In this paper,an adaptive cubic regularisation algorithm based on affine scaling methods(ARCBASM)is proposed for solving nonlinear equality constrained programming with nonnegative constraints on variables.From the optimality conditions of the problem,we introduce appropriate affine matrix and construct an affine scaling ARC subproblem with linearized constraints.Composite step methods and reduced Hessian methods are applied to tackle the linearized constraints.As a result,a standard unconstrained ARC subproblem is deduced and its solution can supply sufficient decrease.The fraction to the boundary rule maintains the strict feasibility(for nonnegative constraints on variables)of every iteration point.Reflection techniques are employed to prevent the iterations from approaching zero too early.Under mild assumptions,global convergence of the algorithm is analysed.Preliminary numerical results are reported. 展开更多

Aiming to solve the steering instability and hysteresis of agricultural robots in the process of movement,a fusion PID control method of particle swarm optimization(PSO)and genetic algorithm(GA)was proposed.The fusion algorithm took advantage of the fast optimization ability of PSO to optimize the population screening link of GA.The Simulink simulation results showed that the convergence of the fitness function of the fusion algorithm was accelerated,the system response adjustment time was reduced,and the overshoot was almost zero.Then the algorithm was applied to the steering test of agricultural robot in various scenes.After modeling the steering system of agricultural robot,the steering test results in the unloaded suspended state showed that the PID control based on fusion algorithm reduced the rise time,response adjustment time and overshoot of the system,and improved the response speed and stability of the system,compared with the artificial trial and error PID control and the PID control based on GA.The actual road steering test results showed that the PID control response rise time based on the fusion algorithm was the shortest,about 4.43 s.When the target pulse number was set to 100,the actual mean value in the steady-state regulation stage was about 102.9,which was the closest to the target value among the three control methods,and the overshoot was reduced at the same time.The steering test results under various scene states showed that the PID control based on the proposed fusion algorithm had good anti-interference ability,it can adapt to the changes of environment and load and improve the performance of the control system.It was effective in the steering control of agricultural robot.This method can provide a reference for the precise steering control of other robots. 展开更多

To enhance the accuracy of path planning of unmanned surface vehicles(USVs),the particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)is improved based on species migration strategies observed in ecology.By incorporating the concept of particle sight distance,an improved algorithm,called SD-IPSO,is proposed for the real-time autonomous navigation of USVs in marine environments.The algorithm refines the individual behavior pattern of particles in the population,effectively improving both local and global search capabilities while avoiding premature convergence.The effectiveness of the algorithm is validated using standard test functions from CEC-2017 function library,assessing it from multiple dimensions.Sensitivity analysis is conducted on key parameters in the algorithm,including particle sight distance and population size.Results indicate that compared with PSO,SD-IPSO demonstrates significant advantages in optimization accuracy and convergence speed.The application of SD-IPSO in path planning is further investigated through a 14-point traveling salesman problem(TSP)example and navigation autonomous tests of USVs in marine environments.Findings demonstrate that the proposed algorithm exhibits superior optimization capabilities and can effectively address the path planning challenges of USVs. 展开更多

The highly dynamic nature,strong uncertainty,and coupled multiple safety constraints inherent in carrier aircraft recovery operations pose severe challenges for real-time decision-making.Addressing bolter scenarios,this study proposes an intelligent decision-making framework based on a deep long short-term memory Q-network.This framework transforms the real-time sequencing for bolter recovery problem into a partially observable Markov decision process.It employs a stacked long shortterm memory network to accurately capture the long-range temporal dependencies of bolter event chains and fuel consumption.Furthermore,it integrates a prioritized experience replay training mechanism to construct a safe and adaptive scheduling system capable of millisecond-level real-time decision-making.Experimental demonstrates that,within large-scale mass recovery scenarios,the framework achieves zero safety violations in static environments and maintains a fuel safety violation rate below 10%in dynamic scenarios,with single-step decision times at the millisecond level.The model exhibits strong generalization capability,effectively responding to unforeseen emergent situations—such as multiple bolters and fuel emergencies—without requiring retraining.This provides robust support for efficient carrier-based aircraft recovery operations. 展开更多

Frequency diverse array multiple-input multiple-output(FDA-MIMO)radar has gained considerable research attention due to its ability to effectively counter active repeater deception jamming in complex electromagnetic environments.The effectiveness of interference suppression by FDA-MIMO is limited by the inherent range-angle coupling issue in the FDA beampattern.Existing literature primarily focuses on control methods for FDA-MIMO radar beam direction under the assumption of static beampatterns,with insufficient exploration of techniques for managing nonstationary beam directions.To address this gap,this paper initially introduces the FDA-MIMO signal model and the calculation formula for the FDA-MIMO array output using the minimum variance distortionless response(MVDR)beamformer.Building on this,the problem of determining the optimal frequency offset for the FDA is rephrased as a convex optimization problem,which is then resolved using the cuckoo search(CS)algorithm.Simulations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach,showing that the frequency offsets obtained through the CS algorithm can create a dot-shaped beam direction at the target location while effectively suppressing interference signals within the mainlobe. 展开更多

This paper concerns the problem of object segmentation in real-time for picking system. A region proposal method inspired by human glance based on the convolutional neural network is proposed to select promising regions, allowing more processing is reserved only for these regions. The speed of object segmentation is significantly improved by the region proposal method.By the combination of the region proposal method based on the convolutional neural network and superpixel method, the category and location information can be used to segment objects and image redundancy is significantly reduced. The processing time is reduced considerably by this to achieve the real time. Experiments show that the proposed method can segment the interested target object in real time on an ordinary laptop. 展开更多

为了建立同时检测奶牛临床型乳房炎中肺炎克雷伯菌(Kp)、产色葡萄球菌(Sc)和牛支原体(Mb),基于Kp ZKIR基因、Sc sodA基因和Mb opp D/F基因设计特异性引物,建立三重实时定量荧光PCR方法(real-time PCR)。试验采用在单一real-time PCR检... 为了建立同时检测奶牛临床型乳房炎中肺炎克雷伯菌(Kp)、产色葡萄球菌(Sc)和牛支原体(Mb),基于Kp ZKIR基因、Sc sodA基因和Mb opp D/F基因设计特异性引物,建立三重实时定量荧光PCR方法(real-time PCR)。试验采用在单一real-time PCR检测方法的基础上对三重real-time PCR检测方法进行优化,并确定退火条件为60℃,肺炎克雷伯菌、产色葡萄球菌以及牛支原体上、下游引物浓度为20μmol/L、荧光探针浓度为10μmol/L。结果表明,该方法对标准品pUC57-ZKIR-Kp、pUC57-sodA-Sc、pUC57-opp D/F-Mb最低检测限分别为1.55×10^(2) copies/μL、1.44×10^(2) copies/μL、1.34×10^(2) copies/μL,灵敏度高;仅对Kp、Sc、Mb这3种病原产生荧光曲线,对其他病原无交叉反应,特异性强;其中组内、组间变异系数均小于2%,重复性良好。利用建立的多重real-time PCR对233份临床样品进行检测,Kp、Sc、Mb检出率分别为73.09%、21.97%、6.72%,与单一real-time PCR方法检测结果一致。说明建立的多重real-time PCR在实际应用中具有灵敏度高、特异性强、重复性良好、检测速度快等优点,可为奶牛临床型乳房炎病原的快速检测、临床诊断和流行病学调查提供有效检测手段。 展开更多

In order to improve the efficiency of cloud-based web services,an improved plant growth simulation algorithm scheduling model.This model first used mathematical methods to describe the relationships between cloud-based web services and the constraints of system resources.Then,a light-induced plant growth simulation algorithm was established.The performance of the algorithm was compared through several plant types,and the best plant model was selected as the setting for the system.Experimental results show that when the number of test cloud-based web services reaches 2048,the model being 2.14 times faster than PSO,2.8 times faster than the ant colony algorithm,2.9 times faster than the bee colony algorithm,and a remarkable 8.38 times faster than the genetic algorithm. 展开更多

The design of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)revolves around the careful selection of materials that are both lightweight and robust.Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer(CFRP)emerged as an ideal option for wing construction,with its mechanical qualities thoroughly investigated.In this study,we developed and optimized a conceptual UAV wing to withstand structural loads by establishing progressive composite stacking sequences,and we conducted a series of experimental characterizations on the resulting material.In the optimization phase,the objective was defined as weight reduction,while the Hashin damage criterion was established as the constraint for the optimization process.The optimization algorithm adaptively monitors regional damage criterion values,implementing necessary adjustments to facilitate the mitigation process in a cost-effective manner.Optimization of the analytical model using Simulia Abaqus~(TM)and a Python-based user-defined sub-routine resulted in a 34.7%reduction in the wing's structural weight after 45 iterative rounds.Then,the custom-developed optimization algorithm was compared with a genetic algorithm optimization.This comparison has demonstrated that,although the genetic algorithm explores numerous possibilities through hybridization,the custom-developed algorithm is more result-oriented and achieves optimization in a reduced number of steps.To validate the structural analysis,test specimens were fabricated from the wing's most critically loaded segment,utilizing the identical stacking sequence employed in the optimization studies.Rigorous mechanical testing revealed unexpectedly high compressive strength,while tensile and bending strengths fell within expected ranges.All observed failure loads remained within the established safety margins,thereby confirming the reliability of the analytical predictions. 展开更多

The gears of new energy vehicles are required to withstand higher rotational speeds and greater loads,which puts forward higher precision essentials for gear manufacturing.However,machining process parameters can cause changes in cutting force/heat,resulting in affecting gear machining precision.Therefore,this paper studies the effect of different process parameters on gear machining precision.A multi-objective optimization model is established for the relationship between process parameters and tooth surface deviations,tooth profile deviations,and tooth lead deviations through the cutting speed,feed rate,and cutting depth of the worm wheel gear grinding machine.The response surface method(RSM)is used for experimental design,and the corresponding experimental results and optimal process parameters are obtained.Subsequently,gray relational analysis-principal component analysis(GRA-PCA),particle swarm optimization(PSO),and genetic algorithm-particle swarm optimization(GA-PSO)methods are used to analyze the experimental results and obtain different optimal process parameters.The results show that optimal process parameters obtained by the GRA-PCA,PSO,and GA-PSO methods improve the gear machining precision.Moreover,the gear machining precision obtained by GA-PSO is superior to other methods. 展开更多

In this paper,a linear optimization method(LOM)for the design of terahertz circuits is presented,aimed at enhancing the simulation efficacy and reducing the time of the circuit design workflow.This method enables the rapid determination of optimal embedding impedance for diodes across a specific bandwidth to achieve maximum efficiency through harmonic balance simulations.By optimizing the linear matching circuit with the optimal embedding impedance,the method effectively segregates the simulation of the linear segments from the nonlinear segments in the frequency multiplier circuit,substantially improving the speed of simulations.The design of on-chip linear matching circuits adopts a modular circuit design strategy,incorporating fixed load resistors to simplify the matching challenge.Utilizing this approach,a 340 GHz frequency doubler was developed and measured.The results demonstrate that,across a bandwidth of 330 GHz to 342 GHz,the efficiency of the doubler remains above 10%,with an input power ranging from 98 mW to 141mW and an output power exceeding 13 mW.Notably,at an input power of 141 mW,a peak output power of 21.8 mW was achieved at 334 GHz,corresponding to an efficiency of 15.8%. 展开更多

Data-driven distributionally robust Kelly portfolio optimization based on coherent Wasserstein metrics

The Kelly strategy is a common approach in portfolio optimization problems that aims to maximize the expected portfolio growth rate in the long term.Its computation requires complete knowledge of the asset return distribution,which is obviously not observable,but can be inferred from sample data.Motivated by recent developments in data-driven optimization methods,we propose a new class of coherent Wasserstein data-driven Kelly portfolio optimization models.In particular,we establish a class of ambiguity sets based on coherent Wasserstein metrics,and these new metrics can strike a good balance between robustness and data-drivenness,thus providing richer choices for ambiguity set design.The Kelly portfolio optimization model,which is data-driven and based on coherent Wasserstein balls,can be solved efficiently as a finite-dimensional convex program.This model also provides a robust data-driven solution.In addition,we numerically investigate the proposed model and find that it outperforms the type-1 Wasserstein-Kelly portfolio,especially the classical Kelly portfolio.Moreover,it indicates that we can obtain a portfolio with higher final value and stability,especially in controlling volatility and maximum drawdown. 展开更多

In order to accurately forecast the main engine fuel consumption and reduce the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator(EEOI)of merchant ships in polar ice areas,the energy transfer relationship between ship-machine-propeller is studied by analyzing the complex force situation during ship navigation and building a MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform based on multi-environmental resistance,propeller efficiency,main engine power,fuel consumption,fuel consumption rate and EEOI calculation module.Considering the environmental factors of wind,wave and ice,the route is divided into sections,the calculation of main engine power,main engine fuel consumption and EEOI for each section is completed,and the speed design is optimized based on the simulation model for each section.Under the requirements of the voyage plan,the optimization results show that the energy efficiency operation index of the whole route is reduced by 3.114%and the fuel consumption is reduced by 9.17 t. 展开更多

As an advanced 4^(th) generation synchrotron radiation facility,the Shenzhen Innovation Light-source Facility(SILF)storage ring is based on multi-bend achromat(MBA)lattices,enabling one to two orders of magnitude reduction in beam emittance compared to the 3^(rd) generation storage ring.This significantly enhance the radiation brightness and coherence.The multipole magnets of many types for SILF storage ring are under preliminary design,which require high integral field homogeneity.As a result,a dedicated pole tip optimization procedure with high efficiency is developed for quadrupole and sextupole magnets with Opera-2D^(■)python script.The procedure considers also the 3D field effect which makes the optimization more straightforward.In this paper,the design of the quadrupole and sextupole magnets for SILF storage ring is first presented,followed by a detailed description of the implemented pole shape optimization method. 展开更多

Aimed to address the multi-objective scheduling problem in printing workshops,a hybrid optimization algorithm combining Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),Genetic Algorithm(GA),and Simulated Annealing(SA)was by proposed which called PGA-PSO-SA(Parallel Genetic Algorithm-Particle Swarm Optimization-Simulated Annealing).Firstly,PSO algorithm was used for global search to quickly find the initial solution.Then,GA optimization selection and crossover operations were used to enhance population diversity.Then,SA algorithm was employed for local search to further improve the solution quality.Experimental results showed that this method achieves better results in terms of job completion time,energy consumption,and machine load distribution.Compared to single algorithms,PGA-PSO-SA hybrid algorithm can more effectively find the global optimal solution,enhancing the overall performance of the scheduling scheme.The research results provides new ideas and methods for scheduling optimization in printing workshops. 展开更多

Design of broadband achromatic far-infrared metalens based on chalcogenide glass using parameterized topology optimization

Metalens technology has been applied extensively in miniaturized and integrated infrared imaging systems.However,due to the high phase dispersion of unit structures,metalens often exhibits chromatic aberration,making broadband achromatic infrared imaging challenging to achieve.In this paper,six different unit structures based on chalcogenide glass are constructed,and their phase-dispersion parameters are analyzed to establish a database.On this basis,using chromatic aberration compensation and parameterized adjoint topology optimization,a broadband achromatic metalens with a numerical aperture of 0.5 is designed by arranging these six unit structures in the far-infrared band.Simulation results show that the metalens achieves near diffraction-limited focusing within the operating wavelength range of 9−11μm,demonstrating the good performance of achromatic aberration with flat focusing efficiency of 54%−58%across all wavelengths. 展开更多
