The effect of salt solutions(NaCl,Na2SO4 and CaCl2) on the conformational properties of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAM) was investigated by using static laser light scattering(SLLS).The special interaction b...The effect of salt solutions(NaCl,Na2SO4 and CaCl2) on the conformational properties of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAM) was investigated by using static laser light scattering(SLLS).The special interaction between CaCl2 solution and HPAM was also researched.Experimental results show that the chain structure of HPAM is interrelated with the charge density,the kind and the concentration of salt solutions.The mean-square radius of gyration(Rz) and the second virial coefficient(A2) of HPAM decrease with increasing concentration of salt solutions,and the salt effect tends towards the maximum when the concentration of salt solution is increased to some amount.展开更多

Based on colorimetric method in the measurement...A new kind of polyacrylamide derivate, hydroximic polyacrylamide (HPAM), was prepared from polyacrylamide (PAM) with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in KOH/alcohol solution. Based on colorimetric method in the measurement of C 7 9 alkyl hydroximic acid, the substitution degree of HPAM was determined by selecting octyl hydroximic acid as a primary standard substance. The effects of temperature, the amount of hydroxylamine and potassium hydroxide, and the reaction time on the reaction are discussed. HPAM with 5.78% substitution of degree was acquired by optimizing the reaction conditions. IR spectra revealed that tautomerism appears in the HPAM, and that HPAM exists in both the forms of hydroxamic type and hydroximic type, and the latter type can easily lead to the forming of intramolecular hydrogen bond.展开更多

It is found that HPAM expresses intensive depression on pyrite and can be used as effective depressants for pyrite. The depression mechanism of HPAM to pyrite was investigated by the determination of contact angle, zeta potential, adsorptive capacity for collectors and infrared spectrum. A lower contact angle, more negative zeta potential, less xanthate adsorptive capacity, and the formation of chemical bonding were determined, which reveals that the strong chemical interactions exist between HPAM and pyrite surface. The hydroxamate groups of HPAM were verified by Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FT-IR). 46%(molar fration) hydroxamate groups and 23%(molar fraction) carbonyl groups on HPAM were determined by conductometric titration combined with Kjeldahl's microanalysis method. The settling performance achieved at different flocculant dosages was investigated with high goethite-containing red mud slurry of simulated Bayer process synthesized in laboratory. It turns out that the settling performance of high goethite-containing red mud was better with HPAM. The average settling rate of red mud in the first 5 min and the turbidity of supernatant after settling for 30 min are 2.36 m/h and 507 NTU, respectively, at a flocculant dosage of 120 g/t, which is similar to that achieved with Hx-600.展开更多

The method of selective flocculation of bauxite using hydrolyzed polyacrylamide as flocculant was experimented and evaluated. The results of diaspore and kaolinite single mineral settling tests show that the difference between settlement yield of kaolinite(settling 15 min) and diaspore(settling 3 min) increases from 16% to 60% by adding flocculant at pH=7. Results of selective flocculation experiment of bauxite show that the higher concentrate grade(65.75) and Al-Si ratio(7.34) could be obtained with sodium carbonate as dispersant compared with sodium hexametaphosphate; under the action of flocculating agent, the concentrate grade and Al-Si ratio increase to 67.99 and 9.01. These results could meet the requirements of Bayer production, and the simpler process was expected to cost far less than traditional flotation method and a promising de-silication method of bauxite.展开更多

提出了一种适用于超短距离(Very Short Reach,VSR)信道、面向112 Gb/s PAM4(Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4)接收机的自适应均衡设计方案。在该方案中,接收机前端利用3个连续时间线性均衡器(Continuous Time Linear Equalizer,CTLE)对信...提出了一种适用于超短距离(Very Short Reach,VSR)信道、面向112 Gb/s PAM4(Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4)接收机的自适应均衡设计方案。在该方案中,接收机前端利用3个连续时间线性均衡器(Continuous Time Linear Equalizer,CTLE)对信号分别在高频、中频和低频进行补偿,可变增益放大器(Variable Gain Amplifier,VGA)和饱和放大器(Saturation Amplifier,SatAmp)则用于对信号幅值的缩放。除了3个数据采样器外,引入4个辅助采样器用于进一步改善阈值自适应算法性能。同时,采用符号最小均方算法,利用接收端数据采样器和辅助采样器之间的偏移推动辅助参考电压收敛到信号星座电平,从而确保PAM4接收信号的眼图在垂直方向上3个眼睛具有相等的间隔和恒定的信噪比(Signal-to-Noise Ratio,SNR)。仿真结果表明,所提出的112 Gb/s PAM4接收机能够在损耗为15 dB的信道上实现小于10~(-12)的误码率,并且具有良好的眼图性能,其最差眼高为75 mV,眼宽为0.34 UI(Unit Interval),与传统方案相比具有显著的性能提升。展开更多
