Heilongjiang is a big agricultural province, however, the increase of farmers' per capital net income is rather slow in the last few years. On the basis of Lewis dual economic structure theory and our province's actual situation, the paper proposed the concrete countermeasures to increase farmers' income, so as to promote the development of economy.展开更多

Therefore, the limitations of the household contract responsibility system gradually appeared. The farmers professional cooperatives not only covered the limitations but also effectively connected the small-scale farmers with the competitive market by increasing the farmers' organizational degree. However, during the development process of farmers' professional cooperatives, many problems were exposed. By using SWOT analysis belonging to the field of enterprise strategic management, this paper discussed the opportunities and threats of the external environment, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the internal environment of Chinese farmers' professional cooperatives. Thereby, it proposed some development strategies for Chinese farmers professional cooperatives in the current stage .展开更多

Farmers' credit construction is an important part of the construction of new socialist countryside. As the subject of construction of new socialist countryside, some farmers are weak in credit awareness. Low credibility of traditional culture, uncompleted credit system construction and farmers' narrow thoughts led to their lacking of credit awareness. We should perfect the rural credit system, strengthen the construction of rural credit culture and enhance the construction of grass-roots credit administration, set integrity example model and take other measures to promote farmers' awareness of the integrity.展开更多

It examined the level of adoption of aquaculture technologies by Fadama Ⅲ beneficiaries and assessed the differences in adoption levels on sate basis. Five fish farmers were randomly selected on multiple stage bases from 18 Fadama Users' Groups (FUGs) amounting to 90 farmers as the sample size for this study (n=90). Structured questionnaire was used to elicit information from respondents. Data collected were measured using descriptive and adoption Sigma method analysis. Results obtained revealed that of the 12 selected aquaculture based technologies recommended by Fadama Ⅲ, the ratio of adoption skills ranged from 1 high: 7 medium: 5 low. The adoption levels followed a sequence of earthen ponds preparation being the highest, and stocking density techniques being the lowest. The overall adoption level was 4.20 which implied that the aquaculture farmers were categorized as medium adopters using the Sigma method scale. It was recommended that farmers with adoption levels at medium and low ranges should be focused upon with more teaching sessions by community facilitators and that other extension workers should emulate the strategies used by Fadama Ⅲ in developing farmers.展开更多

Studying the territorial inequality of the net income per peasant was an emphasis of this paper, and Shandong Province was pointed as the case study region. By the help of logistic regression, it could be found that the special distribution of the net income per peasant in Shandong Province was affected by three factors: distance to No.308 National Highway, distance to the coastline in the east of Shandong Province, and urbanization rates. Based on the decomposition of Gini index, the net income per peasant was divided into four parts, and it was found that the income from family business and salary were the two major sources of income. As to the mechanism for income inequality, it was proved that urbanization was still the key factor. In order to reduce income inequality, the local governments should promote urbanization through improving road networks, such as building highways, which could connect rural areas with the major nodes such as big cities and the port cities in the east.展开更多

The influence of income distribution difference on the economic growth of China changes with the change of time. During a short period immediately after China implemented reform and opening up policy, income inequality has a positive influence on the economic growth of China. However, along with the passing of time, such positive influence has become weaker and weaker and even convertes into negative effective. This paper proposes several advices with policy to restrain the difference of income distribution from expanding and weaken its negative effect on economic growth of China.展开更多
