Based on the engineering background of a soft rock roadway in Qinan Coal Mine 82 Area,Huaibei Mining Group,three creep models with different support patterns in soft rock roadway were established by using geotechnical...Based on the engineering background of a soft rock roadway in Qinan Coal Mine 82 Area,Huaibei Mining Group,three creep models with different support patterns in soft rock roadway were established by using geotechnical software of FLAC2D.According to the calculation results of different models,the change law of mechanical properties with the time of bolt-grouting support structure was obtained.Furthermore,for the test bolt-grouting support roadway,the deformation law of surrounding rock got by underground industrial experiment and field observation accords with the creep law got by numerical calculation.The results of numerical calculation and field observation show that,compared with other supports,the creep of bolt-grouting support roadway enters the steady-state creep stage from tertiary creep stage ahead,the deformations of roof,floor and two sides are decreased greatly,the plastically deforming area in surrounding rock is reduced obviously,and the distribution ranges of maximum and minimum principal stress are shrank obviously.All those fully show that the bolt-grouting support has its remarkable advantages in controlling surrounding rock creep and improving the whole strength of surrounding rock and self-bearing capacity.展开更多

Fatty liver in dairy cows, which is associated with decreased metabolic function of the liver, develops during times of elevated non-esterified fatty acid （NEFA） concentrations in the blood when the hepatic uptake o...Fatty liver in dairy cows, which is associated with decreased metabolic function of the liver, develops during times of elevated non-esterified fatty acid （NEFA） concentrations in the blood when the hepatic uptake of lipids exceeds the oxidation and secretion of lipids by the liver and then it will cause hepatic accumulation of triglyceride （TG）. The condition is often related to decreased health status, well-being, productivity, and reproductive performance of cows. Prevention of fatty liver in the transition period is always better than any treatments. The nutritional preventative strategies mainly focus either on decreasing the supply of NEFA to liver, and it aims to improve liver function or optimize the capacity then to dispose of NEFA by exporting them as triglycerides in lipoproteins （VLDL）. Good dry cow nutritional programs, combined with excellent feeding management to achieve high levels of dry matter intake throughout the transition period should be the first priority for management. Several different compounds can promote these metabolic actions. The addition of glucose precursors such as glycerol, propyelene glycol, or propionate salts to the feed in the transition diet can modify metabolism in a manner to decrease fatty acid mobilization from adipose tissue and reduce the likelihood of liver TG accumulation. Supplying some other specific nutrients to dairy cows during the transition period may increase rates of NEFA disposal, with resulting effects on performance, though the hepatic capacities for export as triglycerides within VLDL are relatively limited in ruminants. Further studies examining nutritional and management strategies are required to develop new preventive or treatment options that are more practical to reduce the occurrence of fatty liver and its adverse metabolic effects.展开更多

Objective: The aim of this study was to assess school indoor exposure to microbial products and prevalence of asthma and allergies in rural and urban children.Methods: This study was carried on a rural and an urban sc...Objective: The aim of this study was to assess school indoor exposure to microbial products and prevalence of asthma and allergies in rural and urban children.Methods: This study was carried on a rural and an urban school.Environmental endotoxin level was measured in multiple samples of the ambient indoor air dust collected on special aseptic filter papers from the two schools.For two hundred children history taking,clinical examination,allergen skin prick test and basic pulmonary function test were preformed.Results: Environmental endotoxin levels showed significantly higher mean values(P<0.01) in rural school(3 EU/mg) as compared to the urban school(0.1 EU/mg) with(OR=5.163;95% CI: 0.95-28).History of allergic symptoms was significantly more in urban than rural students(P=0.01).Mean values of pulmonary function parameters were significantly lower values in urban students compared to rural students.Skin prick test results showed significant reactions to all tested allergens in urban children compared to rural children(P<0.05).Conclusion: There is an inverse association between environmental exposure to endotoxins and susceptibility for allergic manifestations in school children.展开更多
