In order to accurately forecast the main engine fuel consumption and reduce the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator(EEOI)of merchant ships in polar ice areas,the energy transfer relationship between ship-machine-propeller is studied by analyzing the complex force situation during ship navigation and building a MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform based on multi-environmental resistance,propeller efficiency,main engine power,fuel consumption,fuel consumption rate and EEOI calculation module.Considering the environmental factors of wind,wave and ice,the route is divided into sections,the calculation of main engine power,main engine fuel consumption and EEOI for each section is completed,and the speed design is optimized based on the simulation model for each section.Under the requirements of the voyage plan,the optimization results show that the energy efficiency operation index of the whole route is reduced by 3.114%and the fuel consumption is reduced by 9.17 t. 展开更多

The performance of the satellite autonomous computer operating system acting as the control center is utmost important. The recent trend in operating system development is adopting microkernel architecture which holds such advantages as microminiaturization, modularity, portability and extendibility. The performance of I/O subsystem is currently receiving considerable research attention. Object-orientation offers an approach to application development in which software system can be constructed by composing and refining the pre-designed plug-compatible software components.It also starts with some basic notions fairly well accepted in computer science, namely encapsulation and reuse. In this paper, a new object-oriented real-time I/O subsystem model has been designed.In this model, the traditional I/O subsystem framework is discarded and a stream mechanism based on the object-oriented concept is introduced. In addition, the I/O requests are classified according to their time emergency to obtain real-time performance. Optimal selection of tests for fault detection and isolation in multi-operating mode system 被引量:3

The complex systems are often in the structure of multi-operating modes, and the components implementing system functions are different under different operation modes, which results in the problems that components often fail in different operating modes, faults can be only detected in specified operating modes, tests can be available in specified operating modes,and the cost and efficiency of detecting and isolating faults are different under different operating modes and isolation levels. Aiming at these problems, an optimal test selection method for fault detection and isolation in the multi-operating mode system is proposed by using the fault pair coding and rollout algorithm. Firstly,the faults in fault-test correlation matrices under different operating modes are combined to fault-pairs, which is used to construct the fault pair-test correlation matrices under different operating modes.Secondly, the final fault pair-test correlation matrix of the multioperating mode system is obtained by operating the fault pair-test correlation matrices under different operating modes. Based on the final fault pair-test correlation matrix, the necessary tests are selected by the rollout algorithm orderly. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by examples of the optimal test selection in the multi-operating mode system with faults isolated to different levels. The result shows that the proposed method can effectively mine the fault detection and isolation ability of tests and it is suitable for the optimal test selection of the multi-operating mode system with faults isolated to the replacement unit and specific fault. 展开更多

Discrete event system(DES)models promote system engineering,including system design,verification,and assessment.The advancement in manufacturing technology has endowed us to fabricate complex industrial systems.Consequently,the adoption of advanced modeling methodologies adept at handling complexity and scalability is imperative.Moreover,industrial systems are no longer quiescent,thus the intelligent operations of the systems should be dynamically specified in the model.In this paper,the composition of the subsystem behaviors is studied to generate the complexity and scalability of the global system model,and a Boolean semantic specifying algorithm is proposed for generating dynamic intelligent operations in the model.In traditional modeling approaches,the change or addition of specifications always necessitates the complete resubmission of the system model,a resource-consuming and error-prone process.Compared with traditional approaches,our approach has three remarkable advantages:(i)an established Boolean semantic can be fitful for all kinds of systems;(ii)there is no need to resubmit the system model whenever there is a change or addition of the operations;(iii)multiple specifying tasks can be easily achieved by continuously adding a new semantic.Thus,this general modeling approach has wide potential for future complex and intelligent industrial systems. 展开更多

The cross-domain capabilities of aerial-aquatic vehicles(AAVs)hold significant potential for future airsea integrated combat operations.However,the failure rate of AAVs is higher than that of unmanned systems operating in a single medium.To ensure the reliable and stable completion of tasks by AAVs,this paper proposes a tiltable quadcopter AAV to mitigate the potential issue of rotor failure,which can lead to high-speed spinning or damage during cross-media transitions.Experimental validation demonstrates that this tiltable quadcopter AAV can transform into a dual-rotor or triple-rotor configuration after losing one or two rotors,allowing it to perform cross-domain movements with enhanced stability and maintain task completion.This enhancement significantly improves its fault tolerance and task reliability. 展开更多

Dual-ion batteries(DIBs)usually use carbon-based materials as electrodes,showing advantages in high operating volt-age,potential low cost,and environmental friendliness.Different from conventional“rocking chair”type secondary batter-ies,DIBs perform a unique working mechanism,which employ both cation and anion taking part in capacity contribution at an anode and a cathode,respectively,during electrochemical reactions.Graphite has been identified as a suitable cathode material for anion intercalation at high voltages(>4.8 V)with fast reaction kinetics.However,the development of DIBs is being hindered by dynamic mismatch between a cathode and an anode due to sluggish Li+diffusion at a high rate.Herein,we prepared phyllostachys edulis derived carbon(PEC)through microstructure regulation strategy and investigated the carbonized temperature effect,which effectively tailored the rich short-range ordered graphite microdomains and disor-dered amorphous regions,as well as a unique nano-pore hierarchical structure.The pore size distribution of nano-pores was concentrated in 0.5-5 nm,providing suitable channels for rapid Li+transportation.It was found that PEC-500(carbon-ized at 500℃)achieved a high capacity of 436 mAh·g^(-1)at 300 mA·g^(-1)and excellent rate performance(maintaining a high capacity of 231 mAh·g^(-1)at 3 A·g^(-1)).The assembled dual-carbon PEC-500||graphite full battery delivered 114 mAh·g^(-1)at 10 C with 96%capacity retention after 3000 cycles and outstanding rate capability,providing 74 mAh·g^(-1)at 50 C. 展开更多

Prototype for logging system calls and its overhead analysis

In the design, the guest operating system runs on the virtual machine monitor as non-privileged mode. The redirecting and monitoring modules are added into the virtual machine monitor. When a guest application is calling a system call, it is trapped and redirected from the least privileged level into the virtual machine monitor running in the most privileged level. After logging is finished. it returns to the guest operating system running in the more privileged level and starts the system call. Compared with the traditional methods for logging system activities, the novel method makes it more difficult to destroy or tamper the logs. The preliminary evaluation shows that the prototype is simple and efficient. 展开更多

A novel reconfigurable hardware system which uses both muhi-DSP and FPGA to attain high performance and real-time image processing are presented. The system structure and working principle of mainly processing multi-BSP board, extended multi-DSP board are analysed. The outstanding advantage is that the communication among different board components of this system is supported by high speed link ports & serial ports for increasing the system performance and computational power. Then the implementation of embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS) by us is discussed in detail. In this system, we adopt two kinds of parallel structures controlled by RTOS for parallel processing of algorithms. The experimental results show that exploitive period of the system is short, and maintenance convenient. Thus it is suitable for real-time image processing and can get satisfactory effect of image recognition. 展开更多

A dependency matrix processing algorithm to prioritize high incidence faults

The operational readiness test(ORT),like weapon testing before firing,is becoming more and more important for systems used in the field.However,the test requirement of the ORT is distinctive.Specifically,the rule of selecting test items should be changed in different test turns,and whether there is a fault is more important than where the fault is.The popular dependency matrix(D-matrix)processing algorithms becomes low efficient because they cannot change their optimizing direc-tion and spend unnecessary time on fault localization and isola-tion.To this end,this paper proposes a D-matrix processing algorithm named piecewise heuristic algorithm for D-matrix(PHAD).Its key idea is to use a piecewise function comprised of multiple different functions instead of the commonly used fixed function and switch subfunctions according to the test stage.In this manner,PHAD has the capability of changing optimizing direction,precisely matching the variant test requirements,and generating an efficient test sequence.The experiments on the random matrixes of different sizes and densities prove that the proposed algorithm performs better than the classical algo-rithms in terms of expected test cost(ETC)and other metrics.More generally,the piecewise heuristic function shows a new way to design D-matrix processing algorithm and a more flexi-ble heuristic function to meet more complicated test requirements. 展开更多

Irregularities in the track and uneven forces acting on the train can cause shifts in the position of the superconducting magnetic levitation train relative to the track during operation.These shifts lead to asymmetries in the flow field structure on both sides of the narrow suspension gap,resulting in instability and deterioration of the train’s aerodynamic characteristics,significantly impacting its operational safety.In this study,we firstly validate the aerodynamic characteristics of the superconducting magnetic levitation system by developing a numerical simulation method based on wind tunnel test results.We then investigate the influence of lateral translation parameters on the train’s aerodynamic performance under conditions both with and without crosswinds.We aim to clarify the evolution mechanism of the flow field characteristics under the coupling effect between the train and the U-shaped track and to identify the most unfavorable operational parameters contributing to the deterioration of the train’s aerodynamic properties.The findings show that,without crosswinds,a lateral translation of 30 mm causes a synchronous resonance phenomenon at the side and bottom gaps of the train-track coupling,leading to the worst aerodynamic performance.Under crosswind conditions,a lateral translation of 40 mm maximizes peak pressure fluctuations and average turbulent kinetic energy around the train,resulting in the poorest aerodynamic performance.This research provides theoretical support for enhancing the operational stability of superconducting magnetic levitation trains. 展开更多

To extract and display the significant information of combat systems,this paper introduces the methodology of functional cartography into combat networks and proposes an integrated framework named“functional cartography of heterogeneous combat networks based on the operational chain”(FCBOC).In this framework,a functional module detection algorithm named operational chain-based label propagation algorithm(OCLPA),which considers the cooperation and interactions among combat entities and can thus naturally tackle network heterogeneity,is proposed to identify the functional modules of the network.Then,the nodes and their modules are classified into different roles according to their properties.A case study shows that FCBOC can provide a simplified description of disorderly information of combat networks and enable us to identify their functional and structural network characteristics.The results provide useful information to help commanders make precise and accurate decisions regarding the protection,disintegration or optimization of combat networks.Three algorithms are also compared with OCLPA to show that FCBOC can most effectively find functional modules with practical meaning. 展开更多

The learning algorithms of causal discovery mainly include score-based methods and genetic algorithms(GA).The score-based algorithms are prone to searching space explosion.Classical GA is slow to converge,and prone to falling into local optima.To address these issues,an improved GA with domain knowledge(IGADK)is proposed.Firstly,domain knowledge is incorporated into the learning process of causality to construct a new fitness function.Secondly,a dynamical mutation operator is introduced in the algorithm to accelerate the convergence rate.Finally,an experiment is conducted on simulation data,which compares the classical GA with IGADK with domain knowledge of varying accuracy.The IGADK can greatly reduce the number of iterations,populations,and samples required for learning,which illustrates the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

The multi-target assignment(MTA)problem,a crucial challenge in command control,mission planning,and a fundamental research focus in military operations,has garnered significant attention over the years.Extensively studied across various domains such as land,sea,air,space,and electronics,the MTA problem has led to the emergence of numerous models and algorithms.To delve deeper into this field,this paper starts by conducting a bibliometric analysis on 463 Scopus database papers using CiteSpace software.The analysis includes examining keyword clustering,co-occurrence,and burst,with visual representations of the results.Following this,the paper provides an overview of current classification and modeling techniques for addressing the MTA problem,distinguishing between static multi-target assignment(SMTA)and dynamic multi-target assignment(DMTA).Subsequently,existing solution algorithms for the MTA problem are reviewed,generally falling into three categories:exact algorithms,heuristic algorithms,and machine learning algorithms.Finally,a development framework is proposed based on the"HIGH"model(high-speed,integrated,great,harmonious)to guide future research and intelligent weapon system development concerning the MTA problem.This framework emphasizes application scenarios,modeling mechanisms,solution algorithms,and system efficiency to offer a roadmap for future exploration in this area. 展开更多

Piezo actuators are widely used in ultra-precision fields because of their high response and nano-scale step length.However,their hysteresis characteristics seriously affect the accuracy and stability of piezo actuators.Existing methods for fitting hysteresis loops include operator class,differential equation class,and machine learning class.The modeling cost of operator class and differential equation class methods is high,the model complexity is high,and the process of machine learning,such as neural network calculation,is opaque.The physical model framework cannot be directly extracted.Therefore,the sparse identification of nonlinear dynamics(SINDy)algorithm is proposed to fit hysteresis loops.Furthermore,the SINDy algorithm is improved.While the SINDy algorithm builds an orthogonal candidate database for modeling,the sparse regression model is simplified,and the Relay operator is introduced for piecewise fitting to solve the distortion problem of the SINDy algorithm fitting singularities.The Relay-SINDy algorithm proposed in this paper is applied to fitting hysteresis loops.Good performance is obtained with the experimental results of open and closed loops.Compared with the existing methods,the modeling cost and model complexity are reduced,and the modeling accuracy of the hysteresis loop is improved. 展开更多

In this paper,a novel train positioning method considering satellite raw observation data was proposed,which aims to promote train positioning performance from an innovative perspective of the train satellite-based positioning error sources.The method focused on overcoming the abnormal observations in satellite observation data caused by railway environment rather than the positioning results.Specifically,the relative positioning experimental platform was built and the zero-baseline method was firstly employed to evaluate the carrier phase data quality,and then,GNSS combined observation models were adopted to construct the detection values,which were applied to judge abnormal-data through the dual-frequency observations.Further,ambiguity fixing optimization was investigated based on observation data selection in partly-blocked environments.The results show that the proposed method can effectively detect and address abnormal observations and improve positioning stability.Cycle slips and gross errors can be detected and identified based on dual-frequency global navigation satellite system data.After adopting the data selection strategy,the ambiguity fixing percentage was improved by 29.2%,and the standard deviation in the East,North,and Up components was enhanced by 12.7%,7.4%,and 12.5%,respectively.The proposed method can provide references for train positioning performance optimization in railway environments from the perspective of positioning error sources. 展开更多
