A grey measurement system is discussed from the point of view of intelligent sensors and incomplete information processing compared with a numerical and symbolized measurement system. The methods of grey representation and information processing are proposed for data collection and reasoning. After that, the system simulation andthe performance analysis and comparison are provided, whichinitially proves the rationality and advantages of the proposedideas. Finally, four important development ideas of futureSWOTHR toward "high frequency intelligence information processing system" are discussed, which are scene information fusion, dynamic reconfigurable system, hierarchical and modulardesign, and sustainable development. The operational principle of FBG geophone is introduced and illustrated with systematic experimental data, demonstrating an improved FBG geophone with many advantages over the conventional geophones. An innovative, robust, and simple algorithm is developed for obtaining the bearing information on the seismic events, such as people walking, or vehicles moving. Such DOA estimate is based on the interactions and projections of surface-propagating seismic waves generated by the moving personnel or vehicles with a single tri-axial seismic sensor based on FBGs. Of particular interest is the case when the distance between the source of the seismic wave and the detector is less than or comparable to one wavelength (less than 100 m), corresponding to near-field detection, where an effective method of DOA finding lacks.展开更多

According to the effect of diverse targets on earth's magnetism,the moving targets are detected by a magnetic sensor and classified with a simple computation method. The detection sensor is used for collecting a disturbance signal of earth magnetic field from an undetermined target. An optimum category match pattern of target signature is tested by training some statistical samples and designing a classification machine. Three ordinary targets are researched in the paper. The experimental results show that the algorithm has a low computation cost and a better sorting accuracy. Usually,they use a magneto-optic tool to collect the outputs of OT and EMT simultaneously,and then compare the output of OT with that of EMT to compensate the error of EMT. Although the outputs of EMT and OT can be matched each other by using a time stamp which denotes when the acquirement command is sent,but the accuracy will decrease if the tool moves faster for the errors of the time stamp itself. A rapid method for compensating EMT output error is proposed. A particular scan mode of the magneto-optic tool is designed for collecting EMT and OT outputs,and a data registration method is proposed to match the outputs of EMT and OT. The simulated results show that the output error of EMT can be decreased efficiently and the accuracy of the compensation can be improved by about 15% compared with that of the existing methods.展开更多
As conventional methods for beam pattern synthesis can not always obtain the desired optimum pattern for the arbitrary underwater acoustic sensor arrays,a hybrid numerical synthesis method based on adaptive principle ...As conventional methods for beam pattern synthesis can not always obtain the desired optimum pattern for the arbitrary underwater acoustic sensor arrays,a hybrid numerical synthesis method based on adaptive principle and genetic algorithm was presented in this paper.First,based on the adaptive theory,a given array was supposed as an adaptive array and its sidelobes were reduced by assigning a number of interference signals in the sidelobe region.An initial beam pattern was obtained after several iterations and adjustments of the interference intensity,and based on its parameters,a desired pattern was created.Then,an objective function based on the difference between the designed and desired patterns can be constructed.The pattern can be optimized by using the genetic algorithm to minimize the objective function.A design example for a double-circular array demonstrates the effectiveness of this method.Compared with the approaches existing before,the proposed method can reduce the sidelobe effectively and achieve less synthesis magnitude error in the mainlobe.The method can search for optimum attainable pattern for the specific elements if the desired pattern can not be found.展开更多

The existing threshold segmentation methods almost fail under the circumstances. Thus, a threshold selection method is proposed on the basis of area difference between background and object and intra-class variance. The threshold selection formulae based on one-dimensional (1-D) histogram, two-dimensional (2-D) histogram vertical segmentation and 2-D histogram oblique segmentation are given. A fast recursive algorithm of threshold selection in 2-D histogram oblique segmentation is derived. The segmented images and processing time of the proposed method are given in experiments. It is compared with some fast algorithms, such as Otsu, maximum entropy and Fisher threshold selection methods. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively segment the small object images and has better anti-noise property.展开更多

It firstly utilized the fuze scanning to obtain the distance and azimuth information of the target's main scattering centers at different times, i.e. the track information of scattering centers under the polar coordinates, then used the polar Hough transform to transform the track into the parameter space in order to accumulate the dots and drew 3-D parameter space diagram, in which the peak points corresponded to the target's scattering centers. The simulation results indicate that the method can not only extract scattering centers efficiently and accurately, but also has strong anti-noise performance, and the algorithm is simple and easy to be implemented in engineering.展开更多

文摘The noise's statistical characteristics are very important for signal detection.In this paper,the ambient noise statistical characteristics are investigated by using the recorded noise data in sea trials first,and the results show that the generalized Gaussian distribution is a suitable model for the ambient noise modeling.Thereafter,the optimal detector based on maximum likelihood ratio can be deduced,and the asymptotic detector is also derived under weak signal assumption.The detector's performance is verified by using numerical simulation,and the results showthat the optimal and asymptotic detectors outperform the conventional correlation-integration system due to accuracy modeling of ambient noise.
文摘In order to extract the feature information of ultra wide-band (UWB) radio fuze target and give full play to the warhead's strike ability, a method based on polar Hough transform for scattering centers extraction of the target was proposed in this paper. It firstly utilized the fuze scanning to obtain the distance and azimuth information of the target's main scattering centers at different times, i.e. the track information of scattering centers under the polar coordinates, then used the polar Hough transform to transform the track into the parameter space in order to accumulate the dots and drew 3-D parameter space diagram, in which the peak points corresponded to the target's scattering centers. The simulation results indicate that the method can not only extract scattering centers efficiently and accurately, but also has strong anti-noise performance, and the algorithm is simple and easy to be implemented in engineering.
