First, the E1-Nabulsi dynamical model which is based on a fractional integral extended by periodic laws is introduced, and E1-Nabulsi-Hamilton's canoni- cal equations for non-conservative Hamilton system with holonomic or nonholonomic constraints are established. Second, the definitions and criteria of E1-Nabulsi-Noether symmetrical transformations and quasi-symmetrical transformations are presented in terms of the invariance of E1-Nabulsi-Hamilton action under the infinitesimal transformations of the group. Fi- nally, Noether's theorems for the non-conservative Hamilton system under the E1-Nabulsi dynamical system are established, which reveal the relationship between the Noether symmetry and the conserved quantity of the system.展开更多

We study the relaxation dynamics in a one-dimensional extended Bose–Hubbard model after a global interaction quench by considering several observables: the local Boson numbers, the nonlocal entanglement entropy, and the momentum distribution functions. We calculate the thermalization fidelity for different quench parameters and different sizes of subsystems, and the results show that the degree of thermalization is affected by the distance from the integrable point and the size of the subsystem. We employ the Pearson coefficient as the measurement of the correlation between the entanglement entropy and thermalization fidelity, and a strong correlation is demonstrated for the quenched system.展开更多

In this paper, a numerical algorithm is proposed to quantitatively simulate propagation of these fractures around a pressurized hole as a quasi-static phenomenon. The gas flow through the cracks is assumed as a one-dimensional transient flow, governed by equations of conservation of mass and momentum. The fractured medium is modeled with the extended finite element method, and the stress intensity factor is calculated by the simple, though sufficiently accurate, displacement ex- trapolation method. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, two field tests are simulated and the unknown parameters are determined through calibration. Sensitivity analyses are performed on the main effective parameters. Considering that the level of uncertainty is very high in these types of engineering problems, the results show a good agreement with the experimental data. They are also consistent with the theory that the final crack length is mainly determined by the gas pressure rather than the initial crack length produced by the stress waves.展开更多

The response variables were the area burned by lightning- caused fire, human-caused fire, and total burned area. The predictor variables were nine climate variables collected from the local weather station. Three regression models were utilized, including multiple linear regression, log- linear model (log-transformation on both response and predictor variables), and gamma-generalized linear model. The goodness-of-fit of the models were compared based on model fitting statistics such as R2, AIC, and RMSE. The results revealed that the gamma-generalized linear model was generally superior to both multiple linear regressionmodel and log-linear model for fitting the fire data. Further, the best models were selected based on the criteria that the climate variables were statistically significant at at = 0.05. The gamma best models indicated that maximum wind speed, precipitation, and days that rainfall greater than 0.1 mm had significant impacts on the area burned by the lightning-caused fire, while the mean temperature and minimum relative humidity were the .main drivers of the burned area caused by human activities. Overall, the total burned area by forest fire was significantly influenced by days that rainfall greater than 0.1 mm and minimum rela- tive humidity, indicating that the moisture condition of forest stands determine the burned area by forest fire.展开更多
