To guide the illuminating design to improve the on-state performances of gallium arsenide(GaAs)photoconductive semiconductor switch(PCSS),the effect of spot size on the operation mode of GaAsPCSS based on a semi-insulating wafer with a thickness of 1 mm,triggered by a 1064-nm extrinsic laser beam with the rectangular spot,has been investigated experimentally.It is found that the variation of the spot size in length and width can act on the different parts of the output waveform integrating the characteristics of the linear and nonlinear modes,and then significantly boosts the PCSS toward different operation modes.On this basis,a two-channel model containing the active and passive parts is introduced to interpret the relevant influencing mechanisms.Results indicate that the increased spot length can peak the amplitude of static domains in the active part to enhance the development of the nonlinear switching,while the extended spot width can change the distribution of photogenerated carriers on both parts to facilitate the linear switching and weaken the nonlinear switching,which have been proved by comparing the domain evolutions under different spot sizes. 展开更多

This article first presents an analysis of the necessity and superiority of such mode, then explains its meaning and analyzes the working routes. Finally, it proposes the business modes as follows: low price pumping water electricity plus nuclear power in the near term;nuclear power shifted to pumped storage power participating in market competition in the middle term;and, in the long term, nuclear power shifted to pumped storage power as primary and serving as an electric power system when needed. 展开更多

In this paper, stable single-mode operation at high temperatures is produced by the surface-relief-integrated vertical cavity surface emitting laser(VCSEL). The gain-cavity mode detuning technique is employed to realize high operating temperatures for the VCSEL. The surface relief is etched in the centre of the top side as a mode discriminator for the fundamental mode output, and the threshold current minimum is 1.94 mA at high temperatures by the gain-cavity mode detuning technique. Maximum single-fundamental-mode output power of 0.45 mW at 80℃ is obtained, and the side mode suppression ratios(SMSRs) are more than 30 dB with increasing temperature and current, respectively. 展开更多

We report on the design and fabrication of λ-7.2μm distributed feedback quantum cascade lasers lot very high temperature cw operation and low electrical power consumption. The cw operation is reported above 90℃. For a 2-mm-long and 10-μm-wide laser coated with high-reflectivity on the rear facet, more than 170mW of output power is obtained at 20℃ with a threshold power consumption of 2.4 W, corresponding to 30mW with a threshold power consumption of 3.9 W at 90℃. Robust single-mode emission with a side-mode suppression ratio above 25 dB is continuously tunable by the heat sink temperature or injection current. 展开更多

The discharge operation regime of pulse modulated atmospheric radio frequency (RF) glow discharge in helium is investigated on the duty cycle and frequency of modulation pulses. The characteristics of radio frequency discharge burst in terms of breakdown voltage, alpha(s)- gamma(γ) mode transition voltage and current are demonstrated by the discharge current voltage characteristics. The minimum breakdown voltage of RF discharge burst was obtained at the duty cycle of 20% and frequency of 400 kHz, respectively. The α-γ mode transition of RF discharge burst occurs at higher voltage and current by reducing the duty cycle and elevating the modulation frequency before the RF discharge burst evolving into the ignition phase, in which the RF discharge burst can operate stably in the γ mode. It proposes that the intensity and stability of RF discharge burst can be improved by manipulating the duty cycle and modulation frequency in pulse modulated atmospheric RF glow discharge. 展开更多

The identification result of operational mode is eurychoric while operational mode identification is investigated under ambient excitation,which is influenced by the signal size and the time interval.The operational mode identification method,which is based on the sliding time window method and the eigensystem realization algorithm(ERA),is investigated to improve the identification accuracy and stability.Firstly,the theory of the ERA method is introduced.Secondly,the strategy for decomposition and implementation is put forward,including the sliding time window method and the filtration method of modes.At last,an example is studied,where the model of a cantilever beam is built and the white noise exciting is input.Results show that the operational mode identification method can realize the modes,and has high robustness to the signal to noise ratio and signal size. 展开更多

针对工况传递路径分析(operational transfer path analysis,OTPA)测得振动信号存在大量高频噪声的问题,提出一种基于变分模态分解(variational mode decomposition,VMD)和奇异值分解(singular value decomposition,SVD)的组合降噪方法V... 针对工况传递路径分析(operational transfer path analysis,OTPA)测得振动信号存在大量高频噪声的问题,提出一种基于变分模态分解(variational mode decomposition,VMD)和奇异值分解(singular value decomposition,SVD)的组合降噪方法VMD-SVD。该方法通过VMD算法对原始含噪信号进行分解,得到K个本征模态分量(intrinsic mode function,IMF);再通过方差贡献率(VCR)滤除含噪信号较大的IMF分量,并保留有效成分较多的IMF分量,经SVD算法对保留的IMF分量进行降噪处理;最后将降噪处理后的信号进行重构,得到本文组合降噪处理后的信号。本文通过模拟仿真实验验证上述方法的降噪效果,并将该方法运用到OTPA采集振动信号中。与其他基本降噪方法进行对比的结果表明,该方法能够有效滤除采集振动信号中的高频噪声,提高了OTPA方法的准确度以及信号后续分析处理的可靠性。 展开更多

However, in this work we find that after using the technique of integration within Ω-ordering and β-ordering, we can detach two single-mode squeezing operators from the two-mode squeezing operator. In other words, we show that the two-mode squeezing operator can be split into a β-ordered two-mode squeezing operator (with a new squeezing parameter) and two single-mode squeezing operators (with another squeezing parameter). This tells us that the two-mode squeezing mechanism also involves some single-mode squeezing. 展开更多

We find that the photon statistical properties are sensitive to the compound phase involved in the TMSCS. Our numerical analyses show that the photon addition can enhance the cross-correlation and anti-bunching effects of the PA- TMSCS. Compared with that of the TMSCS, the photon number distribution of the PA-TMSCS is modulated by a factor that is a monotonically increasing function of the numbers of adding photons to each mode; further, that the photon addition essentially shifts the photon number distribution. 展开更多

We consider the quantum mechanical SU(2) transformation e^2λJzJ±e^-2λJz = e^±2λJ±as if the meaning of squeezing with e^±2λ being squeezing parameter. By studying SU(2) operators (J±, Jz) from the point of view of squeezing we find that (J±,Jz) can also be realized in terms of 3-mode bosonic operators. Employing this realization, we find the natural representation (the eigenvectors of J+ or J-) of the 3-mode squeezing operator e^2λJz. The idea of considering quantum SU(2) transformation as if squeezing is liable for us to obtain the new bosonic operator realization of SU(2) and new squeezing operators. 展开更多

受限于既有线车地无线通信系统厂家的技术标准,城轨延伸线工程存在车地无线通信系统设备选型范围小、建设成本高等问题。针对成都地铁19号线二期工程因采用不同厂家无线通信系统存在与既有线无法互联互通的问题,提出基于LTE-U技术的车... 受限于既有线车地无线通信系统厂家的技术标准,城轨延伸线工程存在车地无线通信系统设备选型范围小、建设成本高等问题。针对成都地铁19号线二期工程因采用不同厂家无线通信系统存在与既有线无法互联互通的问题,提出基于LTE-U技术的车地无线通信系统设计方案。在控制中心层面,将二期新建延伸线的车地无线通信系统接入既有线中心交换机,实现两条线路中心网络层的互通;在车载终端层面,在新建延伸线与既有线切换区域设置无线重叠覆盖,通过基于LTE-U技术的车载双模无线接入单元实现业务流在不同厂家车地无线网络间的切换,以保障业务平滑过渡。目前,该设计方案已在成都轨道交通19号线二期工程、18号线三期工程、17号线二期工程中实施,其中19号线二期工程已顺利开通,运用效果良好,现场测试结果满足规范要求及运营需求,解决了延伸线工程中不同厂家车地无线通信系统无法互联互通的问题,同时避免了车辆改造,降低了实施风险,可为后续延伸线项目、既有线改造项目中车地无线通信系统方案设计提供参考。 展开更多

The EC-QCL works in a pulsed mode and can be tuned continuously from 1340 to 1640cm^-1 by only tilting the tuning mirror.
