In this paper,we shall study structures of even lattice vertex operator algebras by using the geometry of the varieties of their semi-conformal vectors.We first give the varieties of semi-conformal vectors of a family of vertex operator algebras V_(√kA_(1)) associated to rank-one positive definite even lattices √kA_(1) for arbitrary positive integers k to characterize these even lattice vertex operator algebras.In such a family of lattice vertex operator algebras V_(√kA_(1)),the vertex operator algebra V_(√2A_(1)) is different from others.Hence we describe the varieties of semi-conformal vectors of V_(√2A_(1)) and the fixed vertex operator subalgebra V^(+)√2A_(1).Moreover,as applications,we study the relations between vertex operator algebras V_(√kA_(1) )and L_(sl_(2))(k,0)for arbitrary positive integers k by the viewpoint of semi-conformal homomorphisms of vertex operator algebras.For case k=2,in the series of rational simple affine vertex operator algebras L_(sl_(2))(k,0)for positive integers k,we show that L_(sl_(2))(2,0)is a unique frame vertex operator algebra with rank 3. 展开更多

Learning complex nonlinear physical systems using wavelet neural operators

Nonlinear science is a fundamental area of physics research that investigates complex dynamical systems which are often characterized by high sensitivity and nonlinear behaviors.Numerical simulations play a pivotal role in nonlinear science,serving as a critical tool for revealing the underlying principles governing these systems.In addition,they play a crucial role in accelerating progress across various fields,such as climate modeling,weather forecasting,and fluid dynamics.However,their high computational cost limits their application in high-precision or long-duration simulations.In this study,we propose a novel data-driven approach for simulating complex physical systems,particularly turbulent phenomena.Specifically,we develop an efficient surrogate model based on the wavelet neural operator(WNO).Experimental results demonstrate that the enhanced WNO model can accurately simulate small-scale turbulent flows while using lower computational costs.In simulations of complex physical fields,the improved WNO model outperforms established deep learning models,such as U-Net,Res Net,and the Fourier neural operator(FNO),in terms of accuracy.Notably,the improved WNO model exhibits exceptional generalization capabilities,maintaining stable performance across a wide range of initial conditions and high-resolution scenarios without retraining.This study highlights the significant potential of the enhanced WNO model for simulating complex physical systems,providing strong evidence to support the development of more efficient,scalable,and high-precision simulation techniques. 展开更多

Fractional calculus has drawn more attentions of mathematicians and engineers in recent years.A lot of new fractional operators were used to handle various practical problems.In this article,we mainly study four new fractional operators,namely the CaputoFabrizio operator,the Atangana-Baleanu operator,the Sun-Hao-Zhang-Baleanu operator and the generalized Caputo type operator under the frame of the k-Prabhakar fractional integral operator.Usually,the theory of the k-Prabhakar fractional integral is regarded as a much broader than classical fractional operator.Here,we firstly give a series expansion of the k-Prabhakar fractional integral by means of the k-Riemann-Liouville integral.Then,a connection between the k-Prabhakar fractional integral and the four new fractional operators of the above mentioned was shown,respectively.In terms of the above analysis,we can obtain this a basic fact that it only needs to consider the k-Prabhakar fractional integral to cover these results from the four new fractional operators. 展开更多

Locally purified density operators for noisy quantum circuits

Open quantum system simulations are essential for exploring novel quantum phenomena and evaluating noisy quantum circuits.In this Letter,we investigate whether mixed states generated from noisy quantum circuits can be efficiently represented by locally purified density operators(LPDOs).We map an LPDO of N qubits to a pure state of size 2×N defined on a ladder and introduce a unified method for managing virtual and Kraus bonds.We numerically simulate noisy random quantum circuits with depths of up to d=40 using fidelity and entanglement entropy as accuracy measures.The LPDO representation is effective in describing mixed states in both the quantum and classical regions;however,it encounters significant challenges at the quantum-classical critical point,restricting its applicability to the quantum region.In contrast,matrix product operators(MPO)successfully characterize the entanglement trend throughout the simulation,while the truncation in MPOs breaks the positivity condition required for a physical density matrix.This work advances our understanding of efficient mixed-state representations in open quantum systems and provides insights into the entanglement structure of noisy quantum circuits. 展开更多

Infinite matrix theory is an important branch of function analysis.Every linear operator on a complex separable infinite dimensional Hilbert space corresponds to an infinite matrix with respect a orthonormal base of the space,but not every infinite matrix corresponds to an operator.The classical Schur test provides an elegant and useful criterion for the boundedness of linear operators,which is considered a respectable mathematical accomplishment.In this paper,we prove the compact version of the Schur test.Moreover,we provide the Schur test for the Schatten class S_(2).It is worth noting that our main results can be applicable to the general matrix without limitation on non-negative numbers.We finally provide the Schur test for compact operators from l_(p) into l_(q). 展开更多

In this paper,we study multiplication operators on weighted Dirichlet spaces D_(β)(β∈R).Let n be a positive integer and β∈R,we show that the multiplication operator M_(z)^(n) on D_(β) is similar to the operator ⊕_(1)^(n)M_(z)on the space⊕_(1)^(n)D_(β).Moreover,we prove that M_(z)^(n)(≥2)on Dβis unitarily equivalent to ⊕_(1)^(n)M_(z) on⊕_(1)^(n)D_(β) if and only if β=0.In addition,we completely characterize the unitary equivalence of the restrictions of M_(z)^(n) to different invariant subspaces z^(k)D_(β)(k≥1),and the unitary equivalence of the restrictions of M_(z)^(n) to different invariant subspaces S_(j)(0≤j<n).Abkar,Cao and Zhu[Complex Anal Oper Theory,2020,14:Art 58]pointed out that it is an important,natural,and difficult question in operator theory to identify the commutant of a bounded linear operator.They characterized the commutant A′( M_(z)^(n))of M_(z)^(n)on a family of analytic function spaces A_(α)^(2)(α∈R)on D(in fact,the family of spaces A_(α)^(2)(α∈R)is the same with the family of spaces D_(β)(β∈R))in terms of the multiplier algebra of the underlying function spaces.In this paper,we give a new characterization of the commutant A′( M_(z)^(n))of M_(z)^(n)on D_(β),and characterize the self-adjoint operators and unitary operators in A'(M_(z)^(n)).We find that the class of self-adjoint operators(unitary operators)in A'(M_(z)^(n))when β≠0 is different from the class of self-adjoint operators(unitary operators)in A′( M_(z)^(n))when β=0. 展开更多

We study the dynamics of fundamental and double-pole breathers and solitons for the focusing and defocusing nonlinear Schrodinger equation with the sextic operator under non-zero boundary conditions. Our analysis mainly focuses onthe dynamical properties of simple- and double-pole solutions. Firstly, through verification, we find that solutions undernon-zero boundary conditions can be transformed into solutions under zero boundary conditions, whether in simple-pole ordouble-pole cases. For the focusing case, in the investigation of simple-pole solutions, temporal periodic breather and thespatial-temporal periodic breather are obtained by modulating parameters. Additionally, in the case of multi-pole solitons,we analyze parallel-state solitons, bound-state solitons, and intersecting solitons, providing a brief analysis of their interactions.In the double-pole case, we observe that the two solitons undergo two interactions, resulting in a distinctive “triangle”crest. Furthermore, for the defocusing case, we briefly consider two situations of simple-pole solutions, obtaining one andtwo dark solitons. 展开更多
