Among t...A contact bolt model is proposed as a new modeling technique to investigate the complex structure with bolted joints for modal analysis and compared with the coupled bolt model, and the test results are given. Among these models, the coupled bolt model provides the best accurate responses compared with the experimental results. The contact bolt model shows the best effectiveness and usefulness in view of operational time. The bolt models proposed in this study are adopted for a dynamic characteristic analysis of a large diesel engine consisting of several parts which are connected by many bolts. The dynamic behavior of the entire engine structure was investigated by experiment. The coupled bolt model and the contact bolt model were applied to model the assembly of engine with high preload. The experimental results are in good agreement with the finite element method (FEM) results. Compared with the other models, the contact bolt model presented in this paper is more effective and useful in view of operational time and experience of analysts.展开更多

A thin isotrop...A hydroelastic analysis of a rectangular plate subjected to slamming loads is presented. An analytical model based on Wagner theory is used for calculations of transient slamming load on the ship plate. A thin isotropic plate theory is considered for determining the vibration of a rectangular plate excited by an external slamming force. The forced vibration of the plate is calculated by the modal expansion method. Analytical results of the transient response of a rectangular plate induced by slamming loads are compared with numerical calculations from finite element method. The theoretical slamming pressure based on Wagner model is applied on the finite element model of a plate. Good agreement is obtained between the analytical and numerical results for the structural deflection of a rectangular plate due to slamming pressure. The effects of plate dimension and wave profile on the structural vibration are discussed as well. The results show that a low impact velocity and a small wetted radial length of wave yield negligible effects of hydroelasticity.展开更多

Considering the stiffness excitation, error excitation and meshing shock excitation, the dynamic finite element model is established for the entire gear system which includes gears, shafts, bearings and gearbox housing. By the software of I-DEAS, the natural frequency, normal mode, dynamic time-domain response, frequency-domain response and one-third octave velocity grade structure borne noise of gear system are studied by the method of theoretical modal analysis and dynamic response analysis. The maximum values of vibration and structure borne noise are occurred at the mesh frequency of output grade gearing.展开更多

The key technologies include reconfigurable structure design method of multi-process combined machining, man-machine coordination parameter programming and control system technology with self-maintenance function. A turn-milling machine tool based on this design method is developed. Natural frequency and corresponding vibration modes of the machine tool were analyzed by using both FEA and vibration test. Stiffness tests and machining experiments show that the rapid machining of most processes for the repaired work pieces can be successfully realized.展开更多

文摘基于协方差驱动随机子空间识别(covariance-driven stochastic subspace identification,SSI-COV)方法的模态参数识别具有强鲁棒性、高精度的优势,在结构工作模态分析中应用广泛。为保证模态参数识别的准确性,新近提出的基于随机子空间(stochastic subspace identification,SSI)的模态参数不确定性量化方法,可有效估计模态参数的方差,但由于其计算各中间变量时,需显式表示出Jacobian矩阵,导致矩阵运算维度高、计算效率低。为此,提出一种基于SSI-COV的模态参数不确定度高效计算方法。首先,计算振动响应相关函数的方差,通过奇异值分解(singular value decomposition,SVD),选取合适的奇异值截断阶数,由每阶奇异向量组装出多组Hankel矩阵的扰动。其次,根据一阶矩阵摄动理论,隐式计算SSI-COV算法各中间变量的一阶扰动,最终,由多组模态参数的扰动叠加计算出方差。最后,以桁架结构模型为例,采用所提方法辨识结构模态参数并计算模态参数方差,分析了Hankel矩阵维度及相关函数奇异值截断阶数对辨识结果的影响,结果表明计算得到的模态参数方差与蒙特卡洛仿真(Monte Carlo simulation,MCS)结果非常接近,且模态参数不确定度可作为剔除虚假模态的有效依据。
