In this paper, we estimate the cutoff frequency of the Ohmic spectral density by applying the π-pulse sequences(both equidistant and optimized)to a quantum probe coupled to a bosonic environment. To demonstrate the precision of cutoff frequency estimation, we theoretically derive the quantum Fisher information(QFI) and quantum signal-to-noise ratio(QSNR) across sub-Ohmic,Ohmic, and super-Ohmic environments, and investigate their behaviors through numerical examples. The results indicate that, compared to the equidistant π-pulse sequence, the optimized π-pulse sequence significantly shortens the time to reach maximum QFI while enhancing the precision of cutoff frequency estimation, particularly in deep sub-Ohmic and deep super-Ohmic environments.展开更多

Feature points are firstly extracted by the improved minimum intensity change (MIC) algorithm. The matching points of these feature points are then determined by adaptive rood pattern searching. Based on the random sample consensus (RANSAC) method, the background motion is finally compensated by the parameters of an affine transform of the background motion. With reasonable morphological filtering, the moving objects are completely extracted from the background, and then tracked accurately. Experimental results show that the improved method is successful on the motion background compensation and offers great promise in tracking moving objects of the dynamic image sequence.展开更多

In this paper, we investigate the pilot design and channel estimation problem in MIMO-OFDM-based C-V2X systems with severe co-channel interference due to spectrum reusing among different V2X communication links. By using zero-correlation zone(ZCZ) sequences, we provide an interference-free pilot design scheme and a corresponding time-domain(TD) correlation-based channel estimation(TD-CCE) method. We employ the ZCZ sequences from the same family set to be designed as the TD pilot symbols and guarantee the pilot sequeneces for neighboring V2X communication links are code-division multiplexing(CDM). The co-channel pilot interference of the deisgned pilot symbols can be effectively eliminated by exploiting the provided TD-CCE method. Simulation results indicate that the accuracy of channel estimation can be effectively improved by the proposed scheme, whose performance is close to that of the non-interference situation.展开更多

In block transmission, a unique word(UW) can be used as a cyclic prefix and reference signal. However, the DCS-based channel estimation requires diversity sequences instead of UW. In this paper, we proposed a novel method that employs a training sequence(TS) whose duration time is slightly longer than the maximum delay spread time. Based on proposed TS, the DCS approach perform perfectly in multipath channel estimation. Meanwhile, a cyclic prefix construct could be formed, which reduces the complexity of the frequency domain equalization(FDE) directly. Simulation results demonstrate that, by using the method of simultaneous orthogonal matching pursuit(SOMP), the required channel overhead has been reduced thanks to the proposed TS.展开更多

Without the apriority knowledge about the DSSS signal in the non-cooperation condition, we propose a self-organizing feature map(SOFM) neural network algorithm to detect and identify the PN sequence. A non-supervised learning algorithm is proposed according the Kohonen rule in SOFM. The blind algorithm can also estimate the PN sequence in a low signal-to-noise(SNR) and computer simulation demonstrates that the algorithm is effective. Compared with the traditional correlation algorithm based on slip-correlation, the proposed algorithm's bit error rate(BER) and complexity are lower.展开更多

Using the Doppler frequency for positioning is a promising research direction on communication and navigation integration. To tackle the high Doppler frequency and low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) in satellite communication, this paper proposes a Red and Blue Frequency Shift Discriminator(RBFSD) based on the pseudo-noise(PN) sequence.The paper derives that the cross-correlation function on the Doppler domain exhibits the characteristic of a Sinc function. Therefore, it applies modulation onto the Delay-Doppler domain using PN sequence and adjusts Doppler frequency estimation by red-shifting or blue-shifting. Simulation results show that the performance of Doppler frequency estimation is close to the Cramér-Rao Lower Bound when the SNR is greater than -15dB. The proposed algorithm is about 1/D times less complex than the existing PN pilot sequence algorithm, where D is the resolution of the fractional Doppler.展开更多

自动落布车位姿估计的准确性是影响其在纺织车间内同时定位与地图构建(simultaneous localization and mapping,SLAM)的关键因素。在进行自动落布车位姿估计时,遇到观测噪声异常变化或噪声协方差与算法不匹配等情况时,无迹卡尔曼滤波(un...自动落布车位姿估计的准确性是影响其在纺织车间内同时定位与地图构建(simultaneous localization and mapping,SLAM)的关键因素。在进行自动落布车位姿估计时,遇到观测噪声异常变化或噪声协方差与算法不匹配等情况时,无迹卡尔曼滤波(unscented Kalman filter,UKF)难以准确估计小车的位置和姿态。针对此问题,将误差序列协方差估计与遗忘因子同时引入UKF进行改进,提出了一种改进的自适应UKF自动落布车位姿估计算法。通过误差序列协方差估计对观测噪声协方差矩阵R进行调整,引入遗忘因子对R进行自适应更新,进而得到自动落布车位姿的最优估计。实验结果表明,在高斯噪声环境下,改进的UKF算法比其他算法具有更好的鲁棒性和估计精度。改进后的UKF位姿估计算法代入Cartographer算法后建图误差值减小,表明此算法能够在室内复杂环境下达到更加精确的位姿估计。展开更多
The demand for high-data-rate underwater acoustic communications(UACs)in marine development is increasing;however,severe multipaths make demodulation a challenge.The decision feedback equalizer(DFE)is one of the most ...The demand for high-data-rate underwater acoustic communications(UACs)in marine development is increasing;however,severe multipaths make demodulation a challenge.The decision feedback equalizer(DFE)is one of the most popular equalizers in UAC;however,it is not the optimal algorithm.Although maximum likelihood sequence estimation(MLSE)is the optimal algorithm,its complexity increases exponentially with the number of channel taps,making it challenging to apply to UAC.Therefore,this paper proposes a complexity-reduced MLSE to improve the bit error rate(BER)performance in multipath channels.In the proposed algorithm,the original channel is first shortened using a channel-shortening method,and several dominant channel taps are selected for MLSE.Subsequently,sphere decoding(SD)is performed in the following MLSE.Iterations are applied to eliminate inter-symbol interference caused by weak channel taps.The simulation and sea experiment demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm.The simulation results show that channel shortening combined with SD can drastically reduce computational complexity,and iterative SD performs better than DFE based on recursive least squares(RLS-DFE),DFE based on improved proportionate normalized least mean squares(IPNLMS-DFE),and channel estimation-based DFE(CE-DFE).Moreover,the sea experimental results at Zhairuoshan Island in Zhoushan show that the proposed receiver scheme has improved BER performance over RLSDFE,IPNLMS-DFE,and CE-DFE.Compared with the RLS-DFE,the BER,after five iterations,is reduced from 0.0076 to 0.0037 in the 8–12 k Hz band and from 0.1516 to 0.1145 in the 13–17 k Hz band at a distance of 2000 m.Thus,the proposed algorithm makes it possible to apply MLSE in UAC in practical scenarios.展开更多
