studied according to the variation of the gate deadband and water level deadband. The results showed that the larger the gate deadband, the worse, the control effect of canal system over water level, and so done the stable process of gate discharge, yet the stable process of gate opening was getting better, while the upstream gate regulation of each canal pool was less at the time when canal stabilizes; the closer to downstream end of canal, the lager steady-state error of this canal pool was, and the lager influence of gate deadband on the steady-state error as well as response time of this canal pool was; the canal system can not acquire superiority in both the control performance and control actions when only the water level deadband was established.

文摘Based on electromagnetics and mechanics, electromechanical coupled dynamic equations for the drive were developed. The results show that when the difference of the excitation frequency and the perturbation frequency is equal to some order of natural frequency, coupled resonance vibrations occur.

文摘This paper deals with the collision of sphere shape grenades with sand media. The central issue of the article is the establishing of an empirical velocity equation of the grenade while impacting on sand that is used to solve motion equations of the mechanical mechanism inside the impact grenade fuze. The paper focuses on impact velocities that are lower than 5 m s^(-1).An experiment was conducted to study the velocity of the grenade while impacting on dry sand.A high-speed camera video was used to capture the grenade positions. The grenade velocity in the impact process was generated from these video data. Some types of fitting curves are used to regress the velocity equation of the grenade while interacting with the sand media and the best-fitting model is chosen. The result shows the regression curve has a high correlation with the experiment data for grenade velocities below 5 m s^(-1).The received regression equation is useful for analyzing the working ability of the inertial mechanism inside the impact grenade or analyzing and choosing the appropriate parameters of each part in the inertial mechanism to meet the required characteristics of the mechanism.

文摘Chemical inclusions significantly alter shock responses of crystalline explosives in macroscale gap experiments but their microscale dynamics origin remains unclear.Herein shock-induced energy localization, overall physical responses, and reactions in a-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazinane(a-RDX)crystal entrained various chemical inclusions were investigated by the multi-scale shock technique implemented in the reactive molecular dynamics method. Results indicated that energy localization and shock reaction were affected by the intrinsic factors within chemical inclusions,i.e.,phase states, chemical compositions, and concentrations. The atomic origin of chemical-inclusions effects on energy localization is dependent on the dynamics mechanism of interfacial molecules with free space volume, which includes homogeneous intermolecular compression, interfacial impact and shear, and void collapse and jet.As introducing various chemical inclusions, the initiation of those dynamics mechanisms triggers diverse decay rates of bulk RDX molecules and hereby impacts on growth speeds of final reactions.Adding chemical inclusions can reduce the effectiveness of the void during the shock impacting.Under the shockwave velocity of 9 km/s,the parent RDX decay rate in RDX entrained amorphous carbon decreases the most and is about one fourth of that in RDX with a vacuum void, and solid HMX and TATB inclusions are more reactive than amorphous carbon but less reactive than dry air or acetone inclusions. The lessdense shocking system denotes the greater increases in local temperature and stress, the faster energy liberation, and the earlier final reaction into equilibrium, revealing more pronounced responses to the present intense shockwave. The quantitative models associated with the relative system density(RD_(sys))were proposed for indicating energy-localization mechanisms and evaluating initiation safety in the shocked crystalline explosive.RD_(sys)is defined by the density ratio of defective RDX to perfect crystal after dynamics relaxation and reveals the global density characteristic in shocked systems filled with chemical inclusions. When RD_(sys)is below 0.9,local hydrodynamic jet initiated by void collapse dominates upon energy localization instead of interfacial impact. This study sheds light on novel insights for understanding the shock chemistry and physical-based atomic origin in crystalline explosives considering chemical-inclusions effects.

文摘As the basic protective element, steel plate had attracted world-wide attention because of frequent threats of explosive loads. This paper illustrated that the explosive defect characteristics of metal plate at the microscopic level can be explored by analyzing its macroscopic dynamic mechanical response.
