The targets, methods and procedures of the overall design of LUIS and its structure function and characteristic are presented in this paper. By integrating the merits of the map overlay method and the geographic information system (GIS), a GIS based map overlay method was developed to analyze comprehensively the environmental vulnerability around railway and its impact on the environment, which is adapted for the comprehensive assessment of railway environmental impact and the optimization of railway alignments. The assessment process of the GIS based map overlay method was presented, which includes deciding the system structure and weights of assessment factors, making environmental vulnerability grade maps, and evaluating the alternative alignments comprehensively to obtain the best one. With the GIS functions of spatial analysis, such as overlay analysis and buffer analysis, and functions of handling attribute data, the GIS based map overlay method overcomes the shortcomings of the existing map overlay method and the conclusion is more reasonable. In the end, a detailed case study was illustrated to verify the efficiency of the method. 展开更多

The ever-increasing complexity of industry facilities has made the reliability analysis and assessment an imperative yet tough work. Motivated by practical engineering requirement, this paper develops a Bayesian-based information extraction and aggregation (BIEA) approach for system level reliability estimation of a complex system. It takes both subjective judgments and objective field outputs into consideration. Novel features of this approach is a unique information content based aggregation process, which allows a flexible application of this framework in separated modules on account for purpose. The coherency of which is guaranteed by the objective information content calculation. This work goes beyond the alternatives that deal with solely attributed data under ideal information circumstance, and investigates a more generic tool for real engineering application. Limitations embedded in traditional statistical modeling methods have been eliminated in a nature manner by information transition and integration. In addition, a double axis driving mechanism (DADM) for erecting the antenna of a satellite is demonstrated as case study for benefit illustration and effectiveness verification. © 2017 Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information. 展开更多

The methods of grey representation and information processing are proposed for data collection and reasoning. The advantage of this control scheme is that it reduces the tracking errors and improves the robustness of the team cohesion to followers' faults. Augmented state matrix analysis method is introduced, and robust fault-tolerant control problem of networked control systems with noise disturbance under actuator failures is studied. The parametric expression of the controller under actuator failures is given. Furthermore, the result is analyzed by simulation tests, which not only satisfies the networked control systems stability, but also decreases the data information number in network channel and makes full use of the network resources. 展开更多

Amongthem, the hybrid network system architecture which is thedistributed configuration combining with the centralized cognition and its soft/hardware framework with the sense-detectionintegration are proposed, and the information processing framebased on the lens principle and its information processing flowwith receive-transmit joint adaption are designed, which buildand parse the work law for cognition and its self feedback adjustment with the lens focus model and five stages informationprocessing sequence. After that, the system simulation andthe performance analysis and comparison are provided, whichinitially proves the rationality and advantages of the proposedideas. Finally, four important development ideas of futureSWOTHR toward "high frequency intelligence information processing system" are discussed, which are scene information fusion, dynamic reconfigurable system, hierarchical and modulardesign, and sustainable development. To aim at the multimode character of the data from the airplane detecting system, the paper combines Dempster- Shafer evidence theory and subjective Bayesian algorithm and makes to propose a mixed structure multimode data fusion algorithm. The algorithm adopts a prorated algorithm relate to the incertitude evaluation to convert the probability evaluation into the precognition probability in an identity frame, and ensures the adaptability of different data from different source to the mixed system. To guarantee real time fusion, a combination of time domain fusion and space domain fusion is established, this not only assure the fusion of data chain in different time of the same sensor, but also the data fusion from different sensors distributed in different platforms and the data fusion among different modes. A new approach to knowledge acquisition in incomplete information system with fuzzy decisions is proposed. In such incomplete information system, the universe of discourse is classified by the maximal tolerance classes, and fuzzy approximations are defined based on them. Three types of relative reducts of maximal tolerance classes are then proposed, and three types of fuzzy decision rules based on the proposed attribute description are defined. The judgment theorems and approximation discernibility functions with respect to them are presented to compute the relative reduct by using Boolean reasoning techniques, from which we can derive optimal fuzzy decision rules from the systems. At last, three types of relative reducts of the system and their computing methods are given. 展开更多

The effects of real-time traffic information system(RTTIS)on traffic performance under parallel,grid and ring networks were investigated.The simulation results show that the effects of the proportion of RTTIS usage depend on the road network structures.For traffic on a parallel network,the performance of groups with and without RTTIS level is improved when the proportion of vehicles using RTTIS is greater than 0 and less than 30%,and a proportion of RTTIS usage higher than 90%would actually deteriorate the performance.For both grid and ring networks,a higher proportion of RTTIS usage always improves the performance of groups with and without RTTIS.For all three network structures,vehicles without RTTIS benefit from some proportion of RTTIS usage in a system. 展开更多

Based on the rough set theory which is a powerful tool in dealing with vagueness and uncertainty, an algorithm to mine association rules in incomplete information systems was presented and the support and confidence were redefined. The algorithm can mine the association rules with decision attributes directly without processing missing values. Using the incomplete dataset Mushroom from UCI machine learning repository, the new algorithm was compared with the classical association rules mining algorithm based on Apriori from the number of rules extracted, testing accuracy and execution time. The experiment results show that the new algorithm has advantages of short execution time and high accuracy. 展开更多

To explore the influence of intelligent highways and advanced traveler information systems(ATIS)on path choice behavior,a day-to-day(DTD)traffic flow evolution model with information from intelligent highways and ATIS is proposed,whereby the network reliability and experiential learning theory are introduced into the decision process for the travelers’route choice.The intelligent highway serves all the travelers who drive on it,whereas ATIS serves vehicles equipped with information systems.Travelers who drive on intelligent highways or vehicles equipped with ATIS determine their trip routes based on real-time traffic information,whereas other travelers use both the road network conditions from the previous day and historical travel experience to choose a route.Both roadway capacity degradation and travel demand fluctuations are considered to demonstrate the uncertainties in the network.The theory of traffic network flow is developed to build a DTD model considering information from intelligent highway and ATIS.The fixed point theorem is adopted to investigate the equivalence,existence and stability of the proposed DTD model.Numerical examples illustrate that using a high confidence level and weight parameter for the traffic flow reduces the stability of the proposed model.The traffic flow reaches a steady state as travelers’routes shift with repetitive learning of road conditions.The proposed model can be used to formulate scientific traffic organization and diversion schemes during road expansion or reconstruction. 展开更多

Relative navigation is a key feature in the joint tactical information distribution system(JTIDS).A parametric message passing algorithm based on factor graph is proposed to perform relative navigation in JTIDS.First of all,the joint posterior distribution of all the terminals' positions is represented by factor graph.Because of the nonlinearity between the positions and time-of-arrival(TOA) measurement,messages cannot be obtained in closed forms by directly using the sum-product algorithm on factor graph.To this end,the Euclidean norm is approximated by Taylor expansion.Then,all the messages on the factor graph can be derived in Gaussian forms,which enables the terminals to transmit means and covariances.Finally,the impact of major error sources on the navigation performance are evaluated by Monte Carlo simulations,e.g.,range measurement noise,priors of position uncertainty and velocity noise.Results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the extended Kalman filter and cooperative extended Kalman filter in both static and mobile scenarios of the JTIDS. 展开更多

Advanced traveler information systems (ATIS) can not only improve drivers' accessibility to the more accurate route travel time information, but also can improve drivers' adaptability to the stochastic network capacity degradations. In this paper, a mixed stochastic user equilibrium model was proposed to describe the interactive route choice behaviors between ATIS equipped and unequipped drivers on a degradable transport network. In the proposed model the information accessibility of equipped drivers was reflected by lower degree of uncertainty in their stochastic equilibrium flow distributions, and their behavioral adaptability was captured by multiple equilibrium behaviors over the stochastic network state set. The mixed equilibrium model was formulated as a fixed point problem defined in the mixed route flows, and its solution was achieved by executing an iterative algorithm. Numerical experiments were provided to verify the properties of the mixed network equilibrium model and the efficiency of the iterative algorithm. 展开更多
