Hybrid precoder design is a key technique providing better antenna gain and reduced hardware complexity in millimeter-wave(mmWave)massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)systems.In this paper,Gaussian Mixture lear...Hybrid precoder design is a key technique providing better antenna gain and reduced hardware complexity in millimeter-wave(mmWave)massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)systems.In this paper,Gaussian Mixture learned approximate message passing(GM-LAMP)network is presented for the design of optimal hybrid precoders suitable for mmWave Massive MIMO systems.Optimal hybrid precoder designs using a compressive sensing scheme such as orthogonal matching pursuit(OMP)and its derivatives results in high computational complexity when the dimensionality of the sparse signal is high.This drawback can be addressed using classical iterative algorithms such as approximate message passing(AMP),which has comparatively low computational complexity.The drawbacks of AMP algorithm are fixed shrinkage parameter and non-consideration of prior distribution of the hybrid precoders.In this paper,the fixed shrinkage parameter problem of the AMP algorithm is addressed using learned AMP(LAMP)network,and is further enhanced as GMLAMP network using the concept of Gaussian Mixture distribution of the hybrid precoders.The simula-tion results show that the proposed GM-LAMP network achieves optimal hybrid precoder design with enhanced achievable rates,better accuracy and low computational complexity compared to the existing algorithms.展开更多

In particular, burst inte...This paper investigates the fundamental data detection problem with burst interference in massive multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM) systems. In particular, burst interference may occur only on data symbols but not on pilot symbols, which means that interference information cannot be premeasured. To cancel the burst interference, we first revisit the uplink multi-user system and develop a matrixform system model, where the covariance pattern and the low-rank property of the interference matrix is discussed. Then, we propose a turbo message passing based burst interference cancellation(TMP-BIC) algorithm to solve the data detection problem, where the constellation information of target data is fully exploited to refine its estimate. Furthermore, in the TMP-BIC algorithm, we design one module to cope with the interference matrix by exploiting its lowrank property. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively mitigate the adverse effects of burst interference and approach the interference-free bound.展开更多
The low Earth orbit(LEO)satellite networks have outstanding advantages such as wide coverage area and not being limited by geographic environment,which can provide a broader range of communication services and has bec...The low Earth orbit(LEO)satellite networks have outstanding advantages such as wide coverage area and not being limited by geographic environment,which can provide a broader range of communication services and has become an essential supplement to the terrestrial network.However,the dynamic changes and uneven distribution of satellite network traffic inevitably bring challenges to multipath routing.Even worse,the harsh space environment often leads to incomplete collection of network state data for routing decision-making,which further complicates this challenge.To address this problem,this paper proposes a state-incomplete intelligent dynamic multipath routing algorithm(SIDMRA)to maximize network efficiency even with incomplete state data as input.Specifically,we model the multipath routing problem as a markov decision process(MDP)and then combine the deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG)and the K shortest paths(KSP)algorithm to solve the optimal multipath routing policy.We use the temporal correlation of the satellite network state to fit the incomplete state data and then use the message passing neuron network(MPNN)for data enhancement.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms baseline algorithms regarding average end-to-end delay and packet loss rate and performs stably under certain missing rates of state data.展开更多
The aerodynamic performance of high-speed trains passing each other was investigated on a simply supported box girder bridge,with a span of 32 m,under crosswinds.The bridge and train models,modeled at a geometric scal...The aerodynamic performance of high-speed trains passing each other was investigated on a simply supported box girder bridge,with a span of 32 m,under crosswinds.The bridge and train models,modeled at a geometric scale ratio of 1:30,were used to test the aerodynamic forces of the train,with the help of a designed moving test rig in the XNJD-3 wind tunnel.The effects of wind speed,train speed,and yaw angle on the aerodynamic coefficients of the train were analyzed.The static and moving model tests were compared to demonstrate how the movement of the train influences its aerodynamic characteristics.The results show that the sheltering effect introduced by trains passing each other can cause a sudden change in force on the leeward train,which is further influenced by the wind and running speeds.Detailed analyses related to the effect of wind and train speeds on the aerodynamic coefficients were conducted.The relationship between the change in aerodynamic coefficients and yaw angle was finally described by a series of proposed fitting formulas.展开更多
Compressed sensing(CS)aims for seeking appropriate algorithms to recover a sparse vector from noisy linear observations.Currently,various Bayesian-based algorithms such as sparse Bayesian learning(SBL)and approximate ...Compressed sensing(CS)aims for seeking appropriate algorithms to recover a sparse vector from noisy linear observations.Currently,various Bayesian-based algorithms such as sparse Bayesian learning(SBL)and approximate message passing(AMP)based algorithms have been proposed.For SBL,it has accurate performance with robustness while its computational complexity is high due to matrix inversion.For AMP,its performance is guaranteed by the severe restriction of the measurement matrix,which limits its application in solving CS problem.To overcome the drawbacks of the above algorithms,in this paper,we present a low complexity algorithm for the single linear model that incorporates the vector AMP(VAMP)into the SBL structure with expectation maximization(EM).Specifically,we apply the variance auto-tuning into the VAMP to implement the E step in SBL,which decrease the iterations that require to converge compared with VAMP-EM algorithm when using a Gaussian mixture(GM)prior.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance with high robustness under various cases of difficult measurement matrices.展开更多

However, the quality of images may be unsatisfied. This paper considers the problem of recovering sparse signals by exploiting their unknown sparsity pattern. To model structured sparsity, the prior correlation of the support is encoded by imposing a transformed Gaussian process on the spike and slab probabilities. Then, an efficient approximate message-passing algorithm with structured spike and slab prior is derived for posterior inference, which, combined with a fast direct method, reduces the computational complexity significantly. Further, a unified scheme is developed to learn the hyperparameters using expectation maximization(EM) and Bethe free energy optimization. Simulation results on both synthetic and real data demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm.展开更多

Firstly, a train aerodynamic model and a vehicle dynamic model are established. Through the simulation of the two models, the pressure waves, aerodynamic forces, and vehicle dynamic responses are obtained. Then, the pressure waves and aero- dynamic forces on different foundations are compared. The results show that the variation trends of pressure wave and aerodynamic forces of trains passing each other on different foundations are almost similar. The peak-to-peak differ- ences in pressure wave and aerodynamic force are below 4% and 3% in three cases in open air. Besides, the differences of security indexes, including coefficient of derailment, wheel unloading rate, the wheelset lateral force, and the wheel- rail vertical force, are below 2% among the three cases; the differences of comfort indexes, including the lateral acceleration and the vertical acceleration, are also below 2%. It is concluded that the dynamic performances of trains pass- ing each other are influenced little by different foundations in open air.展开更多

AMP exploits the difference between speech and noise sparsity to remove or mute the noise from the corrupted speech. The AMP algorithm is adopted to reconstruct the clean speech efficiently for speech enhancement. More specifically, the prior probability distribution of speech sparsity coefficient is characterized by Gaussian-model, and the hyper-parameters of the prior model are excellently learned by expectation maximization(EM) algorithm. We utilize the k-nearest neighbor(k-NN) algorithm to learn the sparsity with the fact that the speech coefficients between adjacent frames are correlated. Adiabatic response effects on high-frequency flshbone instability driven by passing energetic ions are studied.With flnite orbit width effects,the adiabatic contributionδW_(hf)is derived analytically for purely passi...Adiabatic response effects on high-frequency flshbone instability driven by passing energetic ions are studied.With flnite orbit width effects,the adiabatic contributionδW_(hf)is derived analytically for purely passing energetic ions.By approximating the adiabatic contribution to the flrst order of the reverse aspect ratioε,we derive one of its analytic expressions,which is expected to be more accurate than that in a previous work(Graves J P 2004 Phys.Rev.Lett.92185003).For high-frequency flshbone instability,nonadiabatic response is usually dominant over adiabatic response,but under certain circumstances the latter plays an important role,comparable to the former.With a more generalized distribution function by introducing Gaussian-type factors representing their pitch and radial dependences and using a slowing-down equilibrium distribution for the energy of energetic ions,numerical analysis indicates that the adiabatic contribution is conducive to stabilization of the mode and causes a decrease in mode frequency.In addition,we flnd that the adiabatic contribution has a weak stabilizing effect on the flshbone instability when the flnite orbit width effect is taken into account.We further analyze the dependence of the adiabatic contribution on the characteristic parameters of the distribution function.When the neutral beam has either a larger deviation from the plasma axis or a larger radial proflle,the adiabatic contribution has a more evident effect on the flshbone instability.When the neutral beam has a relatively small critical energy,the adiabatic contribution has a greater effect on the mode instability.展开更多
High-order harmonics q(ψ_(s))=1 energetic particle modes(EPMs)have been observed in toroidal plasmas experiments with neutral beam injection.To investigate these phenomena,linear properties and nonlinear dynamics of ...High-order harmonics q(ψ_(s))=1 energetic particle modes(EPMs)have been observed in toroidal plasmas experiments with neutral beam injection.To investigate these phenomena,linear properties and nonlinear dynamics of these EPMs driven by passing energetic particles(EPs)are studied via the global hybrid kinetic-magnetohydrodynamic code M3D-K.Simulation results demonstrate that passing EPs'effects on high mode-number harmonics(q(ψ_(s))=m/n=2/2,3/3,4/4)instability are more obvious than the q(ψ_(s))=1/1 mode,especially when q-profile is sufficiently flat in the core region.Furthermore,the effects of the pitch angleΛ_0 and beam ion pressure P_(hot)/P_(total)on the features of high n components are also analyzed specifically.It is found that there exists only one resonant condition for these EPMs.In the nonlinear phase,these high mode-number harmonics can induce significant energetic ions redistribution and chirping up phenomena,which differs from the classical fishbone excited by passing EPs.These discoveries are conducive to better apprehend the underlying physical mechanisms of the highorder harmonics driven by passing EPs.展开更多

Investigations into the aerodynamic properties of vertical sound barriers exposed to high-speed operations employ computational fluid dynamics.The primary focus of this research is to evaluate the influence of train s...Investigations into the aerodynamic properties of vertical sound barriers exposed to high-speed operations employ computational fluid dynamics.The primary focus of this research is to evaluate the influence of train speed and the distance(D)from the track centerline under various operating conditions.The findings elucidate a marked elevation in the aerodynamic effect amplitude on sound barriers as train speeds increase.In single-train passages,the aerodynamic effect amplitude manifests a direct relationship with the square of the train speed.When two trains pass each other,the aerodynamic amplitude intensifies due to an additional aerodynamic increment on the sound barrier.This increment exhibits an approximate quadratic correlation with the retrograde train speed.Notably,the impact of high-speed trains on sound barrier aerodynamics surpasses that of low-speed trains,and this discrepancy amplifies with larger speed differentials between trains.Moreover,the train-induced aerodynamic effect diminishes significantly with greater distance(D),with occurrences of pressure coefficient(CP)exceeding the standard thresholds during dual-train passages.This study culminates in the formulation of universal equations for quantifying the influence of train speed and distance(D)on sound barrier aerodynamic characteristics across various operational scenarios.展开更多

文摘Adiabatic response effects on high-frequency flshbone instability driven by passing energetic ions are studied.With flnite orbit width effects,the adiabatic contributionδW_(hf)is derived analytically for purely passing energetic ions.By approximating the adiabatic contribution to the flrst order of the reverse aspect ratioε,we derive one of its analytic expressions,which is expected to be more accurate than that in a previous work(Graves J P 2004 Phys.Rev.Lett.92185003).For high-frequency flshbone instability,nonadiabatic response is usually dominant over adiabatic response,but under certain circumstances the latter plays an important role,comparable to the former.With a more generalized distribution function by introducing Gaussian-type factors representing their pitch and radial dependences and using a slowing-down equilibrium distribution for the energy of energetic ions,numerical analysis indicates that the adiabatic contribution is conducive to stabilization of the mode and causes a decrease in mode frequency.In addition,we flnd that the adiabatic contribution has a weak stabilizing effect on the flshbone instability when the flnite orbit width effect is taken into account.We further analyze the dependence of the adiabatic contribution on the characteristic parameters of the distribution function.When the neutral beam has either a larger deviation from the plasma axis or a larger radial proflle,the adiabatic contribution has a more evident effect on the flshbone instability.When the neutral beam has a relatively small critical energy,the adiabatic contribution has a greater effect on the mode instability.

文摘High-order harmonics q(ψ_(s))=1 energetic particle modes(EPMs)have been observed in toroidal plasmas experiments with neutral beam injection.To investigate these phenomena,linear properties and nonlinear dynamics of these EPMs driven by passing energetic particles(EPs)are studied via the global hybrid kinetic-magnetohydrodynamic code M3D-K.Simulation results demonstrate that passing EPs'effects on high mode-number harmonics(q(ψ_(s))=m/n=2/2,3/3,4/4)instability are more obvious than the q(ψ_(s))=1/1 mode,especially when q-profile is sufficiently flat in the core region.Furthermore,the effects of the pitch angleΛ_0 and beam ion pressure P_(hot)/P_(total)on the features of high n components are also analyzed specifically.It is found that there exists only one resonant condition for these EPMs.In the nonlinear phase,these high mode-number harmonics can induce significant energetic ions redistribution and chirping up phenomena,which differs from the classical fishbone excited by passing EPs.These discoveries are conducive to better apprehend the underlying physical mechanisms of the highorder harmonics driven by passing EPs.

文摘The orthogonal time frequency space(OTFS)modulation has emerged as a promis⁃ing modulation scheme for wireless communications in high-mobility scenarios.An efficient detector is of paramount importance to harvesting the time and frequency diversities promised by OTFS.Recently,some message passing based detectors have been developed by exploiting the features of the OTFS channel matrices.In this paper,we provide an overview of some re⁃cent message passing based OTFS detectors,compare their performance,and shed some light on potential research on the design of message passing based OTFS receivers.
文摘This article aims at comparing and contrasting the passing experience of Clare in Larsen Nella’s Quicksand and Passing and Birdie in Danzy Senna's Caucasia.These two characters both have light skin and look white.They both try to pass to the privileged identity(White for Clare;Black for Birdie)and they suffer and struggle on the edge of the color line.The author believes that these two characters are victims of the society divided by race.For people with biracial identity,their experience of having to adopt the privileged identity and giving up who they really are can be extremely painful.

First this paper gives a brief introduction to Jung`s concept of individuation, then it analyses the archetypes: shadow, anima/animus, and persona of the individual respectively so that it shows that the individual has been through the process of individuation and finds her real self at last.

文摘Investigations into the aerodynamic properties of vertical sound barriers exposed to high-speed operations employ computational fluid dynamics.The primary focus of this research is to evaluate the influence of train speed and the distance(D)from the track centerline under various operating conditions.The findings elucidate a marked elevation in the aerodynamic effect amplitude on sound barriers as train speeds increase.In single-train passages,the aerodynamic effect amplitude manifests a direct relationship with the square of the train speed.When two trains pass each other,the aerodynamic amplitude intensifies due to an additional aerodynamic increment on the sound barrier.This increment exhibits an approximate quadratic correlation with the retrograde train speed.Notably,the impact of high-speed trains on sound barrier aerodynamics surpasses that of low-speed trains,and this discrepancy amplifies with larger speed differentials between trains.Moreover,the train-induced aerodynamic effect diminishes significantly with greater distance(D),with occurrences of pressure coefficient(CP)exceeding the standard thresholds during dual-train passages.This study culminates in the formulation of universal equations for quantifying the influence of train speed and distance(D)on sound barrier aerodynamic characteristics across various operational scenarios.
