This algorithm eliminates a large number of false location points from the assignment process by rough correlations before we calculate the correlation cost, so it avoids the operations for the target state estimate and the calculation of the correlation cost for the false correlation sets. In the meantime, with the elimination of these points in the rough correlation, the disturbance from the false correlations in the assignment process is decreased, so the data correlation accuracy is improved correspondingly. Complexity analyses of the new multi-layer optimal algorithm and the traditional optimal assignment algorithm are given. Simulation results show that the new algorithm is feasible and effective.展开更多
An indoor location system based on multilayer artificial neural network(ANN) with area division is proposed.The characteristics of recorded signal strength(RSS),or signal to noise ratio(SNR) from each available ...An indoor location system based on multilayer artificial neural network(ANN) with area division is proposed.The characteristics of recorded signal strength(RSS),or signal to noise ratio(SNR) from each available access points(APs),are utilized to establish the radio map in the off-line phase.And in the on-line phase,the two or three dimensional coordinates of mobile terminals(MTs) are estimated according to the similarity between the new recorded RSS or SNR and fingerprints pre-stored in radio map.Although the feed-forward ANN with three layers is sufficient to describe any nonlinear mapping relationship between inputs and outputs with finite discontinuous points,the efficient inputs for better training performances are difficult to be determined because of complex and dynamic indoor environment.Then,the discussion of distance relativity for different signal characteristics and optimal strategies for multi-mode phenomenon avoidance is presented.And also,the feasibility and effectiveness of this method are verified based on the experimental comparison with normal ANN without area division,K-nearest neighbor(KNN) and probability methods in typical office environment.展开更多

This paper proposes a MS source location method based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and multi-sensor arrays, where a free weight joint...Microseismic (MS) source location plays an important role in MS monitoring. This paper proposes a MS source location method based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and multi-sensor arrays, where a free weight joints the P-wave first arrival data. This method adaptively adjusts the preference for “superior” arrays and leverages “inferior” arrays to escape local optima, thereby improving the location accuracy. The effectiveness and stability of this method were validated through synthetic tests, pencil-lead break (PLB) experiments, and mining engineering applications. Specifically, for synthetic tests with 1 μs Gaussian noise and 100 μs large noise in rock samples, the location error of the multi-sensor arrays jointed location method is only 0.30 cm, which improves location accuracy by 97.51% compared to that using a single sensor array. The average location error of PLB events on three surfaces of a rock sample is reduced by 48.95%, 26.40%, and 55.84%, respectively. For mine blast event tests, the average location error of the dual sensor arrays jointed method is 62.74 m, 54.32% and 14.29% lower than that using only sensor arrays 1 and 2, respectively. In summary, the proposed multi-sensor arrays jointed location method demonstrates good noise resistance, stability, and accuracy, providing a compelling new solution for MS location in relevant mining scenarios.展开更多

In order t...The drum shearer and high pressure water jet combined cutting system is an effective technology to cut hard coal-rock, but one problem of the technology is the choice of pick and nozzle location parameters. In order to solve the problem, the process and mechanism of combined cutting arc studied and mining seepage catastrophe theory is used to construct the mathematic and physical model of combined cutting hard coal-rock. Based on the model and detailed analysis of combined cutting mechanism, the single pick and nozzle combined cutting test-bed is built to test the main pick and nozzle location parameters of drum shearer and water jet combined cutting system. Test results show that the best vertical distance between the pick-tip and nozzle center point is the sum of cutting thickness and proper target distance in the Y axial direction; the best horizontal distance is the length between pick-tip point and coal-rock surface bursting crack point in the X axial direction. The best incident angle of water jet should be the same as the bursting crack line's angle in theory, but considering other important factors comprehensively, it is more reasonable when the incident angle of water jet is 90°.展开更多

The principles and characteristics of wireless location determination technologies are introduced and the characteristics of GSM useful for location determination are also summarized. An experimental positioning system based on GSM is proposed, and the architecture is described. TOA method based on GSM signals and TDOA method are used in the experimental system. Moreover, the methods are simulated. The performance of the positioning methods is assessed in the simulation environment, and the accuracy for 67% mobile stations (MS) is 70m in urban areas.展开更多

To address the poor performance of commonly used intelligent optimization algorithms in solving location problems—specifically regarding effectiveness,efficiency,and stability—this study proposes a novel location al...To address the poor performance of commonly used intelligent optimization algorithms in solving location problems—specifically regarding effectiveness,efficiency,and stability—this study proposes a novel location allocation method for the delivery sites to deliver daily necessities during epidemic quarantines.After establishing the optimization objectives and constraints,we developed a relevant mathematical model based on the collected data and utilized traditional intelligent optimization algorithms to obtain Pareto optimal solutions.Building on the characteristics of these Pareto front solutions,we introduced an improved clustering algorithm and conducted simulation experiments using data from Changchun City.The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms traditional intelligent optimization algorithms in terms of effectiveness,efficiency,and stability,achieving reductions of approximately 12%and 8%in time and labor costs,respectively,compared to the baseline algorithm.展开更多

A new vision-based long-distance lane perception and front vehicle location method was developed for decision making of full autonomous vehicles on highway roads,Firstly,a real-time long-distance lane detection approa...A new vision-based long-distance lane perception and front vehicle location method was developed for decision making of full autonomous vehicles on highway roads,Firstly,a real-time long-distance lane detection approach was presented based on a linear-cubic road model for two-lane highways.By using a novel robust lane marking feature which combines the constraints of intensity,edge and width,the lane markings in far regions were extracted accurately and efficiently.Next,the detected lane lines were selected and tracked by estimating the lateral offset and heading angle of ego vehicle with a Kalman filter,Finally,front vehicles were located on correct lanes using the tracked lane lines,Experiment results show that the proposed lane perception approach can achieve an average correct detection rate of 94.37% with an average false positive detection rate of 0.35%,The proposed approaches for long-distance lane perception and front vehicle location were validated in a 286 km full autonomous drive experiment under real traffic conditions.This successful experiment shows that the approaches are effective and robust enough for full autonomous vehicles on highway roads.展开更多

Compared with weighted least squares(WLS) methods,the proposed algorithm is also suitable for well-posed conditions,and gets rid of the dependence on the constraints of Earth's surface. First of all, the solution formulas are expressed by the radial range. Then substitute it into the equation of the radial range to figure out the radial range between the target and the reference station. Finally use the solution expression of the target location to estimate the location of the target accurately. The proposed algorithm solves the problem that WLS methods have a large positioning error when the number of observation stations is not over-determined. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, including effectively increasing the positioning accuracy and reducing the number of observatories.展开更多

Source location is the core foundation of microseismic monitoring.To date,commonly used location methods have usually been based on the ray-tracing travel-time technique,which generally adopts an L1 or L2 norm to esta...Source location is the core foundation of microseismic monitoring.To date,commonly used location methods have usually been based on the ray-tracing travel-time technique,which generally adopts an L1 or L2 norm to establish the location objective function.However,the L1 norm usually achieves low location accuracy,whereas the L2 norm is easily affected by large P-wave arrival-time picking errors.In addition,traditional location methods may be affected by the initial iteration point used to find a local optimum location.Furthermore,the P-wave arrival-time data that have travelled long distances are usually poor in quality.To address these problems,this paper presents a microseismic source location method using the Log-Cosh function and distant sensor-removed P-wave arrival data.Its basic principles are as follows:First,the source location objective function is established using the Log-Cosh function.This function has the stability of the L1 norm and location accuracy of the L2 norm.Then,multiple initial points are generated randomly in the mining area,and the established Log-Cosh location objective function is used to obtain multiple corresponding location results.The average value of the 50 location points with the largest data field potential values is treated as the initial location result.Next,the P-wave travel times from the initial location result to triggered sensors are calculated,and then the P-wave arrival data with travel times exceeding 0.2 s are removed.Finally,the aforementioned location steps are repeated with the denoised P-wave arrival dataset to obtain a high-precision location result.Two synthetic events and eight blasting events from the Yongshaba mine,China,were used to test the proposed method.Regardless of whether the P-wave arrival data with long travel times were eliminated,the location error of the proposed method was smaller than that of the L1/L2 norm and trigger-time-based location method(TT1/TT2 method).Furthermore,after eliminating the Pwave arrival data with long travel distances,the location accuracy of these three location methods increased,indicating that the proposed location method has good application prospects.展开更多

By utilizing the time differences of arrival (TDOAs) and gain ratios of arrival (GROAs), an efficient algorithm for estimating the position is proposed, which exploits the Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno (BFGS) quasi-Newton method to solve nonlinear equations at the source location under the additive measurement error. Although the accuracy of two-step weighted-least-square (WLS) method based on TDOAs and GROAs is very high, this method has a high computational complexity. While the proposed approach can achieve the same accuracy and bias with the lower computational complexity when the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is high, especially it can achieve better accuracy and smaller bias at a lower SNR. The proposed algorithm can be applied to the actual environment due to its real-time property and good robust performance. Simulation results show that with a good initial guess to begin with, the proposed estimator converges to the true solution and achieves the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) accuracy for both near-field and far-field sources.展开更多

There are lots of depots in the traditional support system, which makes too many redundant spare parts and causes high cost of support. Meanwhile,the inconsistency among depots makes it difficult to manage spare parts. With the development of information technology and transportation, the supply network has become more efficient. In order to further improve the efficiency of supply-support work and the availability of the equipment system, building a system of one centralized depot with multiple depots becomes an appropriate way.In this case, location selection of the depots including centralized depots and multiple depots becomes a top priority in the support system. This paper will focus on the location selection problem of centralized depots considering ILS factors. Unlike the common location selection problem, depots in ILS require a higher service level. Therefore, it becomes desperately necessary to take the high requirement of the mission into account while determining location of depots. Based on this, we raise an optimal depot location model. First, the expected transportation cost is calculated.Next, factors in ILS such as response time, availability and fill rate are analyzed for evaluating positions of open depots. Then, an optimization model of depot location is developed with the minimum expected cost of transportation as objective and ILS factors as constraints. Finally, a numerical case is studied to prove the validity of the model by using the genetic algorithm. Results show that depot location obtained by this model can guarantee the effectiveness and capability of ILS well.展开更多
Using structured mesh to discretize the calculation region, the wind velocity and pressure distribution in front of the wind barrier under different embankment heights are investigated based on the Detached Eddy Simul...Using structured mesh to discretize the calculation region, the wind velocity and pressure distribution in front of the wind barrier under different embankment heights are investigated based on the Detached Eddy Simulation(DES) with standard SpalartAllmaras(SA) model. The Reynolds number is 4.0×105 in this calculation. The region is three-dimensional. Since the wind barrier and trains are almost invariable cross-sections, only 25 m along the track is modeled. The height of embankment ranges from 1 m to 5 m and the wind barrier is 3 m high. The results show that the wind speed changes obviously before the wind barrier on the horizontal plane, which is 4.5 m high above the track. The speed of wind reduces gradually while approaching the wind barrier. It reaches the minimum value at a distance about 5 m before the wind barrier, and increases dramatically afterwards. The speed of wind at this location is linear with the speed of far field. The train aerodynamic coefficients decrease sharply with the increment of the embankment height. And they take up the monotonicity. Meanwhile, when the height increases from 3 m to 5 m, they just change slightly. It is concluded that the optimum anemometer location is nearly 5 m in front of the wind barrier.展开更多

文摘A new vision-based long-distance lane perception and front vehicle location method was developed for decision making of full autonomous vehicles on highway roads,Firstly,a real-time long-distance lane detection approach was presented based on a linear-cubic road model for two-lane highways.By using a novel robust lane marking feature which combines the constraints of intensity,edge and width,the lane markings in far regions were extracted accurately and efficiently.Next,the detected lane lines were selected and tracked by estimating the lateral offset and heading angle of ego vehicle with a Kalman filter,Finally,front vehicles were located on correct lanes using the tracked lane lines,Experiment results show that the proposed lane perception approach can achieve an average correct detection rate of 94.37% with an average false positive detection rate of 0.35%,The proposed approaches for long-distance lane perception and front vehicle location were validated in a 286 km full autonomous drive experiment under real traffic conditions.This successful experiment shows that the approaches are effective and robust enough for full autonomous vehicles on highway roads.

文摘Based on the time differences of arrival(TDOA) and frequency differences of arrival(FDOA) measurements of the given planar stationary radiation source, the joint TDOA/FDOA location algorithm which solves the location of the target directly is proposed. Compared with weighted least squares(WLS) methods,the proposed algorithm is also suitable for well-posed conditions,and gets rid of the dependence on the constraints of Earth's surface. First of all, the solution formulas are expressed by the radial range. Then substitute it into the equation of the radial range to figure out the radial range between the target and the reference station. Finally use the solution expression of the target location to estimate the location of the target accurately. The proposed algorithm solves the problem that WLS methods have a large positioning error when the number of observation stations is not over-determined. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, including effectively increasing the positioning accuracy and reducing the number of observatories.

Based on thorough research of knowledge presentation, the intelligent fault diagnosis system is implemented with artificial intelligence for a large-scale missile weapon equipment. The method is an effective way to perform fuzzy fault diagnosis. Moreover, it provides a new way of the fault diagnosis for large-scale missile weapon equipment.

文摘Source location is the core foundation of microseismic monitoring.To date,commonly used location methods have usually been based on the ray-tracing travel-time technique,which generally adopts an L1 or L2 norm to establish the location objective function.However,the L1 norm usually achieves low location accuracy,whereas the L2 norm is easily affected by large P-wave arrival-time picking errors.In addition,traditional location methods may be affected by the initial iteration point used to find a local optimum location.Furthermore,the P-wave arrival-time data that have travelled long distances are usually poor in quality.To address these problems,this paper presents a microseismic source location method using the Log-Cosh function and distant sensor-removed P-wave arrival data.Its basic principles are as follows:First,the source location objective function is established using the Log-Cosh function.This function has the stability of the L1 norm and location accuracy of the L2 norm.Then,multiple initial points are generated randomly in the mining area,and the established Log-Cosh location objective function is used to obtain multiple corresponding location results.The average value of the 50 location points with the largest data field potential values is treated as the initial location result.Next,the P-wave travel times from the initial location result to triggered sensors are calculated,and then the P-wave arrival data with travel times exceeding 0.2 s are removed.Finally,the aforementioned location steps are repeated with the denoised P-wave arrival dataset to obtain a high-precision location result.Two synthetic events and eight blasting events from the Yongshaba mine,China,were used to test the proposed method.Regardless of whether the P-wave arrival data with long travel times were eliminated,the location error of the proposed method was smaller than that of the L1/L2 norm and trigger-time-based location method(TT1/TT2 method).Furthermore,after eliminating the Pwave arrival data with long travel distances,the location accuracy of these three location methods increased,indicating that the proposed location method has good application prospects.

文摘With the emergence of location-based applications in various fields, the higher accuracy of positioning is demanded. By utilizing the time differences of arrival (TDOAs) and gain ratios of arrival (GROAs), an efficient algorithm for estimating the position is proposed, which exploits the Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno (BFGS) quasi-Newton method to solve nonlinear equations at the source location under the additive measurement error. Although the accuracy of two-step weighted-least-square (WLS) method based on TDOAs and GROAs is very high, this method has a high computational complexity. While the proposed approach can achieve the same accuracy and bias with the lower computational complexity when the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is high, especially it can achieve better accuracy and smaller bias at a lower SNR. The proposed algorithm can be applied to the actual environment due to its real-time property and good robust performance. Simulation results show that with a good initial guess to begin with, the proposed estimator converges to the true solution and achieves the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) accuracy for both near-field and far-field sources.

文摘In equipment integrated logistics support(ILS), the supply capability of spare parts is a significant factor. There are lots of depots in the traditional support system, which makes too many redundant spare parts and causes high cost of support. Meanwhile,the inconsistency among depots makes it difficult to manage spare parts. With the development of information technology and transportation, the supply network has become more efficient. In order to further improve the efficiency of supply-support work and the availability of the equipment system, building a system of one centralized depot with multiple depots becomes an appropriate way.In this case, location selection of the depots including centralized depots and multiple depots becomes a top priority in the support system. This paper will focus on the location selection problem of centralized depots considering ILS factors. Unlike the common location selection problem, depots in ILS require a higher service level. Therefore, it becomes desperately necessary to take the high requirement of the mission into account while determining location of depots. Based on this, we raise an optimal depot location model. First, the expected transportation cost is calculated.Next, factors in ILS such as response time, availability and fill rate are analyzed for evaluating positions of open depots. Then, an optimization model of depot location is developed with the minimum expected cost of transportation as objective and ILS factors as constraints. Finally, a numerical case is studied to prove the validity of the model by using the genetic algorithm. Results show that depot location obtained by this model can guarantee the effectiveness and capability of ILS well.

文摘Using structured mesh to discretize the calculation region, the wind velocity and pressure distribution in front of the wind barrier under different embankment heights are investigated based on the Detached Eddy Simulation(DES) with standard SpalartAllmaras(SA) model. The Reynolds number is 4.0×105 in this calculation. The region is three-dimensional. Since the wind barrier and trains are almost invariable cross-sections, only 25 m along the track is modeled. The height of embankment ranges from 1 m to 5 m and the wind barrier is 3 m high. The results show that the wind speed changes obviously before the wind barrier on the horizontal plane, which is 4.5 m high above the track. The speed of wind reduces gradually while approaching the wind barrier. It reaches the minimum value at a distance about 5 m before the wind barrier, and increases dramatically afterwards. The speed of wind at this location is linear with the speed of far field. The train aerodynamic coefficients decrease sharply with the increment of the embankment height. And they take up the monotonicity. Meanwhile, when the height increases from 3 m to 5 m, they just change slightly. It is concluded that the optimum anemometer location is nearly 5 m in front of the wind barrier.
