After bilinear interpolation reduces the original image to a suitable size, an improved novel enhanced quantum representation(INEQR) is used to encode it into quantum states as the input of the HQDNN. Multi-layer parameterized quantum circuits are used as the main structure to implement feature extraction and classification. The output results of parameterized quantum circuits are converted into classical data through quantum measurements and then optimized on a classical computer. To verify the performance of the HQDNN, we conduct binary classification and three classification experiments on the MNIST(Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology) data set. In the first binary classification, the accuracy of 0 and 4 exceeds98%. Then we compare the performance of three classification with other algorithms, the results on two datasets show that the classification accuracy is higher than that of quantum deep neural network and general quantum convolutional neural network.展开更多

To surmount such an obstacle, it is desirable to integrate qubits with quantum–classical interface(QCI) circuits based on rapid single flux quantum(RSFQ) circuits. In this work, a digital flux tuner for qubits(DFTQ) is proposed for manipulating flux of qubits as a crucial part of the interface circuit. A schematic diagram of the DFTQ is presented, consisting of a coarse tuning unit and a fine-tuning unit for providing magnetic flux with different precision to qubits. The method of using DFTQ to provide flux for gate operations is discussed from the optimization of circuit design and input signal. To verify the effectiveness of the method, simulations of a single DFTQ and quantum gates including a Z gate and an iSWAP gate with DFTQs are performed for flux-tunable transmons. The quantum process tomography corresponding to the two gates is also carried out to analyze the sources of gate error. The results of tomography show that the gate fidelities independent of the initial states of the Z gate and the iSWAP gate are 99.935% and 99.676%,respectively. With DFTQs inside, the QCI would be a powerful tool for building large-scale quantum computers.展开更多

However, the fidelity and visibility of the readout process are sensitive to the choice of the thresholds and limited by the experimental hardware. By demonstrating the linear dependence between the measured spin state probabilities and readout visibilities along with dark counts, we describe an alternative threshold-independent method for the single-shot readout of spin qubits in semiconductor quantum dots. We can obtain the extrapolated spin state probabilities of the prepared probabilities of the excited spin state through the threshold-independent method. We then analyze the corresponding errors of the method, finding that errors of the extrapolated probabilities cannot be neglected with no constraints on the readout time and threshold voltage. Therefore, by limiting the readout time and threshold voltage, we ensure the accuracy of the extrapolated probability. We then prove that the efficiency and robustness of this method are 60 times larger than those of the most commonly used method. Moreover, we discuss the influence of the electron temperature on the effective area with a fixed external magnetic field and provide a preliminary demonstration for a single-shot readout of up to 0.7K/1.5T in the future.展开更多

In particular, the security of widely used public-key cryptosystems merits deep research to protect against new types of attacks. It is therefore highly meaningful to research cryptanalysis in the quantum computing environment. Shor proposed a wellknown factoring algorithm by finding the prime factors of a number n =pq, which is exponentially faster than the best known classical algorithm. The idea behind Shor's quantum factoring algorithm is a straightforward programming consequence of the following proposition: to factor n, it suffices to find the order r; once such an r is found, one can compute gcd( a^(r/2) ±1, n)=p or q. For odd values of r it is assumed that the factors of n cannot be found(since a^(r/2) is not generally an integer). That is, the order r must be even. This restriction can be removed, however, by working from another angle. Based on the quantum inverse Fourier transform and phase estimation, this paper presents a new polynomial-time quantum algorithm for breaking RSA, without explicitly factoring the modulus n. The probability of success of the new algorithm is greater than 4φ( r)/π~2 r, exceeding that of the existing quantum algorithm forattacking RSA based on factorization. In constrast to the existing quantum algorithm for attacking RSA, the order r of the fixed point C for RSA does not need to be even. It changed the practices that cryptanalysts try to recover the private-key, directly from recovering the plaintext M to start, a ciphertext-only attack attacking RSA is proposed.展开更多

文摘In semiconductor quantum dot systems, pulse distortion is a significant source of coherent errors, which impedes qubit characterization and control. Here,we demonstrate two calibration methods using a two-qubit system as the detector to correct distortion and calibrate the transfer function of the control line. Both methods are straightforward to implement, robust against noise, and applicable to a wide range of qubit types. The two methods differ in correction accuracy and complexity. The first, coarse predistortion(CPD)method, partially mitigates distortion. The second, all predistortion(APD)method, measures the transfer function and significantly enhances exchange oscillation uniformity. Both methods use exchange oscillation homogeneity as the metric and are suitable for any qubit driven by a diabatic pulse. We believe these methods will enhance qubit characterization accuracy and operation quality in future applications.

文摘A realizable quantum encryption algorithm for qubits is presented by employing bit-wise quantum computation. System extension and bit-swapping are introduced into the encryption process, which makes the ciphertext space expanded greatly. The security of the proposed algorithm is analysed in detail and the schematic physical implementation is also provided. It is shown that the algorithm, which can prevent quantum attack strategy as well as classical attack strategy, is effective to protect qubits. Finally, we extend our algorithm to encrypt classical binary bits and quantum entanglements.

文摘Security analysis of public-key cryptosystems is of fundamental significance for both theoretical research and applications in cryptography. It changed the practices that cryptanalysts try to recover the private-key, directly from recovering the plaintext M to start, a ciphertext-only attack attacking RSA is proposed.

文摘Quantum coherence is a basic concept in quantum mechanics, representing one of the most fundamental characteristics that distinguishes quantum mechanics from classical physics. Quantum coherence is the basis for multi-particle interference and quantum entanglement. It is also the essential ingredient for various physical phenomena in quantum optics, quantum information, etc. In recent years, with the proposal of a quantum coherence measurement scheme based on a resource theory framework, quantum coherence as a quantum resource has been extensively investigated. This article reviews the resource theories of quantum coherence and introduces the important applications of quantum coherence in quantum computing, quantum information, and interdisciplinary fields, particularly in quantum thermodynamics and quantum biology. Quantum coherence and its applications are still being explored and developed. We hope this review can provide inspiration for relevant research.

文摘We provide an overview of quantum photonic network on chip. We begin from the discussion of the pros and cons of several material platforms for engineering quantum photonic chips. Then we introduce and analyze the basic building blocks and functional units of quantum photonic integrated circuits. In the main part of this review, we focus on the generation and manipulation of quantum states of light on chip and are particularly interested in some applications of advanced integrated circuits with different functionalities for quantum information processing, including quantum communication, quantum computing, and quantum simulation. We emphasize that developing fully integrated quantum photonic chip which contains sources of quantum light, integrate circuits, modulators, quantum storage, and detectors are promising approaches for future quantum photonic technologies. Recent achievements in the large scale photonic chips for linear optical computing are also included. Finally, we illustrate the challenges toward high performance quantum information processing devices and conclude with promising perspectives in this field.

文摘The original variational quantum eigensolver(VQE)typically minimizes energy with hybrid quantum-classical optimization that aims to find the ground state. Here,we propose a VQE based on minimizing energy variance and call it the variance-VQE,which treats the ground state and excited states on the same footing, since an arbitrary eigenstate for a Hamiltonian should have zero energy variance. We demonstrate the properties of the variance-VQE for solving a set of excited states in quantum chemistry problems.Remarkably,we show that optimization of a combination of energy and variance may be more efficient to find low-energy excited states than those of minimizing energy or variance alone. We further reveal that the optimization can be boosted with stochastic gradient descent by Hamiltonian sampling, which uses only a few terms of the Hamiltonian and thus significantly reduces the quantum resource for evaluating variance and its gradients.

文摘Nuclear physics, whose underling theory is described by quantum gauge field coupled with matter,is fundamentally important and yet is formidably challenge for simulation with classical computers.Quantum computing provides a perhaps transformative approach for studying and understanding nuclear physics. With rapid scaling-up of quantum processors as well as advances on quantum algorithms, the digital quantum simulation approach for simulating quantum gauge fields and nuclear physics has gained lots of attention. In this review,we aim to summarize recent efforts on solving nuclear physics with quantum computers. We first discuss a formulation of nuclear physics in the language of quantum computing. In particular,we review how quantum gauge fields(both Abelian and non-Abelian)and their coupling to matter field can be mapped and studied on a quantum computer. We then introduce related quantum algorithms for solving static properties and real-time evolution for quantum systems, and show their applications for a broad range of problems in nuclear physics, including simulation of lattice gauge field, solving nucleon and nuclear structures, quantum advantage for simulating scattering in quantum field theory,non-equilibrium dynamics, and so on.Finally,a short outlook on future work is given.
