In order to validate the simulation model and develop heave compensation control strategy,heave compensation model tests were performed.The model test installation includes themining ship motion simulator,the heave co...In order to validate the simulation model and develop heave compensation control strategy,heave compensation model tests were performed.The model test installation includes themining ship motion simulator,the heave compensation system,the lifting pipe simulator,the buffer simulator and the water pool.The tests ofmining ship motion simulator show that it is able to perform under the predetermined attitude path smoothly and can meet the requirements of themining ship motions.The heave compensation effect is more than 60% under random wave and the goal is set to be 50%.The model test results indicate that this heave compensation system is effective and feasible.展开更多

Based on a five-axis linked CNC grinding machine, a new method is presented to deprive the equation of face gear error tooth surface by assuming the tool surface as the error surface, where actual tool installation position error is introduced into the equation of virtual shaper cutter. Surface equations and 3-D models for the face gear and the worm wheel involving four kinds of tool installation errors are established. When compared, the face gear tooth surface machined in VERICUT software for simulation based on this new method and the one obtained based on real process(grinding face gear by using a theoretical worm wheel with actual position errors) are found to be coincident, which proves the validity and feasibility of this new method. By using mesh planning for the rotating projection plane of the face gear work tooth surface, the deviation values of the tooth surface and the difference surface are acquired, and the influence of four kinds of errors on the face gear tooth surface is analyzed. Accordingly, this work provides a theoretical reference for assembly craft of worm wheel, improvement of face gear machining accuracy and modification of error tooth surface.展开更多

According to the cutting characteristics of progressive spiral movement by rotary cutting of the disc cutter, using the broken theory of interaction of compression and shearing, the three-axis force rotary cutting mec...According to the cutting characteristics of progressive spiral movement by rotary cutting of the disc cutter, using the broken theory of interaction of compression and shearing, the three-axis force rotary cutting mechanical model of disc cutter was established and the influence of installation radius, the phase difference and the cutter space on the mechanics of disc cutter were analyzed. The results show that on the same radial line of tunneling interface, the boring distance of cutting tools installed on a different radius is not equal. The cutting radial line of tunneling interface is a polyline and its height is determined by phase angle and penetration of cutting tools. Both phase difference and the installation radius between adjacent disc cutters have little effect on the vertical force and rolling force, but increase with the increase in cutter spacing. In addition, when increasing phase difference and cutter space bilaterally, and reducing installation radius simultaneously, the lateral force would be improved. The center cutter of a hard rock tunnel boring machine(TBM) is installed on the cutterhead at a small radius and thus bears complex side force.Given this fact,the formation mechanism and change law of the side force s...The center cutter of a hard rock tunnel boring machine(TBM) is installed on the cutterhead at a small radius and thus bears complex side force.Given this fact,the formation mechanism and change law of the side force suffered by the center cutter were studied.Based on the rock shear failure criterion in combination with the lateral rolling width,a model for predicting the average side force was set up.Besides,a numerical analysis model of the rock fragmentation of the center cutter was established,and the instantaneous load changing features were investigated.Results shows that the inner side of the center cutter can form lateral rolling annulus in rock during the rotary cutting process.The smaller the installation radius is,the greater the cutter side force will be.In a working condition,the side force of the innermost center cutter is 11.66 k N,while it decreases sharply when installation radius increases.Variation tends to be gentle when installation radius is larger than 500 mm,and the side force of the outermost center cutter is reduced to 0.74 k N.展开更多

The TGP is constructed in 3 stages . The preparation period together with the first stage is 5 years , the second stage and third stage are both 6 years .In the second stage construction of 6 years (1998~2003) , there are 18.46 Mm\+3 of concrete to be placed and 0.192 Mt of metal works and embedded parts for mechanical and electric equipment to be installed . In 1999, a world record of annual concrete placement of 4.585 Mm\+3 was set . In 2000, it is planned to place 5.4 Mm\+3 of concrete and to install 38 000 t of metal works . In order to obtain the determining method of the installing angle and decrease the performance indices (cutting force and wearing rate) of the pick, the relationships among the installing angles (impact angle, inclina...In order to obtain the determining method of the installing angle and decrease the performance indices (cutting force and wearing rate) of the pick, the relationships among the installing angles (impact angle, inclination angle and the skew angle) were studied, and the static model of installing angles of the pick was built. The relationships among the impact angle, the tip angle of pick and the kinematics parameters of the pick were built, too. Moreover, the mechanic models of the maximum clearance angle and the wearing angle of the pick were set up. To research the relationships of the installing angles and the change law of the wearing angle along with the kinematics parameters, the simulation was done. In order to verify the correctness of the models, the cutting experiments were done by employing two picks with different pick tip angles. The results indicate that, the cutting force is the smallest when the direction of the resultant force of pick follows its axis, and the relationship derived among the installing angles should be satisfied. In addition, to decrease the cutting force and the wearing of the pick, the tip angle of pick should not be larger than the half of the difference between the minimum wearing angle and the impact angle of the pick, and the clearance angle must not be less than zero.展开更多
