In this paper, we extend the application of probabilistic model checking to the vehicle to vehicle(V2V) networks. We first develop a continuous-time Markov chain(CTMC) model for the considered V2V network, after that, the PRISM language is adopted to describe the CTMC model, and continuous-time stochastic logic is used to describe the objective survivability properties. In the analysis, two typical failures are considered, namely the node failure and the link failure, respectively induced by external malicious attacks on a target V2V node, and interrupt in a communication link. Considering these failures, their impacts on the network survivability are demonstrated. It is shown that with increasing failure strength, the network survivability is reduced. On the other hand, the network survivability can be improved with increasing repair rate. The proposed probabilistic model checking-based approach can be effectively used in survivability analysis for the V2V networks, moreover, it is anticipated that the approach can be conveniently extended to other networks.展开更多

The model is analyzed by considering the effects of external as well as internal influences and other demographic processes such as emigration, intrinsic growth rate, death rate, etc. The asymptotical stability of the various equilibria is investigated. By analyzing the exponential characteristic equation with delay-dependent coefficients obtained through the variational matrix, it is found that Hopf bifurcation occurs when the evaluation period (time delay, T) passes through a critical value. Applying the normal form theory and the center manifold argument, we de- rive the explicit formulas determining the properties of the bifurcating periodic solutions. Appropriate modeling of the riser-soil resistance in the touchdown zone can lead to significant cost reduction by optimizing design. This paper presents a plasticity model that can be applied to numerically simulate riser-soil interaction and evaluate dynamic responses and the fatigue damage of a steel catenary riser in the touchdown zone. Utilizing the model, numerous riser-soil elements are attached to the steel catenary riser finite elements, in which each simulates local foundation restraint along the riser touchdown zone. The riser-soil interaction plasticity model accounts for the behavior within an allowable combined loading surface. The model will be represented in this paper, allowing simple numerical implementation. More importantly, it can be incorporated within the structural analysis of a steel catenary riser with the finite element method. The applicability of the model is interpreted theoretically and the results are shown through application to an offshore 8.625 steel catenary riser example. The fatigue analysis results of the liner elastic riser-soil model are also shown. According to the comparison results of the two models, the fatigue life analysis results of the plasticity framework are reasonable and the horizontal effects of the riser-soil interaction can be included.展开更多

The results showed that the peak strength strain was independent of the hardening ductility parameter DH,but affected by AH,BH,and CH. The softening ductility was mainly related to the softening ductility parameter AS,but not affected by the damage ductility exponent BS. In case that the model with default parameters failed to match the AS-controlled damage softening phase,an optimized model with an AS correction was developed. The corrected model with the AS value of 2 matched well with the code model, and exhibited good feasibility in predicting the stress-strain curve of different grades of concrete. Moreover, the practicability of the corrected model was further validated by the conventional triaxial test. The simulated curve exhibited favorable consistence with the trial curve. Therefore, the model with parameter correction could provide a prospective reference for predicting the mechanical properties of concrete.展开更多

文摘The inflection point is an important feature of sigmoidal height-diameter(H-D)models.It is often cited as one of the properties favoring sigmoidal model forms. However, there are very few studies analyzing the inflection points of H-D models. The goals of this study were to theoretically and empirically examine the behaviors of inflection points of six common H-D models with a regional dataset. The six models were the Wykoff(WYK),Schumacher(SCH),Curtis(CUR),HossfeldⅣ(HOS),von Bertalanffy-Richards(VBR),and Gompertz(GPZ)models. The models were first fitted in their base forms with tree species as random effects and were then expanded to include functional traits and spatial distribution. The distributions of the estimated inflection points were similar between the two-parameter models WYK,SCH,and CUR,but were different between the threeparameter models HOS,VBR,and GPZ.GPZ produced some of the largest inflection points.HOS and VBR produced concave H-D curves without inflection points for 12.7%and 39.7%of the tree species.Evergreen species or decreasing shade tolerance resulted in larger inflection points. The trends in the estimated inflection points of HOS and VBR were entirely opposite across the landscape.Furthermore,HOS could produce concave H-D curves for portions of the landscape.Based on the studied behaviors, the choice between two-parameter models may not matter. We recommend comparing seve ral three-parameter model forms for consistency in estimated inflection points before deciding on one.Believing sigmoidal models to have inflection points does not necessarily mean that they will produce fitted curves with one.Our study highlights the need to integrate analysis of inflection points into modeling H-D relationships.

In the analysis, two typical failures are considered, namely the node failure and the link failure, respectively induced by external malicious attacks on a target V2V node, and interrupt in a communication link. 文摘To control the vibration level of ships under construction,MSC Software’s Patran&Nastran modeling solutions can be used to establish a detailed finite element model of a new manned submersible support mother ship based on a line drawing, including the deck layout, bulkhead section, and stiffener distribution. After a comprehensive analysis of the ship simulation conditions, boundaries, and excitation forces of the main operating equipment, modal analysis and calculation of the ship vibration can be conducted. In this study,we calculated and analyzed the vibration response of key points in the stern area of the ship’s main deck and the submersible warehouse area under design loading working conditions. We then analyzed the vibration response of typical decks(including the compass deck, steering deck, captain’s deck, forecastle deck, and main deck)under the main excitation forces and moments(such as the full swing pod and generator sets). The analysis results showed that under DESIDEP working conditions, the vibration of each deck and key areas of the support mother ship could meet the vibration code requirements of the ship’s preliminary design(using the pod excitation and generator sets).Similarly, the vibration response of a scientific research ship under other loading conditions also met the requirements of the code and provided data support for a comprehensive understanding of the ship’s vibration and noise levels.Using actual vibration measurements, the accuracy of the vibration level simulations using finite element modeling was verified, the vibration of each area of the ship comfortably meeting the requirements of the China Classification Society.
文摘Reservoir performance prediction is one of the main steps during a field development plan.Due to the complexity and time-consuming aspects of numerical simulators,it is helpful to develop analytical tools for a rapid primary analysis. The capacitance-resistance model(CRM)is a simple technique for reservoir management and optimization. This method is an advanced time-dependent material balance equation which is combined with a productivity equation.CRM uses production/injection data and bottom-hole pressure as inputs to build a reliable model, which is then combined with the oil-cut model and converted to a predictive tool.CRM has been studied thoroughly for water flooding projects. In this study,a modified model for gas flooding systems based on gas density and average reservoir pressure is developed.A detailed procedure is described in a synthetic reservoir model using a genetic algorithm. Then,a streamline simulation is implemented for validation of the results. The results show that the proposed model is able to calculate interwell connectivity parameters and oil production rates. Moreover,a sensitivity analysis is carried out to investigate effects of drawdown pressure and gas PVT properties on the new model. Finally, acceptable ranges of input data and limitations of the model are comprehensively discussed.
文摘Accurate and reliable predictions of pest species distributions in forest ecosystems are urgently needed by forest managers to develop management plans and monitor new areas of potential establishment.Presence-only species distribution models are commonly used in these evaluations. The maximum entropy algorithm(MaxEnt)has gained popularity for modelling species distribution. Here,MaxEnt was used to model the spatial distribution of the Mexican pine bark beetle(Dendroctonus mexicanus)in a daily fashion by using forecast data from the Weather Research and Forecasting model. This study aimed to exploit freely available geographic and environmental data and software and thus provide a pathway to overcome the lack of costly data and technical guidance that are a challenge to implementing national monitoring and management strategies in developing countries. Our results showed overall agreement values between 60 and 87%.The results of this research can be used for D.mexicanus monitoring and management and may aid as a model to monitor similar species.
文摘The application of ti me-series modeling and forecasting method to the spectral analysis for lubricat ing oil of mechanical equipment is discussed. The AR model is used to perform a time-series modeling and forecasting analysis for the spectral analysis data co llected from aero-engines. In the oil condition monitoring field of mechanical equipment, the use of the method of time-series analysis has rarely been report ed. As indicated in the satisfactory example, a practical method for condition m onitoring and fault forecasting of mechanical equipment has been achieved.
文摘The most critical issue in the steel catenary riser design is to evaluate the fatigue damage in the touchdown zone accurately. According to the comparison results of the two models, the fatigue life analysis results of the plasticity framework are reasonable and the horizontal effects of the riser-soil interaction can be included.

文摘In order to understand the effect of hardening ductility parameters and softening ductility parameters of the concrete damage plastic model in LS-DYNA,a sensitivity and reliability analysis of these parameters through a convenient cube unit test was conducted. Therefore, the model with parameter correction could provide a prospective reference for predicting the mechanical properties of concrete.

文摘The global view of firewall policy conflict is important for administrators to optimize the policy. It has been lack of appropriate firewall policy global conflict analysis, existing methods focus on local conflict detection. We research the global conflict detection algorithm in this paper. We presented a semantic model that captures more complete classifications of the policy using knowledge concept in rough set.Based on this model,we presented the global conflict formal model, and represent it with OBDD(Ordered Binary Decision Diagram). Then we developed GFPCDA(Global Firewall Policy Conflict Detection Algorithm) algorithm to detect global conflict. In experiment,we evaluated the usability of our semantic model by eliminating the false positives and false negatives caused by incomplete policy semantic model,of a classical algorithm. We compared this algorithm with GFPCDA algorithm. The results show that GFPCDA detects conflicts more precisely and independently, and has better performance.
